Nice location and nice rooms, but.... where do I start? Checked in for a night away, the first room had no toilet paper. None. I ve never seen that in a hotel before. And then the bed looks like it was straightened, but that the sheets were not changed. And that was too much, so we asked for another room. The front desk was very helpful and the second room was just fine. However, this morning I went to make coffee and noticed that the disposable cups were from Hampton Inn (this is a Ramada). And the coffee pods provided were for a different machine and didn t fit the coffee maker in the room. All of this points to poor management, which can be fixed with better management. Geneva is a lovely town with great restaurants and a beautiful setting. Geneva needs this hotel to be better.

We were exceptionally disappointed with our stay at the Ramada. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a dump to put it plainly. If the hotel has been recently renovated, that's news to us because our room sure hadn't. There was a chair that appeared to be a 70's orb type chair, a couch in the living room that looked exceptionally well lived in so we never even sat on it. The bed was a king, but we think was installed sideways, I'm only 5'2" and my feet hung over the edge! There was basically no place to unpack our clothes, the end tables looked like office filing cabinets and there were 2 large desks with no storage at all. Good luck getting cold water out of the bathroom faucet, it came out hot and you had to let it run for 5 minutes before it ran cold. Based on the number of long hairs we kept finding in the bathroom (neither of us have long hair) we weren't thrilled with the cleanliness. Our room looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the rooms pictured on this website and we feel it was very misleading. It's a great location, but the accommodations are lacking to say the least. We won't be back. Wish I could post pictures of the real room.

BLUF: Stay somewhere else. Complete rip off at over $200 a night. Only reason it gets 2 instead of one star is the comfortable mattress.

Three star veneer on a one star hotel. All the 'refresh' efforts have been put into the lobby and not the rooms. Dated, tired, damaged furniture throughout. Vinyl, brown crocodile bench looks like something out of an adult film. Back of the bench fell off and was not attached in any way. Only other seating in the room is a chair that looks more like a Star Trek prop and isn't comfortable unless you're over 6'. No furniture or storage for clothing so lived from the suitcase for the whole trip. Safe was not bolted or secured to anything so kept valuables locked in the trunk of the car. Two out of four pillows had a weird cheese smell coming off them and had to be replaced. Contractor who did work in bathrooms should be fired - paint splatter all over the shower, shower door leaked because it wasn't caulked, and wiring for heated mirror was hanging and visible. No water pressure and shower head looks like a vintage piece from the 80s. Toilet did not effectively flush despite sounding like the pressurized toilet on an airplane. Window is tiny, framed, and obstructs rather than enhances the spectacular view this property has of the lake. Door doesn't seem to be insulated; all hallway noise sounds like it's in the room with you.

Entire building needs a demo and restart rather than a refresh to warrant over $200 a night. Will not be returning. Will be calling Ramada corporate to try and get a credit or refund.

We enjoyed our stay this past weekend! The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly! Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the lake. We also enjoyed a walk around the lake and through the state park. We also enjoyed a short walk into town with great restaurants! We look forward to staying again for sure! Thank you!

Very nice place to stay. Room was great. Dont have to worry about a cold shower. Only reason why a 4 star rating is because we had to wait so long for someone to check us in. Even called and nobody answered.

We stayed at this hotel as we were up here for wine tour. We decided to upgrade our room to a lake. First room TV did not turn on, however front desk quickly switched our room. Had a long day and was hoping for a good night sleep only to be woken up by loud talking in the hallway from maintenance & cleaning staff at 7am. We also like the dark to sleep in but curtains still let in alot of light.

Room was clean. Beautiful view from the room. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. There's a nice path you can walk or you can just sit and look at the water. Has a big parking lot. More than enough room for trucks. Will definitely be staying again when in the area.

Been going here for years and the front desk staff is friendly and always helpful. the convenient walking path along Lake is absolutely easy to walk and enjoy sunset and sunrises views. Rooms are clean and spacey. I use to bring my furbaby here sadly the pet fee is lil high priced so it is burden on the wallet.
