The food here is amazing!! In my experience the wait to sit inside can be long (it s been a year+ so could be different now) but it s worth the wait, and take out is super fast. The sides stand out here among other bbq spots for me.
The food was great, no complaints at all there. However, my girlfriend found 1 bone in her pulled pork and I had 2 bones (or cartilage) in my pulled chicken. Be CAREFUL!
I absolutely love this place, had there bbq platter once, had their burgers, had their wings and all very good. I wish they would lower the delivery price and I would order more often, I know the restaurant gets charged when they go through the online delivery services but still $6 for delivery and then you obviously have to tip the driver is too steep. I usually only get delivery when I have some sort of code or discount to make up the difference. I plan on going to Davis and getting to-go and eating outside a few times this summer the food really is good and worth the trip.
Great place right in the heart of Davis square, we heard about this place through friends with high recommendations. The place does look old and dirty and I can't stand the hippie atmosphere in the basement but besides that the food and prices are great. I love getting the dinner special with meat, two sides and cornbread. Best thing to do is get mac and cheese and smother them in bbq sauce.The brisket is great you can taste the Smokey flavors and it melts in your mouth. I'd recommend going and just overlook the outdated decor.
two days ago was the first time we came to that place. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the excellent service, with the superb food and booze and with the friendly pay. We will surely come back soon.

This place is a great combination of location plus all the taste you need in your meals, specially pork.
Only the concern I got during my meal is- the sides of Mac n cheese was not served hot and was well dressed with cheese as I would've expected from this place. Fries could've been fresh too.
Overall, I recommend this place for a pork meal you'd want to visit not just for one time.
Ribs were pretty dry and had to put up a prize fight to get the meat off the bones. I'm not so sure you really cool the meat for 14 hrs. Mac and cheese was delicious though. Fast car-side service.
Ordered from the website. Straightforward and easy experience. When I arrived I walked right in and got my food. It was the easiest order and pickup experience I ve had in the last year. Food was good as usual. I look forward to dining in person again in the future.
Had to drop family off at Logan Airport and decided to try Redbones on the return trip to Methuen. The food was great and that was takeout and a 30 minute drive home before we could eat! I can just imagine eating it in the restaurant soon as it was cooked! We got the Mac and cheese with burnt ends and pulled pork, both delicious. We also got the BBQ meat platter and Banana pudding and the Texas chocolate sheet cake, all of it was great! Will definitely be visiting again.
