We stayed here when planning our trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon. It was a bit far but the resort was nice, lots of options. We did mediation as well and that was a new adventure. Very zen and quiet! Restaurant was not good.
Absolutely gorgeous resort. Only had a chance to experience a fraction of it as it was an overnight stop while driving from California to Colorado, but we will certainly be visiting again at some point. Definitely the best spot in Utah.
It had good service, nice staff and internet and was good for a cheap little hotel and very clean
Love this place! Can't wait for it to reopen on September 3rd!
Only visited the Canyon Breeze Restaurant. Very nice place, great food, and very friendly service. If the quail is available, it's delicious!
Spent the day at the spa and it was truly amazing! The "quick escape massage" included a spa lunch and use of the facilities for the day! An awesome retreat to soothe your sore muscles after hiking through Utah! Everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and welcoming. Angela is a very experienced massage therapist and I highly recommend her! She customized my massage exactly to my preference! 5 stars all the way!
Liked it. Great room. Beautiful views & landscaping!! Food was good but not enough variety at dinner. I was fine, but My husband had a hard time. Since We used it as our stay while visiting Zion, not as a weight loss or fitness spa. Staff were very nice. Loved the spa!! I had a relaxing body scrub & massage that left my skin petal soft.
Visit was during covid month11
Restaurant was okay. Outfitters was really good shopping for oneself and gifts.
Spa visit was 80 min massage with Everett, heaven is a good description.
Just go. Everything is top notch without being stuffy. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food is healthy and delicious . The view from the spa is second to none. The hiking is spectacular. And there's wine!
Love, love love. Best massage, great pedicure with color mediation. Sauna was perfect. Can't say enough about how amazing this place is.
We were there for a spa day and absolutely loved it.
Stunning chalet over Christmas week. Great views and nice fireplace. All meals low calorie and fabulous. Full gym, classes all day long. Excellent and relaxing spa. Even in winter we were able to ride our bikes into town and among various neighborhoods for a 10-20 mile ride each day. Local naturalist booked at hotel for a fascinating hike to observe petroglyphs. Fascinating trip. Would highly recommend this resort.
Just a beautiful place that lets you recharge and enjoy life. Beautiful views everywhere, delicious and healthy food and a lot of outdoor activities. Definitely worth the money!!! Cause who can put a price tag on taking care of yourself.
Impressive facility, great gift shop and well kept, prices for crossing the gorge on the bridge, gondola etc. too high.
The rooms are okay, but everything else about the resort is amazing. The food, the location and all the activities are perfect.
Best spa in the area. Beautiful location and friendly staff.
Stayed here for one night. Definitely coming back. Just wish I wasn't in such a hurry. They do need better vending machine options.
This is an awesome resort! Only stayed there briefly but I know people who used the resort for longer than me and they spoke highly of the activities. I do have one complaint....the food. New Age hippies are great at yoga, massage and such but should be banned from the kitchen. I think they pick out seasonings based on how they dont work. Healthy food CAN taste good.
Beautiful place with wonderful hikes and especially grateful to Carrie who guided us. The food was so delicious and healthy. We felt recharged after our recent stay!
Not very clean. It did not live up to the pereceived reputation. I hope not to have to go back.
In more detail, there was hair in the tub when I arrived and the shower curtain was gringy. I asked on a note to please not tuck the sheets, the note was gone and the sheets tucked. The ice machine in my building only worked on the first night and 3 days later had an out of service note. The laundry machine in the same room only took in hot water and nearly ruined all my clothes. One day a large blob of comet cleaner was left in front of toilet with footprints all over the place. The ac is so loud I could not sleep. The food is very greasy and quite repetitive. The restaurant pool people are very friendly but vegan ignorant. Proudly serving vegan bread with butter and cream cheese. Half the time the room keys wont open the doors to the pools. A construction site on the grounds didn't add any quiet time. Had to unscrew lightbulbs outside my window to get a little bit of darkness during night time. I was offered a breakfast menu on my 11th day of stay, none earlier, just buffet. The shuttle service to and from the airport are great and the guided hikes are quite awesome.
Great lunch buffet with delicious, amazing healthy options. So many choices you won't walk away hungry. Prepared from scratch so you also won't walk away with tummy problems. It is a fantastic place to take clients to for lunch or for a business meeting. The setting - you also won't find a better setting than the red hills of Ivins.
Unbelievable experience. Top notch staff, beautiful outside landscape, amazing view and calming ambience inside. My only constructive feedback is to bring a lot more art, pottery and plants to the inside of the buildings to help fill the area with beauty. The walls are pretty sparse and boring.
So clean, calm, the view is breathtaking! So relaxing in the spa.
Sagestone spa is a great place to get a haircut and pedicure.
Lovely property and amenities! The beds were a little firm for our taste, but we loved how quiet the room was. You could even hear frogs at night off in the distance. We were looking forward to ordering room service during our stay so we could have breakfast while we were getting ready, but it didn't start until 11:30am. No worries, though, since St. George has many great breakfast spots. Having a fireplace in the room was very nice, especially the jetted tub. The bathroom is huge and it's great having the toilet behind its own door. There is also a handy plug on the nightstand with 2 usb ports that makes it super easy to charge your phones at night. I recommend that if you are like us and leave your do-not-disturb sign up your entire stay, to let the front desk know. On our last day there, we received a courtesy call in the morning. It's sad to think that some people go to hotels to end their lives, but great to know these people actually paid attention and did a welfare check.
I was picking up my wife from work. I had a great experience.
Beautiful place to spend the weekend with my sweetheart! Excellent service
Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and lovely accommodations.
Didnt stay at hotel but it looks very tranquil. Ate at the restraunt and its just not my type of place at all. Angry waitress and cost of food exceeded quality and portion size. Girl helping waitress was very polite and helpful.
Seriously the best massage place! Quick escape is the best for locals! 50 minute massage and includes lunch!
The staff are professional and friendly. The whole area is beautiful, and there is plenty to do to stay active or to relax.
Beautiful place to escape, rooms and view can not be beat... but I thought the service could improve just a little bit both times I ve been.
I had the Diva for a Day last week and was SO disappointed! Two days after getting the facial done my forehead has completely broken out. They have new products the woman told me but clearly they are not working! I'm not allergic to anything and never have had this kind of acne. The food was also very bland and uninspiring. I am so disappointed and mad! Don't waste your money ladies!!
We visited the sage spa for a couples massage. The staff were friendly and the massages splendid. They have steam rooms and showers. There is a spiral staircase down to the massage rooms but a separate entrance from the outside as well.
Amazing time at Red Mountain Resort! Got the Diva for the Day package and added a manicure, body scrub, and wrap. Had a break for delicious lunch, time to walk the labyrinth, and a nap in a hammock.
Special thanks to Jackie, Sam, Alicia, and Sarah!
Great views of the red rock and desert, looking forward to coming again and taking advantage of some of the excursions. Get a villa if you can, totally worth it.
Beautiful views! Pricy but very nice and comfortable.
We really enjoy dining at their restaurant. They also offer a discount to locals so speak up! Don't be shy!
While planning a fall 2018 trip for a client, I worked with Tracy R. Tracy was patient, flexible, gracious and delivered consistent communication. I hope there will be a future opportunity to work with her again. Thanks Tracy....Odette
Booking a la carte is a great deal for a beautiful, sparsely populated resort.
We had a business retreat at Red Mountain Resort and it was fabulous! The conference room was perfect and quiet. The rooms for lodging were emaculate and very clean. The prices were very reasonable too. I would highly recommend this resort. It is very quiet and in such a beautiful location!
The location is amazing, property is very well maintained, but is constructed in a less modern style. The rooms are fairly spacious and have a full bath, microwave, TV, and many USB charging ports; however, the walls are very thin and you can hear too much of your neighbor's business. My second floor room was rather dark as it was located behind a covered stairwell, making it a little depressing and generally not well enough lit.
I tried the morning challenge and explorer hikes, both were fun and managed to visit snow canyon and a trail above Ivins. Both sets of guides were exceptionally nice and went out of their way to accommodate guests with mobility concerns. It was nice to see.
I attended many of their classes both in the fitness center and outdoor pool. Most classes skewed the difficulty towards the light side but some were of average difficulty. Teachers were generally very good about offering options for those with mobility or health issues; most instructors neglected to cover how students could increase intensity.
One area where they could improve would be to have someone damp mop wellness studio 3 after each class - as most classes are on the floor and the feeling of dust on one's hands during class is disconcerting. If my local gym (equinox) can keep the floors clean between classes, I think this resort can too.
The restaurant: the staff try very hard to be excellent and they are surely very friendly. Some areas where service needs attention are around: greeting and seating guests, bussing, and dinner entree preparation.
The bussing issue is pretty straight forward: several times the busser cleared most of the plates but left butter dishes and drinking glasses (glasses were expected but not butter dishes.)
Greeting and Seating: at times queues of guests would line up while the single greeter would help one guest. May I suggest the greeter ask servers to greet and seat some of the overflow traffic?
Dinner entree: I was so glad they had so many vegetarian options, however I was disappointed when they served burned tofu and just put the black side on the plate to hide it. I had to cut away the black tofu... It wasn't blackened, but had been described as oven-roasted. So I didn't expect any kind of charred exterior. Also the side of gratin potatoes was cold....
Rmr is really close to awesome just needs to fix a few things.
A relaxing and beautiful spa, and their one day packages are a great get away. The food is a great healthy and delicious, great retreat!
Experience an amazing retreat here. The resort itself is beautiful and it has many amenities. It has a serene feel to it that helps you detach yourself from the everyday routine. Located in southern Utah, it gives you access to all the southern national parks.
I highly recommend the place. Had no issues with the room nor staff.
