Lauren was my property manager.I had to break my lease and she helped me through the processes,Advised me of cleaners and was extremely quick to get back to me with details to get the ball rolling, as it was a very stressful time for me, she made it a lot easier.

If I was to own a investment property again I would no doubt love her to manage it for me. She is efficient and very switched on and extremely pleasant to deal with.

They Didn't do inspections on our rental property even after multiple failed rent payments from tenant who left the property completely trashed after moving out, while due at court for not paying. A years rent lost in repairs and they don't care. They were always changing who we dealt with, Will never deal with again

OLIVIA HODGE. Keep this name well recorded. She is a great professional. As soon as we handed the entry conditions report she made a list of the repairs needed and got us people coming the very next day. More prompt than this is impossible. She is very approachable, caring and comprehensive. Does the right thing by the tenants and the landlord. Very fair. We now can carry on living on the property feeling we are super well looked after.
Big thanks to Olivia Hodge. We, without a shade of doubt, would highly recommend her as property manager to any landlord and tenant.

After being property owners for a long time ourselves, and moving back into the rental market, it could have been a rather challenging experience for us if not for the exceptional service and professionalism of Allison Hayes *Property Manager Extraordinaire*. She made the transition very uncomplicated for us and still continues to provide incomparable service whenever we need her. Allison has a lovely, warm & caring attitude and when she is contacted her follow up is almost instant. She is the best property manager we have met and an asset to Ray White Runaway Bay.

They never returned our emails or calls, and they only fixed issues with the house weeks after we had told them of the problems. They didn't give our bond back, so we had to get RTA involved. The worst real estate agency I've ever rented from.

Although exact costs in the end were reimbursed, I could not recommend any agent that puts in bad tenants - police bashed down door 2 weeks after they went in, absconded leaving a newish, waterfront flat dirty and with cleaning and repair costs of about $1,400. The agents did not know that tenants had left, with rent owing; I was alerted by others close by. Repair and cleaning costs were despite the fact that after the inspection just a few weeks earlier I was told that everything was in excellent condition.

There should be no reason for a landlord to have to threaten to go to the RTA before any action is taken. Action was taken after this, in a polite manner, but NOT before.

I should have changed agents a long time before, as this was not the first problem. This was recommended to me by a few people.

In their favour, for the newest tenant they found them quickly and they seem to be ok. Earlier ones had not been found so quickly though.

I think if you have a decent place to let in the area, try another agent, to save you time and anguish.

Why still have a property advertised on Domain for...

Why still have a property advertised on Domain for Rent when it has been tenated out. If a property has been rented out the logical thing to do is remove the listing that way anyone looking to rent a property know that the listings advertised are ONLY vacant rentals. Disappointed in your lack of removing already tenanted propertys.

After buying my first investment property it took a bit of research to find the right property manager & real estate office to look after it.

It would be nice if they could return my calls or do their job properly. Both would be good. Thankyou since my first experience with Ray White Runaway Bay everything has changed they do Listen. A property manager rang recently a the dividing fence between our house and next door. This was weeks ago, quotes were supposed to be emailed. I rang her mobile left a message and also sent a message. No response. I rang the office finally got to speak with her. Still have not received any quotes.
Very disappointing.

From the outset Corine was friendly and efficient and exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending her services to prospective clients requiring professional property management.

Dreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful. NEVER use Ray White Runaway Bay to manage the Rentals for your property. The ONLY thing they did right for me was collect the rent... more or less... on time.
My tenants were allowed to leave my property uncleaned, 6 weeks behind in rent, damaged walls, damaged ceilings, damaged appliances equalling Thousands of $$$ in repairs. And I have had to dog and dog Ray White to do any follow up. They were not even able to tell me the process for recovering the loss of my rent after the tenants left. Save yourself the costs and heartache and pick another real estate ... anyone else.
Ray White failed to fairly represent me at QCAT so the tenants did not even have to pay for cleaning or repairs to damage. I have lost thousands of dollars because their incompetence

Inability to perform basic communication. Trying to inspect a property - 2 emails ignored, 2 phone messages left. Nothing. Can't lease what I can't inspect.
Demonstrates what I can expect as a tenant in an emergency. Nothing.
Closed on a Sunday? ..... stay closed.

We own 2 houses and are very well respected members of our community and the way we have been treated coming into this renting scam has made us absolutely disgusted. We've lost faith in humanity. We did our job as tenants for the time we lived there. We went above and beyond. Rent was always early and we cleaned the overpriced dump up as best as we could. Despite doing our job as tenants, the owner didn't do her job as a landlord, the house was a filthy mess when we moved in, fence was rotten and had pailings falling off and she refused to replace. Even after a dog came through the fence while my one year old son was playing in the yard and our dogs attacked it to protect him. We then had to pay the other dogs vet fees. No compensation was offered and still refused to replace fence. Things were done so dodgy they would fall apart as soon as we'd look at them. We had to take unpaid time off work to make the house at least barely liveable and contain our dogs without a secure fence (despite being advertised as secure for dogs and children). We had to take unpaid time off work so many times I lost my job and we had to move back to our old jobs and family in country nsw. And despite us paying a break lease and advertising fee, the property manager hasn't done her job as a property manager either. She's had 12 weeks notice, more than enough time find a tenant for that place and I know of at least one who has applied weeks ago but never heard back. The property manager told us she would help us, only if we took this review down. Which we did. Weeks ago. And if anything she's made things harder for us. We simply can't afford to keep paying rent for a place we haven't lived in for weeks. We are 10 days over due with rent for a place that caused us so much stress, money and health issues and now we are being threatened with being liable for compensation to the owner if we don't pay. If anyone is liable for compensation it's this real estate scam.

Welcome to the Muppet Show! I had the unfortunate experience of dealings with RW Runaway Bay, both in sales and with their property management team. Just disgraceful. Here are some of the more serious issues we endured:

One tenant s bond was not lodged or recorded with the RTA.
The lease was never signed or sent to any party but the tenants allowed to move in.

Believe me, this is the tip of the iceberg.

Once the money is down the service grinds down to a splutter and it s like they have severe allergy to the phone. They seem to rely entirely on email so expect a whole lot of gotcha moments and wasted money. Don t expect any straight answers if you do get through, I've seen better administration in a mosh pit. And though the buck ends with them, it ll probably be your fault - cos you chose Ray White Runaway Bay.

By far the worst I ve come across.
