My husband and I recently stayed here a few nights and really enjoyed our experience. We both booked their regular massage and feel like it s the best massage we have ever had! The proximity to Snow Canyon is great so we could hike and then walk back down and enjoy the pools and hot tub. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the selection. We would stay here again.

The resort was amazing ! My massage with Evelin was the best. I also received a pedicure and that was lovely except for the part that my sandal touched my polish( my polish was wet for at least an hour.) I wish they would offer gel toes instead. The lunch was delicious, except our waiter wasn t very welcoming. When we asked for the alcohol menu she seemed bugged. The pool and sauna are a must ! I will be returning

Beautiful place, awesome scenery, fabulous hikes with great guides. Delicious food that's healthier than you're used to.

Wonderfully appointed rooms with nearby laundry facilities. We don't want to leave!

Enjoyed Red Mountain Resort! If you want to stay on site and do classes then do the inclusive option. If you're not interested in classes and just want to enjoy the bike rides, gym facilities and easy drives to Zion then you can also go a la carte! Morning hikes and easy access to snow canyon were great.

The room was the quality of motel 6

The room was the quality of motel 6
No coffee maker
No micro wave.
The bed was not even a pillow top it was a low grade spring bed
Do your self a favor and stay in town for 100 a night
Get a local message for 29.00 a hour and no tour guide is needed and
UTAH has done a great job of putting up signs to show people the best part of the parks
This place is a cash cow and if you have the money to burn and dont expect value for you dollar
Then have at it!!!!!!!!
Btw no security in the parking lot and it is DARK DARK DARK

Great resort, I mostly go here for the outfitters store. They stock lots of fun stuff and are priced reasonably. They even offer a locals discount if you ask for it. Their hiking department is also great, nothing better than hiking among the sandstone. I also here great things about the cafe, just haven't tried it yet.

So you looking at a quiet getaway for a reasonable price that is close to home and the picturesque veiw of the red rocks then look no further than red mountain resort the relaxing day in the hot tub and a romantic dinner was what I needed

The suite was a great room. The staff was very accommodating. We had a nice view of the pool and the mountains in the background. The restaurant was also amazing with a very fresh lunch buffet.

I will definitely be returning to this gem. The accommodations were fantastic, clean, and current. The cuisine was perfect for being at a spa and for all of the activity your doing. The spa treatments we're very good compared to other high end luxury places. Every one of the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Management there must be awesome, because every single employee we spoke with was so friendly and grateful to work there! We had a spa day, and every service was excellent! (only suggestion is more toilets needed in the women's changing room :) )

My husband and I got a couples massage at the spa and ate lunch at the restraunt. It was so relaxing. The views from the spa and restraunt are awesome. The staff was fantastic. The food at the lunch buffet was healthy, fresh, and tasty.

My wife and I scheduled a 50 minute couples massage. We went to the spa and paid $220 up front cash and then went and got dressed for the massage. They then told us that we would be getting a singles massage separately. I explained we had paid for a couples massage and they said that there were not rooms available for a couples massage and we would have to go alone. My wife had been looking forward to this so after ten minutes of them saying there was nothing they could do we got our massage separately. This whole fiasco was taken off of our massage time when I found out when my massage ended at 40 minutes rather than the 50 we paid for. That is 20% of the time lost. I took my complaint to the front desk where we paid and I was refunded a whopping $11.00. I then called and spoke to a manager the next morning and was told he could refund 50% of my purchase. I agreed and was expecting to receive $99.00 more to make it a total $110.00 refunded. That did not happen. They ended up refunding an additional $66.00. Well short of what he said he would do. If you like dealing with people that have integrity don't do business with these people. What a joke.

I cannot say enough good things or tell more people about my wonderful experience at Red Mountain Resort. I signed up for a package where I received one spa treatment per day included, took part in all of the free activities that I could manage and sprung for some extras. The meals were terrific especially for meals included with your stay. Everyone who worked there was beyond positive and while I stayed for the week they remembered my name as well as my dog's. Did I mention it's a resort that allows you to bring your best fur friend?!

Two stars for beautiful location and nice rooms, but -3 stars for service. We checked in yesterday and the air conditioning was broken. After sleeping in 78 degree rooms all night we asked at 8 am to have it fixed. It is now 10:30 pm and it is still 77 degrees inside. We asked 4 times today for it to be fixed, most recently at 9:15 pm. We asked for the manager to be paged at 10:15. No response. Really a disappointing response from the staff of an expensive resort.

Martha Martha Martha!! I have been to this Resort every year for the past 3 years and this by far has been the best trip. Martha was my hiking guide in the past and has been promoted to the head of outdoor activities. For the first time since I have been coming here she took the extra effort to put hikes together that fit my profile. I think it is ridiculous that they will not offer an advanced hike daily for the money you pay at this Resort, however Martha helped ease this management flaw. Thank you.

I ve been here twice and looking forward to going back again this month. It s a beautiful resort with breathtaking views, a first class spa and fitness center, an exceptional list of daily activities, and healthy, delicious meals. It s also very affordable and the staff is amazing. Can t wait to return!

Went to canyon breeze restaurant. It is a nice restaurant with lots of options for different preferences: meat, vegetarian, gluten free. Dessert was delicious. I had the peanut butter cookie in ice cream.

RMSpa is in the most glorious part of the world. For those people who have never seen the beauty in Southern Utah it is a must! I have all positive remarks about Red Mountain Spa and highly recommend people going to the spa. I LOVE the Outfitters Store and their hiking shoe selection is the best! The staff throughout Red Mountain Resort is fabulous and the facility is beautiful

My three star rating only goes to the hiking program which falls short in my opinion.

There needs to be something in between the Endurance and Challenge hike and it needs to be offered daily. (I have heard over the years from numerous returning guests that they are not happy with the Challenge Hike)
One way to make this better would be dividing the Challenge hike by the amount of stops/rests.
For those people that are returning guests (in my experience it is half the group) they want to keep moving and don t need or want to hear the same information hike after hike.
There is too little hiking and too much talking and stopping.

The advanced, endurance hike only goes out three days a week and It leaves too early in winter months and there is no reason as the group gets back before the hikers leaving 30 minutes later.

Challenge hikes meet in the morning and guests are standing and waiting outside in the cold in winter months. No introductions are done at that time. On the warm van with your group, no introductions are done. It isn t until after you get to the trail head and get back out into the cold that the hiking guides explain a list of what to do and not do...drinking water, other issues and introductions are made instead of hiking! All of this could have been done prior to the trailhead (while waiting to leave or in the van) and I would rather add 10 minutes to a hike then stand in the cold again.

Too many of the hikes use 30 to 45 minutes walking back on the paved trail running parallel to the road back to the spa. Any guests can go out on Snow Canyon and walk that trail anytime of day. What they can t do is maneuver through the glorious peaks, and sand and explore all that is hidden in Snow Canyon. Vans should take guests out and back and the entire hike should be inside Snow Canyon and not on a paved trail next to the cars driving in.

Nothing I am writing here wasn t already addressed over the years several times to the hiking department. I only wrote this now publicly because I am moving away from staying at the spa for long durations due to the hiking.

I can take great classes in my home town and go to an incredible state of the art gym. What I can t do at home is hike in glorious Saint George and Ivins. The hiking program falls short at Red Mountain Spa and I hope changes will be made.

Private hikes are an option but the rates offered don t match any of their other rates. If three friends are going together it is exorbitant for each to pay high hourly fees for one guide.

I highly recommend Red Mountain Spa. It is an incredible Spa and 90% of what they do they are doing great. For those of you who go to Saint George to hike, the jury is out!

Fantastic place, great food, fun and knowledge able staff. Just go in knowing the regular hikes and bike rides will be fairly tame in difficulty and the RMR keeps a quieter persona. Perfect for truly relaxing.

This is a great place to spend a weekend. There are all of the amenities that you need to relax. They have probably the best fitness gym that I have ever used. They also have a great pool and hot tub to relax in. The restaurant is okay, but the only thing that knocked them down to 4 stars was the room. It was the strangest thing that our drawers, sliding doors and fridge would not stay shut. It is almost like the room was at a slant. The hotel staff though is amazing though, always going above and beyond. I would definitely come here again, but probably spring for one the villas. Nice place.

Awesome location and super friendly and helpful staff. I use some of their services and facilities but not enough to speak about the entire and very good selection. What did disappoint me about the place is the fact that they have limited hours. Restaurant is open till 9PM and last reservation is about 8PM.... the little store on-site is open till 7PM only.... Since this is a resort and a bit remote ....if you want to buy a snack, Gatorade or some small items and it's after 7PM....you have to drive 20 min to the town.... They REALLY should recognize the need for some vending machines (you can always stock them with healthy selection, no candy or sugary drinks).... but I did feel a bit "stranded".

Also - while the pictures and overall ratings are very high for this place - I think it is a bit dated to really deserve 5 stars....for me 5 stars means top of the top - everything is like new and well maintained....and yet here I did notice some signs of aging like caulk and paint pealing in a few places....Don't get me wrong.... nothing major and place is overall in very presentable shape - but it isn't 5 stars.

I would still recommend this place..... 4 stars is very good in my opinion and again...service and overall relaxed atmosphere are hard to beat.

Beautiful faculty, comfortable rooms and great food. We really enjoyed the quiet and the excursions. Our only complaint is that if you come back from an excursion and it s before or after a scheduled meal, you can t get any food. We also couldn t get many spa services, as most people book prior to coming. We didn t know that we should have pre-booked our services.

I went to this resort for Mother's day with a few friends and was quite disappointed with customer service. A couple of issues were handled very poorly and unprofessionally during my stay by management. You would think for a group to come in and spend thousands of dollars in just a couple of days they would have a better sense to treat their guests properly.

Location is 5 stars, rooms and restaurants are 0. Location near the entrance to Snow Canyon is cool but the rooms are worse than a motel 6. Tiny, dated and only have one ridiculously small window. No views at all, just dark and depressing. The space outside your room is community space so we had strangers sitting and hanging outside our door, and tiny window, all day. Maybe this place works if you just need a bed near hiking. But if you imagine a romantic weekend, taking in scenery on a private balcony, forget it. Oh, and the Restaurant has a warning on the menu, portions sized for your health . But the prices are sized for their greed. It was just expensive tiny, over-cooked, child sized meals.

Relaxing serene environment with beautiful views. All of the services we had were done so well and the staff were all incredible. The tea provided in the quiet areas were delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed the selection of the food as well. The only we wanted was maybe more options for the saunas but still a great experience

Red mountain resort is a unique and special property sitting at the base of Snow canyon Park in ivins Utah. The location is impeccable and the property is beyond special. The rooms are nicely appointed and the amenities are wonderful. If you are looking for half adventure half relaxation this is the perfect place. I cannot recommend Red Mountain Resort more! It's a truly hidden gem .

The hikes and other adventures were spectacular! The guides for these experiences were smart, fun, interesting, curious, warm and overall fabulous people! The other guests were also a real treat. The setup makes it really easy to meet others but there's also no pressure. The spa, the wide variety of interesting classes, the lovely rooms and the good food made this such a great experience that I'm already trying to find a way to go back.

I will absolutely be returning to Red Mountain as often as possible. I enjoyed a week of massage, detox (toxin elimination diet), swimming, hiking and meditation in the beautiful Utah desert/mountain area, and left fully renewed and refreshed. I loved the focus on wellness and outdoor adventures (hiking in Zion National Park was absolutely transcendent), and how easy the resort makes it to focus on self-care and nutrition therapy. I found it relatively reasonably priced compared with other destination spas. Hotel, dining, and exercise facilities were all clean, nicely appointed (not super luxury, but nice) and I found everyone to be quite friendly and welcoming. The surrounding landscape is truly amazing.

Relaxing and beautiful location. Maybe it isn't the fanciest of Spas but the resort is very laid back. Lots of classes and just a fantastic location. We rented a car and drive from LV, stopping at the Valley of Fire State Park. We also made a day trip of Zion National Park. So much to do in the area.

Yummy

I spent the day at the red mountain spa. I sat in the pool, got an hour massage and a pedicure. Everyone was super friendly on time and answered every question I had. The facilities were very clean and relaxing. I would 100% go back anytime!
