I would have selected zero stars if possible. They harrassed me during a short leave of abscence, exacerbating my situation, telling me I had not provided enough information for my claim to not be denied, although my physician filled out their 12 page document, as well as others. Once I had returned to work, magically my claim had been approved. No additional info was provided. Way to be consistent Reed! What you folks do should be illegal, shame on you! Purely disgusting!

Great group to deal with. My Case Manager was always in contact with me and also available when I called and had a question. I will be using them again here shortly due to another surgery I am having and I am hoping to have the same experience.

In the past I feel this group was managed well, and had mostly good staff members. Currently it has gotten so bad that my Doctor advised I should get a lawyer and sue my employer. To companies, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES if you value your employees, the company needs to solve really bad staffing issues. Read the other comments, you will see many 1 star, each I believe they have truly earned, get services elsewhere.

They don't seem to ever know what's going on
Twice I've been on the phone with them and they haven't been able to find my information, and they have called me on the other line while I'm on the phone with them. I have repeatedly given them info on when my return to work date is, but for some reason it doesn't stay saved in their computer system. Which screws up when I'm actually allowed back to work causing me to have a loss of earned wages.

This is the worst company in the world! They literally don't help you! I cant understand why big companies with plenty of resources utilize trash 3rd party companies like this instead of handling something as important as health related issues in-house. Screw this company and also screw any company that uses this place!

ReedGroup is the most unorganized, incompetent, and lying group of individuals I may have ever had to deal with. They give conflicting information to my HR representative, employer, and me. They have no problem taking your money but when it comes time for them to pay you they will do everything to keep from doing it. I was generous for even giving them one star. Wish there was an option to give negative stars.

Denied my Medical leave when I had to be hospitalized for anxiety and depression. Apparently inescapable thoughts of suicide are mild and expect you to work through it (my companies own HR told me I would be covered. Now i cant pay rent because they re holding my paychecks hostage)

This company has lied to me every step of the way in trying to get a medical leave of absence I now think they got me terminated from my job when I followed every possible instruction they gave me. This company is terrible if your workplace uses them good luck start searching for new jobs from the start apparently

Honestly the worst company ever. My case manager told me I was denied because I don't have my surgery scheduled because the surgeon is off and I can't schedule it till he gets back. When I called back to have them send me the appeal paperwork they told I wasn't denied. This company is so frustrating to deal with. I pay to have this short term disability and they deny me when I really need it, what's the point of having it.

It has been a nightmare having to deal with this company. It is bad enough that you go through a life changing event that leaves you disabled but they very clearly do not care about doing their jobs. They are disorganized, do not communicate, I was misinformed on several occasions and when I tried to talk to my case manager she refused to take my calls. Depending on who you speak to you get a different answer. They created so much stress for me while I was out and even when I came back by giving me wrong information on a constant basis. I believe their goal is to make sure you don't get paid. They should not be in business.
