I ve been living at a property ran by re/max for two years. We had four or five separate people handle our account/ property. We would message the property manager about an issue with the house just to be told they left the company and to talk to someone else. They do not contact you in anyway to tell you about the changes to the management to your rental. We recently had the old water heater leak ( my boyfriend told them earlier it was having issues to no reply) and had to shut off the hot water. We have been waiting on a new water heater for a whole week. They have been completely unmotivated and unapologetic about the complete inconvenience that was 100% preventable on their part if they took care of it the first time it was addressed. Do not rent through these people!!!

We have been trying to get a house from this company for over a month and still haven't heard a word from them. We put in our application 3 weeks ago. They won't call or call back when we call the office. Dont use this place to find a house. Awful
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! DO NOT USE THEM TO FIND A HOUSE!! Save yourself the trouble and stress it will cause you to work with an unprofessional group of people. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL. Any maintenance issues you'll have, it will take them weeks to come look at. And it still won't be fixed. The only time they ever work diligently is when they don't get their money. They're quick to TAKE YOU TO COURT if you fail to make a payment. These people are rude as heck and will never apologize when they make a mistake but expect you to treat them with respect. PLEASE CONSIDER ANYBODY ELSE BUT REMAX AT NORFOLK, VIRGINIA.
If renting through this company, getting anything fixed is a real issue. It takes months to get work done. We've lived in the place we're renting over a year and a half and getting people sent here to fix things can be like pulling teeth and we're constantly waiting and rescheduling.
