Enjoyed the outdoor seating here. The staff were friendly and very attentive. We ordered the burger, the brussel sprouts and the beet salad . They were all decent.

The Mike Thai & chicken sandwich are the best things on the menu..
Great brunch spot, loved their chorizo chilaquiles and their mimosas
Very good food, friendly and professional staff. Great atmosphere. Love it!!!
The burger was done to my order and the staff were curtious and willing to please. I will revisit.
Want to like this place. Love the owners and the vibe here plus the location is super close, The food is good drinks are good. The pricing however given this area and the experience seems outrageous.
I order food togo last night 3 burgers 2 m. And 1 mr. All burgersare m calamares are nasty. Over over cook you don't taste nothing just the vegys they are not bussy. I dont know why the kitchen don do it right i am chef i am food lover. Definitely i don't go back.
Great chicken sandwich and fries. Consistent food and service.
Food was good. We dined in doors, outdoor available too.
Good bar, nice food the addition of the pretzel to the menu is awesome.
Everyone is so nice and the food is amazing. If you haven't gone yet GO!!!!!
Nice place, large portions, nice staff. We took an elderly friend, they were very accommodating.
Wanted for lunch today I had a burger it was delicious also customer service was good will be returning when I'm in the area
Good food and drinks and though the menu doesn't change much, what they do here is pretty good. Great local favorite.
Place is great for Redwood City, modern look, decent food, good drinks. It is packed, service a tiny bit slow, closes early but other than that great find.
Very loud inside, more like a bar atmosphere. Outside seating isn't worth the price you're paying. Chicken was severely overcooked. Great staff, chicken was quickly replaced, 2nd dinner was much better
Came for lunch once. The server wasn't too attentive despite it not being too busy (they missed a special request on my order). No biggy, I picked it off. My experience eating at the bar with friends or on a date was much different. The cocktails are good and they have a good selection of spirits. As a picky eater the menu felt limited to me, but my husband says I eat like a kid. Oh! Kid friendly place too. Although it is not a huge place so it can get a little loud in there sometimes, but nothing intolerable.
UPDATE: I have since been back to the bar 2 seperate times and was dissappointed. With 2 people behind the bar I expected faster service.
BATHROOMS:
impeccable! simple design makes it feel even cleaner.
Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Small but satisfying American menu.
Nuce bar.
Family friendly.
First time getting food here and the best part was the order taker/hostess she was extremely nice and helpful. But I hate paying good money for terrible food! My crispy chicken sandwich was extremely overcooked-burnt. My wife ordered a veggie burger that was undercooked and tasteless. The french fries and onion rings were not crispy. All of this could of been due to the restaurant being busy but that is no excuse.
On the louder side inside for a conversation but good food and beer. Half the seats face away from the TVs so you can blissfully ignore bright moving sportsball.
Great cocktails, delicious cocktails, and fabulous service.
Great meal and Renew is a real pleasure to meet. Loved it!
Very comfortable place. Very good bar food and very good drinks.
Great 1st experience. Great American fare for the whole family. Full bar is a plus. It does get busy so 20min wait is normal but worth it just have a drink and hang out.
Omg I finally tried the Redwood Grill And it was really good I tried the Redwood Burger And I loved it A little pricey but it was worth it.
Wonderful Food! Friendly Atmosphere!
Great Staff that are always looking to help you with the best experience!
We go to Redwood Grill all the time, and we love it! Great place for happy hour too.
I had the shrimp meal and my partner had the salmon with grilled brussel sprouts, which she said were the best she had ever had. The meal presentations were excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff very attentive. We highly recommend dining there.
The best crispy chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life
Service is a bit slow... appetizers good but main course steak over seasoned and tough...great venue and easy parking...
Late lunch with my wife. A glass of wine (Skyline Artisanal, a nice white blend), a burger (quite good, although the bun was without character), stuffed bread (not bad, but should be split among at least 4 people), and the grilled avocado. The shrimp salad makes up a big part of the grilled avocado, and it was, unfortunately, pretty bland. The service was inattentive, and we ended up having to wait too long between ordering apps/meal/getting check/paying
Beer options lots of em. Hamburgers were to die for. Brussels sprouts no words.
Very good ribs and drinks. Wife's burger was stellar. Had been wanting to try this place. We will be back soon. Manager went to each and every table to insure everyone was satisfied. Well done guys... well done.
Good cocktails and good food but the service is pretty slow..
They were not serving the burgers at the time I went, just appetizers. The taste is good.
Great place for casual lunch or brunch, very good food quality. A few menu options were not available but waiter was very cooperative.
Wonderful neighborhood new American eatery with lively bar. Consistently food food. Small selection of decent wines. Super friendly staff.
This was our second time here. The food is average and nothing to be excited about. It's expensive. The restaurant has a good atmosphere but the food is average.
Little pricey but service and food are excellent. The full service bar is terrific too!
Iconic restaurant, serving very good hamburgers. It is right in the center of Redwood city and has friendly and cordial staff to attend to. The cuisine is regional, with typical dishes from the USA.
A good option for those who do not like to wait a long time to be served and want good and tasty food.
Excellent and I will return.
Awesome spot for a date night, drinks with friends at the bar, game night. They got you covered. Good food too!!!!
Good food and service. Small with friendly atmosphere.
I think I chose the wrong dish. My companions seemed to like their food a lot.
Came to eat Impossible Burger but they did not have any, even though it was on the menu, so we left
Their burgers are great!
Their fries are not.
Grilled avocado and bbq wings are the tastiest of their starters.
The rest of the menu is OK, but I wouldn't go here if I didn't want a good burger.
Great food, great service. Awesome setting, glad to have a local grill not located in busy down town Redwood city.
Four of us had the ribeye steak dinner which we agreed was the best steak we have ever eaten. Also, the calamari for appetizers was delicious as well. Our new favorite Redwood City restaurant.
The lunch choices were few, but the food was good overall.
Finest food, welcoming staff, constantly excellent atmosphere. They charge affordable prices and the food quality is great. I recommend this place.
We stumbled upon this place sometime ago, we go every chance we can.
I like the redwood burger. I also like the decor staff is all great
My goodness was the food here delicious! Located in a very unassuming strip mall, this restaurant was an unexpected delight.
Starting off with the cocktails, we opted for Non menu drinks to see how the bar tender could hold up. I think I have found my new favorite mezcal spicy margarita. I had two And could have easily had four.
The appetizer Brussels sprouts were a must for us to try. The truffle oil was hinted and not over powering. Next time I ll be sure to get these Again. Maybe this will be a new stop in for sprouts and margaritas (if Ben is working)
Lastly the meal. I ordered the tacos and by very special request got to try the lettuce wrap and taco (not typically ordered). I m glad I tried both bc the lettuce outshot the tortillas. Fresh and crisp it paired perfectly with the shrimp. And they come with a heaping plate of chips, salsa and beans not mentioned on the menu.
I don't know what these people are thinking on the 1 or 2 bad reviews! We live in the neighborhood and go frequently and have always had great food, drinks, and service. Fantastic place!
Don't go for brunch, went twice. Both times were disappointing for both good and service.
Went once for dinner better in both counts
We like Redwood Grill even though it is a bit up and down - no consistency. We've enjoyed many a happy hour here even though the happy hour prices are no bargain. Even the fries and nachos are inconsistent.
Great Food, Excellent service. Don't miss out on the Impossible Burger.. But imo, the Grill Cheesburger with a Stella is da bomb.
The Grill Cheese is also exceptional <3
The rosemary chicken was great. Service was ok. Took 10 min to get the check.
Interesting menu, friendly and fast service, tasty food, nice atmosphere. Our second visit, and we will probably return, though it was very noisy today.
Pretty good spot for the area. I didn't have drinks but I hear they are quite tasty, and apparently they have a good happy hour. My sister lives in RC and this is one of her go-tos. It was perfect for my family for lunch. Really friendly staff.
Great food and great space. Love the photos on the wall of old Redwood City. I've been here all my life and can really appreciate the history.
Great food and craft cocktails, will definitely be a return visit in the future
Buddy Ruchir recommended this place. Great spot would come again. Great atmosphere and people
Love this place! Great service and an awesome menu, yummy stuff!
Good food and service and happy to see the restaurant busy. But with the high ceilings and concrete floors, the noise level precludes any normal conversations.
Food is good but a little on the expensive side for what it is.
Quaint local restaurant that's been missing from the Woodside Plaza area of Redwood City for a long time. Food and drinks are always very good as is the service. Menu doesn't change much and very few specials on their menu, but what they do they do well. Lunch during the week and early dinners on the weekends are our favorite time to go but they now also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday that's pretty good. The restaurant is doing so well that they're even expanding it next door to offer coffee and light breakfast faire during the week.
Good service, great Bloody Mary, and great chicken sandwich
