Just returned from a long weekend. My partners 60th. She was treated to some spa treatments. We had a lovely time. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. We had a superior double. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff very friendly. Set in beautiful grounds. Would visit again.

Reasonably priced rooms in very beautiful surroundings. The main house is very impressive from the outside, but the inside is in need of a little TLC.

Staff were mostly helpful, but some were more intent on rushing around than serving you.

The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were all very nice and clean.

We had a package deal for overnight stay and drink and meal voucher, celebrating my husbands 30th, and the main highlight of our stay was our evening meal. It was absolutely delicious, me and my husband both agreed it was the best meal we have had in a long time. 3 courses both had different things and all of it was stunning I'm going to be dreaming about it tonight

Lovely grounds, location and room. My suite was veet very spacious with lovely views. Staff were friendly but very slow service at bar (as in staff went awol for a good 10+ minutes!). Small but we'll equipped gym. Very warm and relaxing pool/spa (although pool was a bit shallow for swimming).

Absolutely loved our stay here and will go back again.
Plenty of parking first off, head to reception past a lovely little courtyard with a fountain and fairy lights to meet Liz at reception. Liz was incredible throughout our stay, had a smile and a lovely comment every time we passed and had tips and answers for every question. Check in is fast, we paid for a superior room and it was nice! Great size, nice sort of conservatory area you could curtain off. Bathroom was fab. Had all the amenities needed and a full info pack. We ate at The Walnut Tree restaurant the first night but ate breakfast twice and had an evening meal at the restaurant. Food was delicious (portions are pretty big!) and they were super helpful in terms of allergies.
The pool was amazing. Beautifully decorated. I heard good reviews from other people staying about the spa and gym but didn't use them myself!

I stayed for work in this hotel for 12 days. The room was very noisy as it was positioned above the main entrance and the garden. Due to the covid there was no room cleaning service, with insistence after 7 days they came to clean the room (in other hotels in newport where my colleagues were staying the room was cleaned regularly every day).
The breakfast was not a buffet but in the room, every evening I filled out a sheet with the breakfast requests but when it arrived there was always something wrong or missing, I never managed to get everything I wrote.
The hotel's laundry does not offer an ironing service.
After 12 days I changed hotels.

Stayed in one of the "economy" rooms in an annexe around the back. Was delighted to find a much better room than expected. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options. The only disappointment was no choice of eggs. Will definitely go back.

The spa/gym here has lots of equipment and a pool that is always crystal clear. Unfortunately it is in desperate need of some upkeep and refurbishment, particularly the ladies changing area.

Well myself and 3 friends came to stay the night at Cwrt Bleddyn and I got to say the lady who served us upon arrival on the reception desk when we walked in was so amazing. She was very friendly, helpful, happy and very professional, she was so helpful and helped us with our concern as we had learnt certain spa facilities was shut. She went out of her way to make up for the inconvenience and to make us feel welcome and was very much successful in doing that she gave us extra towels as there was 2 of us in each room and also baught us a towel robe each to our rooms. she even checked in with us before finishing her shift at 11.30pm. And the service did not stop there the rest of the staff was also equally as brilliant from the young lads behind the bar and who directed us for our evening meal to the lovely young girl who served us at our table with our meal and I ll be honest our table wasn t the easiest to serve as some of the guys was quite awkward. The food was delicious and the service very fast and they was very friendly and polite. I will say the staff really did make our stay amazing but the service I received from the receptionist is what shone through for me her name I m sure was liz or Elizabeth. She really is a true asset to Ramada/Cwrt Bleddyn. If more hotels had staff like this one I would be happy. I hope these people get to have some recognition for the work and service they provide and I hope they get told how great they are. Like I said they truely did make our stay so pleasant I will definitely be returning. Thank you all.

I'm in two minds about the Ramada resort hotel. Firstly I would like to say that the customer service recieved from the staff was excellent. The services and facilities available were great and the hotel offers produce such as shaving cream etc if you have forgotten to bring it along with you. On the other hand, the condition of the hotel itself inside needs a refurbishment. I had a superior room and the quality was not what I expected, Especially as the exterior is so beautiful. The carpet was worn down and even missing patches, in the bathroom the wallpaper was seperating and the wooden exterior of the bath was swelling. A refurbishment would make me come back, unfortunately, if I was to book another stay in Wales, I would book elsewhere.

I'm in absolute shock with the service I had received from here. I tried to book a spa day with afternoon tea for my family for my 30th birthday there was 9 of us in total.. I had rang a few times to enquire all fine. So when I rang More

I want to rate this hotel at 3.5 stars, but I've rounded it up as I think 3 stars is too harsh.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds, and the buildings themselves are suitably historic and well maintained. We (3 couples) stayed in rooms 36, 37 & 40 and they're lovely spacious rooms, recently refurbished but missing something in the way of character - some soft furnishings like pictures on the walls would make it feel more homely.

The staff were very hit and miss. Check in was messy, we'd booked 2 rooms originally on Groupon then added another room later, but rather than everything ready for when we turned up as far as individual billing for the rooms goes, instead we had to establish with the reception staff who was paying for what, and were then incorrectly charged anyway. The mistake was spotted and rectified immediately, but it shouldn't have happened at all. And bearing in mind we'd also booked some spa treatments, we should have been issued with 2 room cards from the off, rather than having to request then after we were handed single entry cards. We also asked to reserve a table for 6 to eat in the restaurant and were told this would happen, but when we arrived in the restaurant later that evening they had no knowledge the booking, and were borderline surly in having to deal with us, an attitude that carried on through the meal. The food was good but 3 of the party of 6 are vegetarians, and not only was there a lack of imagination on vegetarian mains but there didn't seem to be any real enthusiasm in preparing something else.

So to sum up, a few little tweaks, some decent training and improved processes, and awareness of customer needs and this could be an excellent hotel.

We held our Wedding here on Saturday 22nd Dec and we can honestly say we made the best choice of venue.
Right from 2yrs ago from booking Ralfe was on hand
The day went all to plan, and the expections where even higher than we imagined. The staff where amazing nothing was to much trouble The wedding breakfast was outstanding and everyone commented on how fab it was. A big thank you to the chef and his team!

I quite like this place although the food wasn't the best. They have a pool area and tennis courts but the courts need resurfacing unless you enjoy having no idea where the ball will go. The rooms are good and they have a nice selection of drinks at the bar area. There are some larger rooms with a little deck area too if you want to splash out a bit more.

Hotel was good, comfortable bed, pool was very nice.
Breakfast was ok. The food was nice, but service was a bit if a shambles trying to get a seat/glasses/toast/tea.
We also kept getting locked out of the room and had to keep getting our key card recoded.

Fantastic receptionist she really couldn't have been anymore helpful, was given an excellent room. Full gym, swimming pool, spa and sauna available. Great affordable food at the bar also, really can't fault this place.

Very nice setting, staff are friendly and helpful. The health suite is really nice! It's a shame the walls are so thin in the hotel rooms, you could hear the other guests talking in their rooms, as if they were in your room.

Service was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for reception and restaurant staff. The spa was peaceful and relaxing with plenty of loungers. Staff in the gym were helpful and accommodating. I have NEVER had a bad visit to this hotel, always had exceptional experiences. Thank you again.

Had a good night at the Valentine Dance on 16th Feb meal was very good ,facilities very good , the only thing the room we had in the attic was in need of refurbishment, shower leaked over floor , bed was sloping to one side and we both kept rolling over to that side ,

A really nice surprise, I only stayed here because it was cheaper than ones closer to Newport but I'm so glad I did. It's wonderful in picturesque surroundings, rooms are very nice as with character. Breakfast is lovely. I didn't use the spa or pool this time but I'll try it next time. Staff were also very helpful.

I would definitely stay here next time I'm in the area.

Thank you

Bed was VERY comfortable, and service seemed to be good from what little cause I had to call on it. Didn't have any issues with noise though was equally absolutely dead to the world! The spa facilities were a little disappointing, no private changing facilities and a bit cramped with lots of folk in a small space. People didn't seem to shower before getting in the hot tub resulting in stinging eyes due to a reaction with the chlorine (at least that's the reason I was given for it, the chlorine levels were tested and apparently fine). Food was nice for me, though I'm aware others that were served before me had the back end of the previous buffet serving which was said to have been disappointing. On the whole though, very nice and would certainly go back.
