Purchase this threw Amazon from rds it was shipped with bubble wrap yes bubble wrap. Tabs were bent inward the port for the gravity was bent inward order a 37 gallon tank with locking fuel cap sent 33 gallon tank with no locking cap but charged for 37 gallon tank. The funny thing about this Amazon wouldn't post my review I wonder why. Thank God for Google reviews.
Sam, whom we ordered a 40 gallon fuel tank/tool box from is awesome. We had gotten a price from him, and when we called back to order the guy we talked to gave us a price almost $200 over what we were told. But Sam straighten it out. Went and picked it up, which was over 2 hours away. Put it on the truck today, so far so good.
Horrible customer service. I ordered a tank from an online supplier. First one was damaged beyond hope. The first supplier would not ship another tank as they decided to no longer sell the tanks from them due to poor packaging and many damage claims. The second tank from another supplier was cosmetically damaged but I was stuck and was leaving for my trip soon so I had no time to order a third. These things are shipped in a plain cardboard box with no inserts to protect the tank. I happened to be travelling through Perry Fla so I figured I would stop in to see if they could help me. The sales manager told me that he would work something out but a short time later, just kept telling me its not their fault as they ship them to resellers on pallets and then the resellers ship them. I.m sure that's the case but I can't imagine how a tank can be received by an end customer with no damage as it is so poorly packaged. Well, enough for here, I'm off to share my experience on the RV and truck Forums. Its a shame, such a great chance to delight a customer but a complete fail

Excellent customer service. I needed a tank for my 1994 center console and they adjusted their production specs specifically to fit my boat. The boat would have been a loss if it weren't for RDS. Nobody else we reached out to was able to make a tank with the same volume as the original, RDS really pulled through and saved us from settling for a smaller than OEM tank.
