A friend of mine introduced me to REIN several months ago.... It one of the best things that happened in my life lately! The education, resources, community and networking with like-minded has been the best part for me so far. Definitely very motivational as well. Looking forward to the rest of my journey with REIN...

Be careful, they do lock you in on a lengthy commitment for like over 1.5 years (maybe more, not sure). I had my membership on a credit card that cancelled (expired) and got busy because of unfortunate family event. They sent me a few warnings and sent my file to collection instead of workings things out. I mean what do you expect people to do when you pull those moves just to teach your member a lesson?

It is really annoying because as an active real estate investors and former member, they don't mind trashing your most precious asset, your credit. I also am surprised there is no law in Canada protecting consumers against lengthy commitments. One year would be fine, but I think their contract is almost 2 years which is really excessive. Amortizing this over 12 month at a higher cost would help your member see the true cost and give them time to assess if there is value in the program or not.

Shows you where the priority is and its bottom line and profit. Its just big business with upsells and everybody are just sales people / motivational type of guy (look at Jennifer, she is gorgeous on stage and bubbly - very much the sales type). Remind me of Dean Graziozi and Tony Robbins model. Its also a bit cringy and akward to see the CEO himself going after members and discrediting them publicly. I truly believe there is better ways of dealing with this than bashing members who clearly think things could be improved or value wasn't there.

Also, funny enough, the collection agency never called me. I wonder who they use, but maybe the management team should know the collection agency has made 0 effort in contacting me. I am even considering finding who it is to help REIN recover some of its fees as a good gesture.

Lastly, I would like to see a bit more diversity at the upper management level. I see a diverse member base but the management is not representative of the Canadian diversity.

The Real Estate Investment Network has been churning out amazing research and education throughout the ever-changing political and economical world during Covid-19. The lack of in person events have instead allowed for more content and even more engagement in real time at the virtual live events!

Used to be a respected real estate organization. Unfortunately, not anymore. Quality has subsided over the years under the new management. Don Campbell was the real estate expert back then, who practice what he preaches. He's barely there now after it was rumoured that he sold his stake at REIN. Sadly, he's now replaced by professional marketers, who are often are not practicing what they preach on stage, which was the primary reason why I had quit REIN. I would expect high quality content and coaching from a membership fee that s relatively expensive. It used to range $200-300/month + tax for a two hour meeting but I ve heard that they ve increased this fee even further. I had ended my membership with them in person on either the Dec 2018 or Jan 2019 meeting but was charged until June 2019. I disputed this charge but it looks like they don't care about their ex-customers. Be careful about REIN squeezing every dollar from you. If anything, they re a powerful marketing and sales machine, I have to applaud them for it. Overpromise and underdeliver is what they excel at. During Don Campbell's leadership, I felt like I gained value and had recommended friends and families to REIN. Unfortunately, I strongly advise against joining REIN now. My last few meeting with REIN, I truly did not feel like I got any value. I conveyed this to management but It was brushed off as if ex-customers feedback don t matter. I would instead recommend Real Estate Action Group (REAG) for those interested in learning about real estate investing. Amazing group at REAG. Alternatively, Tilt Property Group has a 'no-bs' coaching program, which I've heard numerous positive things about.

After 6 months of learning, I feel the cost is worth the product. Tons of archived information and helpful live on-line learning. The online tools and live workshops have helped build my confidence to dive into real estate investing, and I've made contacts with like-minded people. You still have to do the work - no one can do that for you. But REIN provides road maps, support and community.

Be very careful with REIN. They send people to collections even though I have verbally quit being their member, they still charge from Jan 2019 until June 2019. They don't care about their ex-members.

Hoping to shine this company s malpractice of sending people s accounts to collections. I cancelled my membership in jan 2019 but was still charged till june 2019. Sent to collections even though it was not a eligible charge. Talked to management but he seem to not care be careful of them squeezing every dollar from you. It s pretty much a bunch of professional marketers. Be careful! Do not join REIN

This organization used to be very helpful and accommodating for all members and none members. I have recently asked to cancel my membership do to personal/family reasons and they have denied me. I know they are under new ownership now and seems like there main goal is to sell you there products and packages and seem to be more concerned about there bottom line and not that of there members. Very disappointing in how my cancellation in being processed...
