I love my church. And it took about 6 years out of 7.5 to be able to say that. It grew on me. Sadly, I moved to Davis, CA. Perhaps I will come back if it's The Lords will. God bless you all, Reality elders, laymen and staff. Our church has survived so many trials which gave the church more character and backbone! It may be large but you can fight for your fellowship and community you just have to put effort!

Finding Reality was one of the best things that happened to me since moving to SF. The church is full of young people and families. They have childcare for different ages and all the volunteers are just so so good. My son loves going every week. The main reason I go to, is pastor Dave. He has a way of talking and transmitting his message that just sticks on me. His sermons are so real and so easy to relate to, AND they are so full of biblical passages and other sources that I feel everything he says it's backed up. The worship is also something else, every person I took to church was moved or touched. It is such a powerful experience and such a beautiful community that I totally recommend it to everyone.

It's been hard to find a church in San Francisco because pastors try hard to entertain but there's no teaching using the Word, the Bible itself. If you looking for a church that teaches using the Bible, that ends services with invitation for decisions, and is a bit more intellectually interesting, then try Reality. Go to the various church websites and listen to a podcast of the service to check it out. You'll see most do not use the Word extensive or at all leaving the attendees Biblically illiterate. Ck church websites for samples so you don't waste your time. If you're not searching for God but looking for hookups or a church social club, I would not advise this church. People take notes here, actively pay attention, and not just absentmindedly come to do "church" for Sunday but come prepared to think thru their faith. Only drawback as others have noted is music- which is not singable most of times in very high key, and the lead male singer is a performer, not a worship leader. I recommend Cornerstone Church for worship down the street. Cornerstone has great ministry for youth.

Truly some of the best preaching in the nation on a weekly basis. Though I haven't had the chance to attend more than handful of time as a Santa Barbara resident I listen to their teaching weekly and it is truly some of the most insightful and biblically sound exposition of the Bible that I've heard in California. A solid place to join in to in pursuit if God.

Visited Reality during a mission trip in SF, and happened to have Francis chan preaching that Sunday. Def a church that would attract lots of young people. It was also great to see the church having a fundraiser for the Mission middle school!

really liked this church the few times I've visited. Very genuine people, great messages that are practical and relatable. Worship team is awesome. My only complaint is that the service is a bit too long for my liking. I rather not be at a service for almost 2.5 hours.

One of the most excellent and conscientious Christian communities living out the gospel in SF today. Beautiful, reverent worship service; lecture / sermon is challenging and focused and also a little bit academic for those who are given to studying to pursue a more meaningful understanding of scriptures.

The teaching and sermons are amazing and true. Learning from different views on how to be a follower of God and how to better ourselves. There isn't the usual judgement which allows me to focus on the positive. Come listen and you will understand.

Wonderful, spiritual place. Thoughtful. Loving. Free of prejudice. Only room for improvement: music, a bit more contemplative at the expense of shouting electro amplifiers...
However: Defeats all prejudices that secularism is holding against christianity. Thank you - SF needs this!
