We attended for an educational experience. We were more than impressed with our visit. Can't wait to visit again. The children will remember the firsthand experience with the animals for a long time
Often take the offspring to the zoo - Tom now wants to be a zoo keeper! They also open up the agricultural college bits in spring for lambing. Well worth a visit.
Great customer service. Large range of animals for the price :) would recommend.
This was the Family Festival 13th May 2018. A great day out for adults and children alike. Lots to do and would highly recommend Reaseheath College for anyone wanting to study agriculture.
I studied a HE course here and have worked for them since too. As someone with Dyslexia they were more than empathetic in the class with the couple of things most wouldn t think about. The extra out of class support that is available really encouraged me to explore different learning methods. Knowing there is somewhere you can drop in regularly just to ask the simple questions makes a massive difference! Lovely location and grounds. Great place to study and work!
Phoebe and the staff had done an amazing job getting the competition up and running today. It was amazingly organised with complete adherence to social distancing. Well done. So nice to be back out competing again. Thank you
Great to see the lambing. We were able to stroke the sheep and cuddle the lambs. The zoo is also great.
Love my college! It's amazing and anyone should go! Love everything about it
I bring my 4 young children to the lambing each year. With every year they grow older they love it more, there's always new things to see and new experiences to be had. The general attitude of all of the staff/students is amazing. 4 kids can be stressful but nothing is too much trouble for any of them. One of my favourite family days out. Can not recommend it enough. The family day is great too, we will be going again this year
Always a nice atmosphere when my eldest daughter rides here and the competitions are well run.
Great place to go in spring for their lambing days. Nice little zoo to have a look around.
I am currently studying there and if im honest its the best thing I've ever been to , the staff are kind and understanding and I have learnt so much already im happy to be a student there.
Went to enrol today . My first time at the college. Very efficient staff and overall great first impressions
I would like to say a huge thank you to Mark, student services, teaching staff in agriculture and wellbeing team at reaseheath, you have supported my son through his first year with you and I know he's been a bit trying at times but between you all, you got him through it and for that I am so grateful ,I would also like to thank Sally in the agriculture team, she has helped ,advised and supported my son ,if anyone is considering reaseheath college, I cannot fault the dedication, support and experiences, reaseheath college offers
Fantastic large pond/lake on the grounds plus a lot of trees, excellent value for money.
Fantastic and amazing people there who you can talk to and a fantastic college
I Studied Bakery and Patisserie at Reaseheath. I food staff that teached me were amazing and very supportive, they had all worked in the industry which was great as they could share their expertise with us. I also lived in halls of residence where i had the best time, as there was always so much going on.
I'm currently in my second year at the college studying forestry and arboriculture and I can honestly say this college is so amazing! The staff are all helpful and enthusiastic about teaching and the industry, and they have a lot of wisdom to share. The practical and theory lessons are all so much fun and engaging. Staff are quick to help you if you do not understand and they definitely go out of their way for their pupils. During my first year I fell pregnant which was a shock to me after being told there was a high chance I couldn't concieve. I was worried about college due to the fact that my course is mainly an all male course but I told my course manager, Alan, before even telling my own family and he was amazing with the amount of advice and help I was given, I was even referred to a councillor! I cannot fault my councillor her name was Natalie and she was amazing helping me and telling me about her time as a young mum too! She helped me make a plan of how I can carry on college and even how I could financially too! The college was very understanding if I needed time off for doctors appointments or anything else and they fought for me when city and guilds told me to climb and fell trees at 5 months pregnant. Now in my second year I am receiving so much help! My head of department Jamie gives up his office every 2/3 hours to give me a private place to pump my milk so I can continue breast feeding... I am also given a fridge to store it and a microwave to sterilize the parts! I am given a lot of help with catching up on my work and assignments. I have even got one of the Countryside staff offering me to borrow her electric breast pump from when she had her children! After having my baby I now struggle, strength wise, to climb trees as I used to and they are very understanding and help me a lot with that too! Ican honestly say the staff go above and beyond caring for not just me but every one of their pupils. I am so thankful for my whole department who are just some of the most caring people I will ever meet.
Great place to come and study at learning support is fab and the activities that go on. As well as trips are all really good
