Crazy place, beautiful view.
Staff very prepared and helpful, all excellent.
The price is worth the view, the quality of food and wine.

I'm from Verona, and I think I'm not mistaken in saying that this place has the best panoramic view of the city. This alone could be a valid reason to visit it. Of course the difference is made by the terrace, and therefore the summer period is the best. For the rest, the food is okay and the price is certainly proportionate to the place. The staff are not always helpful and accommodating, but not unbearably.

After the walk to the lookout point, it is an ideal place to rest and have something to eat ...
Weather permitting, you can sit beautifully on the terrace and enjoy the view ...
Service was very courteous ...
Of course, the prices are slightly higher than down in the city, but it's worth its price ...

Honestly, my opinion is a bit "torn" between the positive and the negative. The place deserves no doubt, especially for its location! Located in a beautiful area of Verona, just below Castel San Pietro and practically above the Roman Theater, from the Re Teodorico restaurant you can enjoy a unique and spectacular view of the city! For this reason, I particularly recommend dining there, especially during the periods of the year that allow you to stay outside, on its splendid terrace: the view of the city at sunset and at night, with its lights reflecting on the Adige, is magnificent. Regarding the restaurant itself, I believe that its "luck" rests mainly on this "geographical" location: the quality of the food, at least for the dishes I have experienced, is not exceptional; I did not say that I did not like what I ate, all good and delicious (hamburger of fassona, pizza) but not such as to be defined as exceptional. Good assortment of drinks (being also a bar, I think it is discounted), prices not cheap but not extremely high (however it is not a place where you can say to eat on a budget). The reason that made me start this review by saying that I am torn between positive and not is the general atmosphere that you "breathe" at King Theodoric, above all due to the staff and, probably, to those who manage it: I think they are all aware of the the fact that the place is beautiful regardless and, therefore, not everyone I had to deal with while I was there, referred to the staff, took great care of the customer. They didn't shine out of courtesy and kindness! A little snooty like "you came to King Theodoric, and this is already a privilege for you so .... Don't ask me too much and consider yourself lucky! If you're okay with it, that's it, otherwise go away so many customers I have galore and I don't need to be so kind to you "! I'm sorry to say but this sensation was not only perceived by me but also by other diners! Again, not all the staff behaved superficially or snooty but some of them (mostly men), yes! So, I repeat: restaurant 4 stars out of 5 but ... it could have been 5 out of 5! Don't expect too much courtesy and friendliness but ... perhaps the view of the city and the place itself compensate for the "social and human" shortcomings!

Great view of Verona with a cold drink. However the waiting staff take the literal view that you must wait a long time. Rude and miserable waitress. We left after one drink and ordered food elsewhere.

The place is pleasant, welcoming and elegant at the same time. Excellent food both for lunch and dinner, and as an aperitif. You can enjoy a wonderful view of Verona from above while enjoying real delicacies. Low prices even if above the average. The only "flaw" the service was slightly slow, however nothing serious. For the rest it is an excellent place, for any occasion.

Worth for the view. Place made formal by the style and decayed a little in the informal quality of the dish. We eat discreetly, certainly not to go for a good dinner, but a romantic aperitif ... Especially at sunset

After experiencing the new cableway thrill, we landed in this place with a dream landscape. Despite not having booked, the professional and very kind staff did their best to find us the table in a short space of time. In the front row, on the terrace. We tasted the shovel pizzas: really excellent, high, soft and crispy at the same time. Excellent ingredients, wine. Price a little above average but it is accepted with good will, for the atmosphere of the restaurant, furnished and divinely decorated, the service and the location, of course.
The only drawback: we realized that we were charged for an extra pizza, when we were now at home. Moral: to err is absolutely human but to check the bill immediately is a good habit!

Seriously? 28 for a beer, 2 waters and an espresso?! Someone is really taking the biscuit!
Nice view, but I wouldn t have come if I d have known I needed to remortgage for refreshments.

Stunning views and not too pricey. The staff are friendly and speak very good English. The wine and prosecco are of a high standard and they bring you a couple of bowls of nibbles whenever you order. The best bit is the view though, high in the hills, you can see the entire city, it's the ideal place to relax.

The restaurant is located on a hill near the famous panoramic platform of Verona at the San Pietro castle. The restaurant's terrace offers stunning views of the city. Panoramic tables must be booked in advance, and preferably a few days in advance, even for dinner on weekdays.
There is a separate area for an aperitif. But, passing by, I did not notice if there was a panoramic view.
Delicious pasta, burger and caesar. Nice spritz aperol.
As in many restaurants in Italy, pets are allowed here.
Would recommend this restaurant for a delicious dinner combined with a beautiful view of Verona and the Adige River.
But carefully check the check, they counted us an extra aperol, we had to go to the cashier to explain. For this I shoot a star.

First of all, the panorama is truly breathtaking. I was there at the restaurant full but the service was still fast the staff prepared and available for advice I had an appetizer of octopuses an excellent and well cooked cut of tuna I tasted a refined olive oil, as desert I had an excellent tiramisu then I drank a craft beer water a coffee is an exquisite RUM
* I was able to smoke a cigarette and still admire the fantastic panorama of Verona.

I add that I paid ONLY 40

Very bad experience. The service is extreamly slow. You need to wait about 15 min to get a menu, about 20 min for waiter to take your order. I ordered Aperol. I have to wait more that 30 min to get it. The waiters were roud, and when i came to the manager he said he can do nothing. Not even appologies. As this place has a very good view on the city from the top of the hill, the restorant just make use of it. "You are just one from 2000 per day", that what manager told me in my face.

Restaurant overlooking Verona and offers a magnificent landscape. In addition, the pizza on the shovel that it offers is something spectacular, then let's add that the prices are right for the quality, therefore recommended.

Breathtaking view ... Eat very good ... However, poorly trained staff have forgotten a course, and when I was paying I found myself paying for a barbecue that was not mine ... Yes, of my table but of another couple ...

The only thing that attracts is the view, otherwise very rude, arrogant and careless staff.
Both food and cocktails are mediocre and tasteless.
Badly run restaurant, I don't know how it can have 4 stars
Warmly not recommended!

Great location, good food! Well suited for eating out before visiting the arena. Since the performance starts at 9 p.m. and you should go in around 8 p.m., we recommend going out to eat at 6 p.m., you can get a table without a reservation, later it is rather difficult.
