Yummy food. First place we came when we moved and had their pizza and was so yummy. And their bread basket you can order (or comes with some of the food) is really good. They even have a garlic cream cheese dip you can order that's super tasty. Then we came again and got different things.I tried fish and chips and it was filling because it came with big bowl of coleslaw, that bread basket I was telling you about, fish and fries! And my boyfriend got a Reuben which was really big too. Really enjoy their food just wish they had a club for coupons or something would be nice

Didn't know they dry fish and everything else in the same oil. We only found out after my husband started eating the fried pickles. It wasn't listed anywhere that the oil was contaminated and he had an allergic reaction. I love the food, not worth the health risk.

I only go for the BBQ chicken pizza, and Mediterranean wrap, rest is mediocre.

Ordered a reuben and it had hardly any meat so I don't recommend that but the pizza is delish! Staff is friendly, prices are normal and even through construction and covid it was nice to go.

Red Knapps has been around a long time, I have patronized them for many years, and have never had a bad meal yet. They are usually busy, but have quick competent service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality food they serve.

First time here. We enjoyed everything from the bread, pasta, Ruben and cod sandwich, can't wait to return. Service was excellent too! And nice decor.

Okay place just Not sure why the gentleman that was cooking the fries and the onion rings was eating them as he was putting them on the plate ..... Don t think I ll return here after sitting in front of the kitchen and can see hands go from scratching head to touching food and eating out of the tray for fries.

Went here wil the ladies I play cards with. We had pizza. Was delicious, so cheesey!! Waitstaff pretty darn amazing. Left overs was good the next day! I will return!

Great atmosphere, and an appealing menu for a bar and grill, very diverse. Cozy outdoor seating. We ordered a large pizza, and were not happy with the sauce. Also, caesar salads were overdressed, too many croutons. Will come again to try the rosemary chicken!

This place was delicious, reasonably priced, and with a cool atmostphere. I took a flier on the pot roast and it was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Loved it.

Service was awful. Slow . Brought some of the order out. Vegetables were not served with the meal at the same time. No butter for the potatoes. Asked for butter and waited. By the time they bought the Vegetables and butter the rest of the food was cold. They weren't even busy.

They always do a great job on hamburgers and the mozzarella cheese sticks are the best! Tonight we up for pizza and they did not disappoint! We paired it with a salad and it was awesome!

For a great burger and a beer you can't beat it. Cozy atmosphere as well.

This is a great all American restaurant/bar. Great ambience. Casual dining. Great service. Food was good, not great but definitely worth going too. The town is very quaint. The menus choices are fantastic. Their was many items we were interested in trying. I would definitely go back.

Good classic American food. Served in an unpretentious way. The food was tastyand the ambiance of the restaurant was very conducive to conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I'll return. I appreciated the fact that the server was very attentive without hovering.

This place has really gone down hill! Mens bathroom was disgusting. I ordered a harvest salad and the lettuce was all brown and gross. I told the waitress about the poor quality of the lettuce and tried to give her the salad back, she told me to hold on, instead of taking the plate and having a new one made , she goes and talked to the manager, and comes back and asks me if I want a new salad. Manager never once came over and apologized or asked what could be done. This time the salad came back with less fixings, and the chicken was dry and gross compared to the 1st one. My son's burger was dry and gross , and not like what I remember!! The only good thing was the fried pickles. The waitress seemed out of it. She totally reached over my boyfriend's plate while he was eating, when she was trying to replace my salad, and never once said excuse my reach or anything of that sort. Very poorly ran!! Waitress was nice, but didnt seem very bright or with it!! They need to step their game up, and get better managment, and good, experience employees. The food is not worth the price, and the place seems dirty!!

A little expensive, but oh my God the food was fantastic. Not too busy, and the waiter we got was checking up on us regularly and very helpful for a group that hadn't been there before.

Food was amazing...so glad we drove out and it was worth it!

I keep hearing that this is the "good red knapps", well I'd hate to see the bad one. Server was friendly but the entire booth was sticky, noodles were undercooked, and chicken was both burned and cold? Wasn't impressed with any aspect of this place.

My favorite place for pizza and breadsticks the best on my top 5 pizza and theres a bar

this is the best chili ever, would drive across states for this lit chili. This is the yeezys or off whites or supreme or the migos of chili

The service and food at Red Knapps AMERICAN GRILL is so good. Different from the other Red Knapps. The bread that they give you is absolutely delicious!

Wanted to take my mom here for mother s day. It was buffet only. I d never let my mom make her own plate on mother s day. She deserves hot fresh made to order food. I m absolutely disgusted. Shame on you.

This is a good place, but more vegan options would be so nice. We ordered a pizza and it was good.

The bbq chicken pizza was fantastic! The service was quick and the waitress was friendly even on a busy night. If we are in the area again it is a place we would return to without hesitation.

It was a good stop in for a bite it was good food service was a little slow was a little pricey 40 for a large pizza and a sampler to sodas not to much o. The menu to chose from that wasn't pricy another couple had some issues with there meal and stormed out after a tiff with the manager

What happened to this place, it used to be better..I tried it a again yesterday the fried pickles where good..the burger was dry..the pizza was doughy and not good..its a hit or miss with pizza lately.. the bread basket is great...my son had the fish and it was good...

One of our top 3 places to eat in Oxford, MI. Great menu, unique decor and environment and excellent, quick service.

Late on Saturday night you were out of our first choices, but we never leave disappointed. Always great!

A little late on the review, but while Visiting from out of town, Red Knapps was recommended by a shop around the corner. Amazing food. One of the best burgers ive ever had. Unfortunately have to give this a 3/5 star rating because of my waitress, Whitney(I believe was her name). She was very polite, but her hygiene was almost unbearable. Her body odor made it so hard to enjoy my burger. Everytime she came by, I'd have to put my food down and stop eating. Her nails and hands were dirty, which made me uncomfortable to eat, thinking about how she may have touched it. I dont mean to be rude, but I just need to let it be known. I'd love to come back when I'm in town, but will definitely ask for a different waitress if seated with Whitney.

Fabulous Restaurant. I absolutely love their hamburgers and the Onion Rings are Beer Battered Yumminess and HUGE!!!

Good burger and fries. I had the Wildcat burger and a couple of Sam Adams. Our waitress was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Best food in Oxford love to come visits family and friends, followed by to go to the theater afterwards and the park, with a few stores on the way if there is time. All within walking distance from here so perfect location in great atmosphere. Pizza and Reuben are a most here.

Stopped in for lunch one day and was pleasantly surprised. Good pizza and good burgers. I'll definitely be back to try more, as they have a big menu to choose from.
Talked with a couple locals away from the restaurant and they said they've never been disappointed.

Nice local place for dinner. Good service and good food.

If our waitress Whitney would have checked on us after getting our food I would have told her that I didn't like my food and wanted something else. Instead she didn't check on us and was only working 3 tables. So I had to eat off my husbands plate instead. Then she comes to give us the check in which I then pointed to my untouched food and she took it off the bill but NEVER asked me if I wanted to order something else. Really upsetting and disappointing. Don't order the Brettwood grilled chicken sandwich. Its just bread and lettuce, the chicken is thin and bland. There is nothing in the sandwich.

The staff there is very nice but this is the 2nd time I've been and both times the salmon was bad. Not going back again.

We have driven past this place 100 times while on the way to visit my in-laws. We finally decided to stop to try it and we loved it. Great food, great service and a unique restaurant. We will be back!
