Ranch and Sea Mangement Review

I happily came back to Ranch & Sea Management after having bought my house through Bart in Aug 2015. I am now renting my house via Carol as my property manager.

I am an active duty servicemember who discovered he was deploying on fairly short-notice. I needed to rent out my house for the first time and had zero experience on owning a rental property. Carol was able to meet with me the very next day, talk me through the first-time rental procedures, and ease my mind when it came to the rental process, finding tenants, how my home will be cared for, etc.

I rented my house out within 6 days. This was a tremendous amount of stress lifted off my shoulders.

Both experiences were terrific and the staff from Ranch & Sea Management was professional, easy to work with, and very accommodating to my short timeline.

Highly recommended, especially for servicemembers who want the stress-free, hands-off approach to renting out your home.

I'm a busy guy and the money I spend with Ranch and Sea is worth every cent. I spend maybe a few hours a year worrying about my property. Ranch and Sea has their processes dialed in and I'm very pleased with our relationship thus far. I've been with them for 3 years. I'd recommend Ranch and Sea if you have any property management needs in Southern California.

I recently used Ranch & Sea to rent my condo. Kim was amazing! The unit needed some painting, cleaning etc. She coordinated everything and had the unit ready to lease in a very short period of time. She then found a tenant who was able to move in the following week. What a great experience. I wish all management companies were this efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend Kim, and Ranch and Sea.

Kim and the staff have been very professional and helpful. They have a good web site through which the rent can be paid. Convenient for us and going to the downtown Oceanside office makes for a nice walk on the beach!

The move out process was flawless; cooperation by all parties led to a smooth transition and totally acceptable deposit refund.

The staff had always isolated us from the owners; our point of view and simple requests could have been ignored were it not for the prompt and professional liaison.

This is our first time having a property management team. Kim is very patient and answered all my questions in a timely manor. Very happy with my experience overall.

They answer your questions immediately and are very friendly. The property manager Carol is very helpful, she has excellent customer service.

What I like about your employees is that they respond right away and take care of your needs by answering your questions but it doesn't stop their. They give you other resources as well. Thank you for your help.

Our rental manager is Kim Robertson. We are currently renting a condo in Carlsbad and what we thought was a good property management company has turned sour.

Firstly, the rental was "ready to move in" 2/15 We gave them our move in date of 2/25. This gave them 10 days to make repairs and have it move in ready. It was not.
Things that needed paint weren't touched up. The cleaning job was awful. I expressed these concerns in an email to Kim and her response was that she had them out to the condo twice to clean it.

We are to be allotted two guest passes, these were never given to us. I contacted Kim in regards to it and she was supposed to handle it. After a month, we still had not received them.

Their vendor, Patrick, stood me up over 3 times. I took a day off of work, unpaid, to have him come and fix it and he said he assumed I didn't want him to come, after I had confirmed with him two days prior.

Kim has shown her true colors now. Instead of an apology or acceptance of responsibility, she rudely acknowledged my frustrations by putting the responsibility on me, for having a tight schedule. She also said she was never contacted with the issues. When I forwarded her the emails, her only response was, "thank you have a great day"

She was extremely rude and has poor customer service. Its unfortunate that we are stuck with this company, but after contacting her supervisor I am hoping something will be done. I will update this review once that happens.

Carol was exceptionally professional, attentive, and was available anytime I had a question during the process of renting my home. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to rent out your property.

We have been using Ranch & Sea Property Management for several years. They manage a few of our investment properties in Oceanside. Kim is our property manager and is amazing to work with. One of the biggest reasons we use Ranch & Sea is the simple fact that they keep our units rented with minimal turnover while providing high level customer service and accessibility. We would highly recommend them to anyone who owns a rental property and wants to maximize their investment.

There was a house that they listed and we really wanted to rent it. But Carol Would not make herself available. We started trying to get her to show us on Friday and she said that she would not show us till Tuesday. Well it rented and they then canceled the showing for Tuesday WITHOUT notifying us. We showed up. No one there. Nice. It was my birthday and we took time out and no show no notification.

Lea has been incredibly helpful in answering all of my maintenance requests and making sure that the problem is resolved and does not occur again. Cannot have had a better experience and am so thankful!

Kim, Maria, Staff and vendors from Ranch and Sea property management have been the absolute best, kindest, understanding professional property management team my husband and I have worked with. Everyone has been pleasant and quick to respond.

I was pretty disappointed with the way they chose to accept an applicant for a property, who didn t fill out their application completely, over our finished applications. Then ended up leaving us on the hook for whether the other application was going to be approved and the lease signed or not.

You wouldn't do better then Ranch and Sea management. They have helped on our rental property. If there is any problem they contact you asap. You will not worry for a second.

I went to view a property in Carmel Valley with Carol. I made an appointment that was confirmed that morning. Drove there 20 minutes where another prospect was waiting. This gentleman had driven from Orange county (an hour away). We had to call their office to find out the owner was looking for a different type of renter. Let me repeat that. I HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED. It's fine that the owner wanted a different renter, but it's rude not to let me know and make me waste 40 minutes during a work day. Rude and unprofessional.

They have great customer service and respond to emails quickly. I strongly recommend their services.

They have responded in a timely manner when I have sent them emails. I'd they were unable to help me, they would give me some resources and send me in the right direction.

These people are jerks. I called to check out an apartment I saw online and they told me it was unavailable as there were people filling out the application. So I left a number just in case. And two days later they contact me and left a message. I called back and then they said to come and check it out the next day. So me and my wife left work early excited to check it out. No one showed up. No one called. And when I called to see if anyone was coming they told me that the showing is canceled and it's rented out. And acted like they never heard from. Not cool. Would stray from ever dealing with these people. SCAM
