The place was set in a very, calming and beautiful area surrounded like a peninsula by red mountain on 3 sides and the fourth side was a cliff where you could just sit and view a massive landscape sprawl out in front of you. Forget about watching the sunrise, the mountain takes that away but the sunset is perfectly set just to the open side of the peninsula like area. Was able to watch the sunset whilst laying in a hammock with the sounds of running water and local wildlife running about. Traffic to and from the resort is next to none as it's a couple miles from the actual city. Lastly, the staff was great, room service would come on time with piping hot meals, and everyone was friendly.
I'd really recommend this spot to anyone who stopped in st. George UT for a vacation.

I didn t take part in any of the classes or demos; but their onsite spa is excellent. Close proximity to Snow Canyon provided me with days of hike options - and the food is second to none. Add the professional, courteous and super friendly staff - and a view to wake up to that can t be described - you can t beat going here.

Beautiful area.

Beautiful area.
The rooms are fine. Spacious and with the charm of a mid-range business hotel. Food is good, if somewhat unexciting (not where the adventure happens...). Passable beer and wine selection.
Great massage. Can't speak for the rest.
Great morning hike.
Outrageously priced "adventures" better sourced elsewhere. Zion visit was a bunch of short walks I could have done myself more pleasantly. Canyoneering was very short with insufficient instruction.

Mediocre overall.

Possibly the best health spa and resort in North America. It has quickly become my favourite vacation destination. From the friendly and helpful staff to the AMAZING surrounding environment to the seminars and exercise classes and health activities and cooking demonstrations to the outstanding menu to the well kept up grounds... I can go on and on. If you want to hike on your own you'll love it but the guided hikes are really great. All skill levels can find something they will love. Great gym equipment. We stayed in the villas and have nothing but good to say about them. The housekeeping staff was fantastic and quick to help and love the new texting to guest services for when you need anything from more towels to signing up for activities. I can't wait to go back and I have no doubt that I will be.

The staff, facilities and services were absolutely amazing. The lunch was delicious and the massage was heavenly. We did girls boot camp in the morning which was a real kick in the butt. Our instructor was amazing though and got us through. Loved it!

Phenomenal wellness retreat!! There's something for everyone, and you can squeeze so much into a day. Adventure, exercise, self improvement, education, finding yourself or reconnecting with the oneness, whatever you are looking for chances are you can find it here! Only downside is having to leave at the end of the stay, you won't want to leave it's so amazing.

Hikes every morning, great food and lodging. Close to Snow Canyon. Lots of wellness and fitness classes. Informed instructors. Spa that has every option you can think of. Swimming pools. And the absolute best part, hammocks for an afternoon read in the sun!!

Make sure that you are absolutely certain when you make a reservation. They offer no latitude in their deposit. I realized 2 days after making a reservations (for 2 months out) that I could not make the date. The person handling my call was abrupt, made no offer of trying to help me find another date, and didn't even offer any semblance of "I'm sorry, but....". It was an obnoxious enforcement of a policy in a rude manner to boot. Very surprising front line "customer service" engagement for a place that supposedly is all about customer experience.

My wife and I just stayed in the Villas at the Red Mountain Resort. The service and amenities were amazing. Starting with the reservation process, the staff at Red Mountain was great to work with and very kind. The views outside the villas of the red rocks were stunning and serene. We loved the guided hike through the beautiful scenery in Snow Canyon. The heated pool and hot tub were also awesome. The food and service at the restaurant were also great. If you are looking for a resort to eat well, exercise, and relax, this is it.

Great location. I didn't have this place on my radar until a fellow traveler recommended it. Its close to the snow canyon state park so you have ample opportunities to go hiking and be out in nature.

They have two big pools indoor and outdoor. the restaurant and the food is great. They organize hiking tours as well. the only down side are the insects that were constantly loud but i understand its only in July and August especially during very hot temperatures. Gym is also good. Loved this place

Unfriendly for people with diabilities. I am shocked by the lack of basic necessities for someone in a wheelchair or crutches. There are stairs getting into the fitness center- no ramp. There are stairs getting into the salon/spa- no ramp or elevator to the second floor. The special music classes and talks are on the second floor of the restaurant, but again- no elevator! How is this even legal? I ve never seen anything like it before.

Fraud lies and deception! You book a 1 bedroom villa they will give you a studio room which is just a hotel room and then charge you $30 to get what you paid for. They will have rebuttles, excuses and lies but they are cheating people by using semantics. Contact me and we will sue them. I was going to book at the other escada resort but thought this was cheaper. I even called the lady on the phone Before booking and she told me 1 bedroom meant I would get a living room and full apartment.

Red Mountain Resort does an amazing job of ensuring each guest can relax, play and dine at their own pace while providing an unlimited number of options. Had the best vacation in years at this resort.

Amazing deal and services. My wife and I did a couple's day for our anniversary. $100 per person for a full body massage, lunch and a pedicure. Cody and Trevor gave amazing massages. Highly recommend!

This was my sister's wedding week. I wanted to treat her to a spa day with the rest of the bachelor party and had made sure to check reviews for a spa selection as well as to book it in a reasonable time frame. About a month ago I booked a group of us to do the "Diva for a Day" package and some for the "Body and soul" package. On May 18, 2017. I called the resort to see if I could tweak one person not being able to go only for them to tell me they lost my reservation and that I was no longer in the system. They did have the integrity to say they remembered booking me, and I was determined to make sure we enjoyed our day so we worked out just doing a much more downgraded package (they did offer to comp two pedicures (Bride and M.O.B [Mother of the bride]). I was told to be there at 11 am and that I could arrive early at 9:30 am if I desired on May 19, 2017 (Our scheduled day before the wedding) only to receive a phone call on the morning of our spa day at roughly 10:18 am that some of us were late for our appointment. At this point, I was frustrated. We had a set amount of time that we could only do and I finally just said we had to cancel our spa day. Their reply was a routine, "feel free to schedule with us another time." This was not what I planned for the day and not how I saw it should have gone down for my sister (the bride). We ended up only being able to do lunch at Sakura and drop my sister off at the only place that would fit her in to get her nails done in time at Cosmo Nails (despite how heavily they were booked) for the wedding while the rest of us prepared the reception area for today. She did not receive the pampering or bonding moment she, or anyone else in the bridal party, should have gotten that day and we won't get that day back. It was supposed to be special. None of us will ever bother with this place again. Once was enough and we didn't even walk through the doors.

Very good for relaxing but also as a base for a hiking or mountain biking holiday suitable. The suites are very nice and big. During our stay, however, we noticed the housekeeping negative. If we do not 2 times! Asked in the reception, then our suite would have been forgotten on both days.

Resort community outside of St George. Our accommodations are the basic room; beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and the shower is lovely. All the grounds are meticulously maintained including the pool and hot tubs. Dinner and breakfast buffet both healthy and tasty.

Excellent place to stay. Had stayed there during DocUtah film festival. A very unique and beautiful location. The staff are very cordial and helpful. They have some great outdoor space and just being at the resort itself is a joy. Would love to come back again.

Very accommodating staff, they were aware that I was arriving just in time for a scheduled hike and would miss the open dining room hours upon my return. They quickly went over the food options and ensured there were gluten free options available. The rooms are quiet, with a refrigerator and coffee maker (in the closet, with clothing detergent and other necessities). Lots of food options from the restaurant, snacks at a grab and go bar, and at the outfitters. Guides are knowledgeable, prepared, observant and ensure everyone is doing okay during the hikes/activities.There's an endless amount of options for all athletic levels and interests. I plan on returning very soon!

I went to Red Mountain Spa for a paint nite event with a friend. The place was beautiful. We were in the restaurant it a little side room. Our waiter was kind but I never got a refill on my soda. They serve beer and wine only and I am not a huge fan but other people seemed to enjoy their drinks.

In times of covid-19, they still managed excellent service, work arounds that made sense/felt safe but still left you feeling like you were at a luxury resort. Made our experience at the Waldorf Astoria in Vegas feel like a 2 star experience by comparison.

I am gluten free (Celiac disease) and I made sure to call ahead to see if they could accommodate me. I ate dinner here and got the sickest I have ever been. I also took a bubble bath at the resort, not knowing that all of their products are full of wheat. When we informed them, they didn't seem to care much.

Modest accommodations for the price but the place is very quiet and a great escape. Take a walk around the property and into the lava fields (suedo maze). Great place for a bit of down time.

So many activities. Please do your research before you go and sign up for activities in advance. Different daily hikes. Accommodations (Villa's) are extremely nice. Will return in a couple of years when the pandemic is over.

Red Mountain Resort provides a wonderful experience that is truly luxurious and relaxing. Facilities, amenities, and employees were all exceptional. The landscaping and scenery are gorgeous, the technicians are professional and provided excellent service, and the food is delicious, to mention a few highlights. I received the quality that I paid for and will be returning.

Ended up here by accident...

Thank you to the guy who took my call late one Sat night when I was in Page AZ and reality hit that all hotels, motels & camping sites were all sold out! My mom & I didn't plan things out because we never imagined that we wouldn't be able to find something near Page or Zion but I must have made 40-50 calls to every type of hotel and no luck. Long story short a young lady from another hotel located this one for us and they had 2 rooms left!

We ended up in a villa as everything else was sold out and after making the 2.5 hour drive from Page we ended up in this oasis.

Behind large gates lies this little jewel that is about 20 mins from downtown St.George. You drive up winding streets, up the hill, passing many upscale communities. It was so beautiful.

I've never been happier to see a front desk person and this guy was so nice. After a short drive from the front desk to our room there was the bed! And then I spotted the jacuzzi tub! After soaking for an hour or so I slept like a baby.

The room was beautiful with very comfy beds, nice large restroom with a pretty shower and huge jacuzzi tub, fireplace (we didn't use it but it would be perfect for cooler nights) and a huge balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains along with a nice pool. I really liked everything.

The nice guy who spoke with me over the phone was kind enough to throw in free breakfast for us and we made it just before they closed. Unfortunately breakfast was extremely bland. If you're going to pay for breakfast here I would pass. I didn't take pics because I forgot my phone in the room :(

These rooms are set up as apartments or condos and with a rate of about $250 on a Sat night. With every place sold out in all directions I was very surprised that the rate wasn't doubled.

We would have loved to stay longer and explore the grounds and check out the hikes behind this place but there's always next time!
