The food is very good, have to recommend the crab cakes! Very nice location by the lake with a big patio. We were sitting inside due to the heat though. I am only giving 4 stars because it was very very loud inside even though it was not even full. Hard to have a conversation. Apart from that great place!

The service is not consistent. Waiter who was serving our lunch and birthday celebration last Sunday was so rude and abrupt that I started to count how many times he has answered " NO" to our not very demanding and polite questions. We were celebrating a Birthday of a friend - a big disappointment to have her invited to Red's Table on this day. The manager was concerned and we were served by a different waiter after all. The food was good.

Terrible service, wait staff shared political opinions, repeatedly demanded that we order entrees on the patio (after we had ordered), will not be back. Decent food, terrible service and policies

This was our first time eating at Red's Table. Our overall experience was very mediocre. The food was ok. I had the fall pasta. The portion was small and it was totally overpriced. I don't mind paying for qaulity food and service. This was not our experience here.

We discovered Red s by chance, but it quickly became a favorite. We love the lakeside dining and the unfussy atmosphere. Don t let its location at the nether end of a strip mall dissuade you from trying it. We ve never had anything we didn t like. Favorites include the melt-in-your-mouth creamy goat cheese fritters, the coriander dusted scallops, and the summer harvest pasta. We enjoy taking friends there because we can visit and feel unhurried.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. When I'm in town I frequently drop in for soup or salad and wifi. Or meet friends for lunch for a more substantial meal. Vegetarian and Pescatarian friendly, but the Carnivores seem to enjoy it, too.
Desserts are delicious without being fussy.
Extra points for a consistently chill staff.

Been several times, each time ordering different food and has been great each time. They have lots of locally brewed beers to chose from. The patio is nice on a warm day and good on a cool day if all heaters are running. The seating outside can be cramped, tables and seats are very close together making it hard to get in and out.

The few times I've came here for happy hour were generally ok. Staff doesn't seem to check up on you much, happy hour prices are pricier than normal and food is probably at best 7 out of 10. The fries are really good but for $5 and at happy hour price, I don't think so..

First time here and loved everything! From the lake view to great customer service and let s not forget the great food! I found the food to be very fresh and not over salted (like most restaurants). I would highly recommend checking this place out!

I ordered calamari and crab cake to go, and everything was good except my fries were cold. Literally everything else was on point. The staff was friendly in my short time there. I think the last interaction I had when given my food was with the owner. He was extra nice, even spending more time to find a silverware pack for me. :)

Return after a bad service experience a year ago. Service this go around was OK. Saddened by the overcooked biscuits. The apricot jam was not very appealling. For $5 a herbed whipped butter or honey would have helped. The menu paints a better picture than the delvered product. Spicy hollandaise was pretty basic. I think the use of biscuits for Benedict makes it too heavy and not as enjoyable. My friends pear salad was pretty lackluster.

We had several small issues that led to just and "okay" dinner. We had a reservation on a rainy night and when asked where we wanted to sit, we asked for inside. We were promptly taken outside to the plastic encased porch where it was quite humid. We did not question or protest the table as the hostess was pretty disinterested when she seated us. Our server was equally disinterested. While explaining the specials she glanced around the porch and picked up the extra place setting...her voice drifting off in whichever direction she was looking. "Do ya' want something to drink?" We ordered and my margarita was just awful - all mix. I had a couple of sips and after a while she asked if I wanted another. Well, my glass is mostly full. "No thank you, it was awful." She did not even listen to my answer beyond no. The food was okay, but not spectacular. For the price I have been happier at Coastal Flats/Jackson's. You are not missing anything here.

This is by far one of our favorite Reston restaurants. We love the fact that the food is always great. The portions are good sizes and not overwhelming. Everything we have tried has tasted amazing. The service can be a tad slow at times, but it's never too huge of an issue.

I would love to see them add more Non-Alcoholic Beer options other than St. Pauli Girl. With so many good options out there like Athletic Brewing, Gruvi or many others it would be nice to have more availabilities.

Eggs Benedict was delicious. Crab bisque was good. Clam chowder was ok. It would have been better with chunks of clam in it and the portion was too small for $9. Pancakes were kind of dry and served with only one small container of syrup and no butter. They just need to improve some of the small details. I look forward to coming back when the weather warms up to enjoy the water view.

Our family 0f 16 celebrated three graduations in Red's Table's private dining room yesterday. The space was perfect, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. Setting it up was a breeze thanks to Ryan Tracy's guidance.

Lunch is okay. I had the business lunch. The calamari is excellent and the mussels are good but the service is extremely slow. It took over 45 minutes to get an entree.

Came here the next day for dinner and the food was excellent. Had the salmon with the risotto. They were out of the banana cake, so I got the blueberry dessert instead. It was okay, the sweet corn whipped cream was the best part.

If you just want to enjoy the view then pack a picnic basket and go sit on the benches down below or on the grassy area next to the plaza, otherwise if you are simply looking for great food, keep searching. I mean the food is ok, but they had a lovely opportunity to match the quality of the food to the wonderful view and make this place a go-to, but they fell short.

Red's was wonderful, then not so wonderful, but it seems to have recovered, and is providing good reasonably priced food again. If you had a bad experience in 2017, it's time to give them another shot. Wonderful Brunch food on the weekend, and the regular menu is great too.

The food was ok but the service was not. Our waitress did not check on us after our food was dropped off. My husband was through his soup and half of his salad before she came over. I was in need of ketchup for my burger which finally arrived after my husband had finished his meal and my burger was cold. Not somewhere we will be visiting again soon.

We regularly attend after work happy hours at red s table. We always put in a reservation (so they have enough staff) and they are so accommodating and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure the service is fantastic. By the way the food is really good too!

Wow! First time visiting and definitely would recommend and will come back. Portions are generous and menu is varied so everyone can find something to eat here. Staff is attentive and friendly and above all--patient! We came with two kids (3 &10) and they even loves the place. Great view/lakeside vibe and if you just want to meet up for drinks they have you covered there as well with outstanding draft selection and we'll chosen wine and spirits!

Soooooooo underwhelming. We live a stones throw away and love the atmosphere but the food is always overly complicated and trying too hard, over priced, and hit or miss on how good it is. Not trying to be a Debby Downer bc we would love to have this place be amazing but it just not that great:

Very good food (would call it modern American), great bar, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, and not terribly crowded (happy medium). Clam chowder in particular is recommended, as are different brunch entrees. Outdoor porch is fantastic, even if its a little cooler out. Dinner is good, brunch is excellent.

Great place. Food has improved a lot since they first opened, and it has become a neighborhood place to go. Waiters and bartenders are always friendly and most attentive. Keep up the good work, Red's. We'll surely be back and hope better times will come to enjoy your bar and live music!

Red's is a great option for seafood in the DMV area with a beautiful view. It is a little on the pricier side, but the food has never been disappointing. They also have a delicious late night menu and a rotating selection of craft beer.

Our sever was great. Our food was so delicious. I've been a few times and each time I get the crab dip and the fresh catch. Never disappointed. There were 9 of us for a business lunch. Food was prepared and delivered very quickly. Everyone was friendly.

Our third visit to Red's was not a charm. My HB and I went on VD. Our prior meals and experiences were great. My HB ordered the short ribs and what was served was unacceptable. The meat was tough. My HB ordered another item on the menu which was fine. We are childfree and eat out often. We expected a kitchen staff member or a manager to come talk to us and at least comp our dessert. I gave 3 stars since my meal and my HB replacement was good but we were disappointed on the service to customers who have an unpleasant experience . The waitress was friendly but did not have a handle on how the meals were prepared and not very attentive. We may return and hope for a better experience.

This place is EXPENSIVE. Reston Town Center prices and then some. At the bar, IPA draft during happy hour is $8.00. Food and service are pretty good, but some of us have to work for a living.

Service was not really great. Server seemed distracted or uninterested in taking care of his table.

The food is very overpriced. I ordered a grilled steak salad - it was a small pile of greens with four pieces of meat. Ended up going back to the office and eating a second lunch. For the price, I would expect to be reasonably full, as is the case anywhere else I've ordered a similar meal, but I spent more than I would have liked and left hungry. Won't waste my money here again.

The food and drinks at this restaurant are great. Friendly staff and good ambiance. Good happy hour with food and drinks menu.
The burgers are very tasty and the brunch food is good. The mimosas flavor selection was a little disappointing the Sunday I was there, however they have many other beverages options and it is a great place to have a nice meal and drinks by the water.

We made reservations for brunch at 11 am, and it filled up pretty quickly especially on the patio. The service was good and the food was delicious. The chicken and waffles with maple sriracha was tasty and the challah french toast was light and moist. The side of bacon was very generous. It was hard to choose from the menu, so I look forward to going back and trying something new.

During difficult times, Red s Table makes one feel as if nothing has really changed. With their extensive beer list, fantastic food and great service, it s a place that can take you back to a time when masks were only used to scare people and movie theater s were open. Red s like, Cheers, just makes you feel like you are glad you came.

It was a lovely night and we sat outside. Service was excellent and all dishes and drinks came out quickly. Great selection of beers on tap was a nice surprise. Crab dip appetizer was really good. The table had the pasta, veggie burger, risotto and regular hamburger. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. This place is a gem in Reston.

Reds table has a great outdoor eating area, set amongst trees and a beautiful lake. On summer or fall days, this outdoor area is perfect! The food is pretty good, as well. It's got a great lunch special that includes an appetizer, an entree, and a drink for $20. They've got great choices for appetizers. I had the goat cheese fritters, PEI oysters, and the calamari, which were great for a group. For my entree, I got the crabcake burger. The burger was a bit dry, I wouldn't recommend it. However, I would definitely come back again and try something else from their entree list.

Seating was prompt; our server was attentive and very friendly; our meals came in a timely manner; the food was prepared to our taste; the restaurant's atmosphere and location on the lake completed a wonderful evening out. Cost is relative to what you eat and drink.
