The food here is fantastic. I love that they have normal or scannable menus. They do not list a drink menu but are still fully stocked. The only thing I have any issues with is now that there are less people dining in you can really see how warn and dirty looking the booths are. It might be time for a refresh. But I would recommend going here and sitting on the beautiful patio. Try the fried pickles and their amazing pizza!
Very, very slow. It took 30 minutes to get a burger and it was not worth it. The burger under cooked. Service was nothing special. The manager did not care about the situation. We won't be visiting here again.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! That was by far one of the best burgers I've had this year. I thought Red Coat Tavern did a great burger but THIS one took me there! Presentation was phenomenal and taste was impeccable. Look to see me visit a few more times.
My daughter and I went out for Oxford witches nite. Had a great dinner. Great server, Trevor. Wonderful mangers too. Even talked a little Michigan football.
Got takeout dinners this visit...fast and pleasant service..specials are always good.
Very good burgers and pizza. Waitress was on top of things making the experience that much better. Will go there again and recommend to friends.
Very comfortable setting, and I like the decor. The fish I ordered was delicious, and the garlic butter cheese spread is amazing. 4 stars because our waitress was pre-occupied with chatting her friends, and was making some mistakes, especially with my money... It really stinks when the restaurant is great, but the server is that way, or vice versa.
I never liked the food. I got their best selling meal and that fell short. Very short. Everything was lacking in taste and very bland even the fries. The tartar sauce did not compensate for the blandness. I think some salt and black pepper would do the trick. But I guess I'll never find out. Next time I'll go for the salad, if there's a next time.
Great as always. Burgers are fantastic, fries are great, bread is really yummy. Service is awesome.
Had lunch with my niece today. We each had a Knapp's Burger and onion rings. Never can order anything wrong at Knapp's. It was wonderful as always. Both of us left full and happy. Very good.day

My husband, brother, and I stopped here after the Tough Mudder. We had really great service with Cara, and the food was really good! I can't attest to the whole menu, having only eaten there once, but next time I'm in Oxford I will be stopping back!
Meh. It's been going downhill quickly like a person with a terminal illness. Used to be better, it's almost like they lost the will to be good anymore and have settled for being somewhat average. I probably will not be back anytime soon and if I am, I won't expect it to have improved.

They have fabulous bread that I thought was complimentary when I asked for some for my friends, but instead ended up seeing it on my bill, pretty disappointed since I m a bread enthusiast and I prefer it for free

The food was great but the service was very slow 22minutes for a cup of coffee and 2 cokes another 40 minutes for a salad and a sandwich and a order of fries
Our waiter was a little forgetful but pleasant. Food was good. My family & friends seemed to enjoy everything. I would've prefered some different lettuce in my Harvest Salad & I would've thought it would've had a wide variety of vegetables but it was ok.

IT was horrible! We used to go there ALL the time when we lived down state. We had to be down there today for a Dr appt and thought we would stop. Their malts were warm and tasted like they had marshmallow creme in them. You COULD NOT taste any ice cream. The Red Knapp burger did NOT taste at ALL like it used to. WE were VERY disappointed and after paying over $30, WE WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!
The restaurant is decorated with super cool stuff - giant log ceiling beams, lots of animal mounts, chairs made from and a generally rustic outdoorsy feel. The food is good too. Our party of 13 got really good service, and we enjoyed ourselves.

Food was not very good. Buns were stale on burgers. Hair in food, fries were cold and soggy. Vastly overpriced for the quality.

Red Knapps never disappoints! Their pizza is my favorite. On evenings it can be busy, but I never seem to wait over ten minutes to get a seat.

Food was good. We ate outside which was romantic. Like being in a hidden garden. They should only use one waitress/waiter outside as many of the tables felt forgotten. After we were finally served the rest of the dinner was great.

Everything is good here but in all honesty I could just go here and eat the bread and still leave happy. I do suggest working your way through the popular menu items because they are all very well made.

I have eaten at all the restaurants in Oxford and Red Knapp is my favorite. I ve had the burgers, Ruben, and pizza. They were all excellent. If I had my choice of going out in Oxford, hands down, the Knapp would be it.

Service was slow and "uninterested" even though the place was half (or more) empty when we arrived. Food was bland/flavorless. Decor was outdated and the several entrance doors, but Host stand mid restaurant, made for a jumbled, confusing situation especially to us whom had never been.
Like most places like this, they have difficulty cooking steaks to your order because they use a thinner cut of steak and still use the same cooking times as a thicker cut and over cook it.
I love this place! It is a little pricey compared to the other restaurants in the area, yet this does not hold my family back to going here at least twice a month. My son asks to go there by name all the time too! He loves the decor. Fish and chips, pizza, burgers, EVERYTHING is amazing! You have to get the right server though, too. I think we had one bad experience with a server there and I never saw her again...I think that problem worked itself out =) We love Kayla and Patty. Anyway, if you haven't tried this place, GO! It's well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, great service. This restaurant was a wonderful place to have a last meal before heading out of town. The Cobb salad was enormous, the bakery of bread was warm and so delicious.

One of our favorite places for a great fish or steak dinner. Pizza is wonderful also.
Good food and atmosphere. My only complaint is that it is a very tight space. It is difficult to manuever and even your eating space feels crowded.
The usual five stars slipped this time. Maybe a new cook. Whatever. Pizza didn't have the usual amount of toppings, cheese wasn't within 1 1/2 inches of the edges, mostly 2 inches. As if they used the toppings for a small pizza on a large. They usually have great pizza. Today I would have liked a hot n ready instead. Hopefully, improve so I can get back to the usual 5 star rating.
Kids liked their pizza. My burger was good. My husband wasn't too wild about his rosemary chicken. But over all everything was good. Service was great!
As it says in the name this is a very american grill. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was wonderful! The crust was my favorite part. Also I would suggest ordering bread when you first sit down, it I'd some of my favorite stuff.
