Beware dealing with RAHIL RAZA. I was interested in a property on Ingersoll and made an appt. to see it. Turns out that property was not available to be seen as it was still occupied. Rahil never showed at the appt. but the maintenance guys were there and showed me a property next door that they were working on. I went back a second time to see an apt. that was going to be available later that day and it was the same floor plan that I was interested in. Later I spoke to Rahil on the phone and it was a good conversation. He requested a 'holding fee' for the apt. that was not yet available, but would be later that month. Like an idiot, on June 4, 2025 I sent him $2,249, without any paperwork. I then received several communications from him/his company that requested more $$ prior to move in. I responded trying to clarify why the first month's rent and security deposit was required long before I planned to move and the actual apt. wasnt even available for me to see. After a week of trying to clarify terms, on June 10 I called him and said I was uncomfortable moving forward and requested the money back. Mind, you, the property was still listed as available on Zillow and other sites and one could make an appt. to see it. He never returned the my money. He knew I am a senior citizen, living on a fixed income and that I needed to move. I was trusting of the wrong person. It would have cost him absoluterly nothing to return my 'holding fee.' The apt. continued to be listed and was occupied until June 15. I just want others to know who they are dealing with with RAHIL RAZA and beware. Dont be foolish and provide a deposit without a written understanding. Be careful.
