Pretty good. Service was decent. Portions were adequate. Would burg again.

We went there tonight June 23, 2017 to have dinner and my husband and I both had the ribeye dinner. IT WAS EXCELLENT!!! We were there a couple days before this for the fundraiser and my husband had the strip steak dinner, AWESOME!!! Red Knapps has excellent steak dinners. Very good food!!!

Good food, great wait staff. Will go back again soon.

Typically get takeout here and recommend phone ahead. If, by chance you don't or can't order ahead the wait has never been too long from counter order. The takeout window (in back) is ope Wed-Sat. You can still get takeout other days just go to the front bar. Great selection and they even have off menu items like (personal fav) Shrimp Diablo!

This is one that moved off the list after the first visit. Dark interior and awkward seating, average to poor meals. (Entire family was underwhelmed. I can speak only for the fish and chips - horrid over-breaded mess). Server seemed to have a phobia about removing and empty plate, bowl or glass from the table - which was undersized for four to start with and unusable at that level of service. Outdoor patio is nice, and pizza is ok.

Over rated. I guess if you go here you should get pizza. I was really unhappy with my meal.

The food was great and the employee's make you feel like family. We loved this place and will go back whenever possible.

Been eating here almost 20 years. Never had a meal I didn't love. I wish there was one in Chicago! Consistent, fresh, and friendly! Always delicious.

My favorite restaurant in oxford. Never had a bad meal yet. Eat there once a month at least, quality excellent best burgers

Would have given higher rating, but they brought the french fries 20 minutes after the burgers

Knapp Burger with cheese - hands down the best burger I've ever had. I'm always happy to use any excuse to head out here and have one.

Cobb Salad was good, their chicken noodle soup was a joke, I was sure it was Campbell's, but my husband said Campbell's has more flavor!
Could they smash the burger any thinner???
I guess it was too much to expect an actual bar burger. Disappointing.....always go by and wondered if it would be good. Now I can use that brain space for other things...

Went there for my birthday with 10 of us and while the food was good, service was great. The young woman that waited on us, solo, was probably the best server we ever had and in kind received the largest tip I have ever given

Their hamburgers are delicious. They bake their own hamburg buns. Great atmosphere when you eat outside.

plain ole regular menu, mediocre food. nice ambiance,lousy service both times.

Omg, Do you like well prepared food? How about the best Fish in the area? Just love the grub here. I always get the Chicken Diablo. Very tasty bowl of pasta with a kick. Comes in both chicken or Shrimp. If you are into that sort of stuff, you need to ask for it because it is not on the menu.

The experience was not the same at all. The food was subpar yet pricey for what I received, and the service was very slow.

Well priced, very good entrees, great pizza! A solid choice with a family that won't break the bank. It our go to spot.

Truly awful. Barely saw server, she barely talked to us, took forever to get drinks. Then when we finally got our food, my chicken squirted water out. As did the potatoes .the plate had water covering the bottom .It was disgusting. I barely finished it and she didn't even ask if anything was wrong. We paid and left and never have gone back. Amazing how awful it was since I went there in 2015 and had a wonderful experience. The worst place in Oxford.

I haven't been here in awhile and decided to stop in tonight. While I have read all of the nice things people have to say I cannot agree.

I ordered the fish and chips and boy was I disappointed. The fish would have been tasty if the oil in the fryer had been changed recently. The breading/batter was dark brown like it was burnt but the fish inside was cooked perfectly. Too bad it tasted like nasty old oil. I could go on about the old dirty oil and make excuses for the restaurant like "maybe it's like that on Sundays" or "maybe they change it on the fourth Monday of the month" but I'll stop cause I think you get the idea. Oh the fish was hot but the fries were cold.

I did get comped $5.00 And I should have just sent it back. So I'll take the blame for eating a piece and a half of the fish and two fries.
I don't think we will be back anytime soon. Should have gone to one of the many other restaurants Oxford has to offer.

I had the Knapp Cobb Salad. It was good. Huge portion for the price. The complimentary bread was delicious. Huge menu with a variety of options. They make home made chili too. Will definitely visit again.

Our server was awesome and real friendly. Food was super as usual. The only bad thing was a couple ants made an appearance on the wall

Seating is way to cramped, a real bar tender is needed, waiting staff was good, food was ok.

Great pizza and drinks! Love the mozzarella sticks too. Their bread is always fresh and seasoned perfectly. Service is great and there is hardly ever a wait to be seated.

It is a very rustic homey atmosphere food is very good and well priced. Wait staff is very good

Priced a bit high but I do like the food for the most part
