Reddaway Trucking is the best trucking cumpuny in the world.
I never checked their Google rating after so many failures from this carrier. Now it s clear why they have such low rating. I empathize for the employees since they likely are employed by this inept company without knowing how poor the service is. I m not going into detail but our company has experienced so many problems over and above delivery delays and missteps.
The craziest part is you can only contact a call center and have a nice lady say I m understand. Well, the Company doesn t understand. Problem is you can t speak to someone with decision making solutions and they have never followed up to explain or apologize.
They need to discover the real meaning of Customer service .
With Carrier competition in today s world, it s amazing this company can survive.
BEWARE! WORST COMPANY!! Truly Terrible company. Should not be in business. Rude. Unprofessional. Delivery is OVER one week late. After having an employee stay from 9-5 all week this company never delivered my item. Said they tried. Not true. I was there. Never left a notice of attempt. When I called the company again... The Company said they would deliver but, REFUSE to help move package for me. I just had surgery (cesarean) and"Velvet Liddy" told me that I should have support after a baby as she laughed and said to bad for me.. she had two and had lots of support. Maybe I shouldn't have had a baby with no support! How dare she. She should be fired immediately. Long story.. I'll have to carry box myself. My surgery is not Reddaway's problem. WOW... Just wow! "Marty Hold" the manager has yet to call me back and "Bob Stone" the president has also not responded to me. I am disgusted! No wonder they have 9 1 star reviews! Karma will be putting them out of business soon!
Every single time I have called I have been placed on hold in excess of 20+ minutes. I will be reporting them on every single platform I can.
Not the best experience. I came home from work early to sit around for 4 hours and losing out on personal income for them not to show up. I call and they weren t able to put it on a truck. After calling a few more times and having them call the warehouse I was able to get it on a truck and delivered at 7pm.
AGGRAVATING to deal with, to say the least. ZERO stars would still be too many. Whenever you call them, put on your coat for a trip to the Philippines because you will NOT talk to anyone in the U.S. proper. They have standard answers for everything, except one that actually answers your question. ZERO customer service. If it weren't for third party billing required on some on our shipments I would NEVER use this company. Drivers are nice, but dispatchers don't seem to have a grasp on the task, and the "customer service" line is just that; A Line. They will lie to you at every turn, yes I said LIE, and give you a bunch of double-talk that just melts your brain. Stay away, Pay more. Use anyone else. It's is just not worth the headache to call these guys.
How can a company have so many employees that are infected with lies, dishonesty and flat out not caring about the one thing that is important to a company and that is their customer base. Been 10 days that a shipment arrived at a terminal and cannot get someone to tell the truth on why it cannot deliver nor will they let a customer come in and pick up the product due to COVID. It's like they have taken your freight as hostage. All of this starts from the top and the top is rotten to the core.
Dishonest. Unreliable. Irresponsible. Worst shipping experience we ever had. Want your package sits in terminal without delivery attempt and shipped back to shipper without request? Want spend your time calling them 20 times and here lie and promises to deliver tomorrow? Go for it.
I once said they were great. But when you actually need something from them they suck. Lack of communication and will never answer your phone calls and messages.
Slow, waited three days for a pickup that never came, customer service accused our business of lying about pickup time, didn't reply to inquiries about pickup and had rude customer service. Never again.
Great people working at a great trucking company. Happy 100 years in business. 1919 to 2019.

If I could give this company -10 stars I would do it!! This company has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with!! They are rude and will actually hang up on you if you disagree with them! They also ripped me off and changed my shipping quote to almost double DURING the shipping, so I could not refuse it. Do yourself a favor and call ANY shipping company than REDDEWAY!!!!!
UPDATE*** and now they are calling me wanting $140 more because they had use a "liftgate" to get a 400 lb item out of the truck!!!!! LMAFO..how else did they think they were going to get it out!!! like I said..ABSOLUTLEY the WORST company I have ever dealt with!!!!
Very disappointed with service from Reddaway. Was advised package would be delivered on 3/16, and to be home to sign for delivery. Waited all day at home and at 4:35 ( past delivery window they advised), I called Reddaway. They assured me that the driver was in Keizer, a short distance from my address, and they would be coming. I canceled evening plans to wait. No one showed up. I tried to call to find out what was going on, and business was closed. I called this morning, 3/17 and talked to someone I could hardly understand and he said it would be delivered. I asked if I could get a ballpark time, and he said anytime throughout the entire day. I feel like this carrier holds your items hostage and you must jump through their hoops and play their game. Very frustrating. Will not be ordering from any business who uses Reddaway for delivery!!!!
Said they would be here from 2-6 no show very important project to be on with product to install. They did end up showing much later than wanted.
Terrible company that literally does not care about it's clients or contracts. Delivery windows are not only disregarded but they won't even bother calling you to update. Times like these are when I love corporate because they will at least be held to standards unlike this joke of a company. Do not get anything from HOME DEPOT delivered, they use Reddaway as a courier. Just had to cancel my order after a month of waiting because the customer service was so bad on Reddaway's end. Bad bad bad company.
