Due to a change in plans I had to call and have water turned back on around 630pm. I guess this was concidered after hours and they wanted $109 dollars extra to get water turned on. Outrageous and gouging.
They dont ever tell you that the water budget goes up and down with weather. My bill was 50 dollars more this last month while using the same water using within 3% of the same amount of water as the month before. I have only lived in Temecula 3 months, but this seems like a super sketchy water utility.
I'm really fortunate to have this office near me. The people are always great, and the place is clean. Thanks for having a place that is beautiful.
The water comes out when I turn on the faucet and if I have any questions or concerns they promptly answer the phone. It would be nice if they had lower service charges for low water users. I only use $10 of water, but The service charge is about $60.
Worst customer service. Unecessary charges to your bill, lady in the front was absolutely rude and now I'm going to take this to court.
This company is totally corrupt and should be investigated and prosecuted. They answer to no public utility board of governance and do just about anything that they want including violating all California water code laws. The people that work there obviously know how corrupt the origination is because they will just hang up the phone on you during any dispute. I will be seeking an investigation into their actions and seeking indictments where ever possible.
Called to obtain the fax number. Cannot escape the useless phone menu. For that reason I have to rate customer service very low.
At the end of the day, Rancho Water is a business and they want to make money. They give you an extremely low variance for a large 6 bedroom home with landscaping in the front and back. They hope you don't catch it and submit your correct variance so they can charge you "wasteful" even though you have drip irrigation with drought tolerant plants and have not been wasting water. We made our home water wise with all showers, faucets, toilets, and our front loading washer. You gotta love when they make an error on their end and follow it up with "we will give you a one time courtesy credit". lol, really?? Your mistake and I'm reprimanded and warned it's a one time courtesy credit. An employee even said don't upset the woman at the front desk. Well from the website it appears there are many women that work there. So good luck walking on egg shells with every customer service phone call. Kindness and courtesy goes both ways. They make it seem like they are so busy and so far behind in work. Yea right.. I don't buy it.
You recently shut the water off for 2 days in order to repair the water system or whatever and now our water is murky and gross in our apartment across the street from your construction site. We have tried letting the water run for upwards of 5 minutes to no avail. What the hell did you guys do?
Absolutely the most rude people I ever dealt with. 0 stars if I could. Although I have a meter on site and I am willing to turn on service, they will not provide me with any written proof of service but instead want to charge me 180.00 for a letter to provide to the environmental department. This is completely riduculous and the environmental office completely agreed. When I build my own house in Temecula, I will be digging a well. Thank you Rancho for letting me know the kind of people you are and your rudeness towards me was as low life as it gets.
Absolutely terrible. They are using 7 year old pictures to determine water usage for landscaping. I tried to save money during the recession by doing minimal landscaping and they refuse to update their information even though it is outdated. I would have to sell my home to get them to update their records. Ridiculous!!
