Once Upon A Child Scottsdale Review

Read the negative reviews. Drove 30 minutes to bring some items in. Stood at the counter for ten minutes while three employees stood on the other side SAID NOTHING. Not a greeting, not a "be with you in a minute".. Just chatting away to each other. So unbelievably rude. I was no more than five feet from the one girl the whole time and no one even looked up. Agree with other reviews, these girls are rude and must hate their jobs... Or love it because they get to gossip with each other all afternoon and ignore customers. Either way, it's a children's consignment shop with employees majorly lacking customer service skills. Won't go back.

Visiting Once Upon a Child for the 1st time. I recently became aware of this store when a fellow mom told me they buy gently used clothing and other items. So I decided to try my luck with 2 bags full of my daughters clothing that she had either outgrown or never worn. They recommend that the clothing be washed and laid flat. I washed them but didn t fold them. They said it was ok. There is a bit of a wait to get your items looked at. While one person was going through my items she was simultaneously helping others that came into the store. I would have preferred they let other patrons waited in line like they let me. But not too big of a deal. I had some really great stuff and some less great but the clothes and shoes were in good condition. They plugged in the items into their computer and After about 20 min they gave me a quote of $30 for about 5 outfits and 2 shoes and great condition. They gave me the other clothes back. My options were to accept cash or store credit. I wish I had known about this store earlier. Yes, I could definitely get more money using CraigList or having a garage sale. However I don t have time. This works for me!

Had a almost brand new Minnie Mouse walker. They didn t want it. I m black. You do the math. They have one just like it.

This is my favorite kid resale store! Great selection and ALWAYS SO ORGANIZED! The store owner does a great job at keeping lots of inventory and though this store might be packed full of clothes and equipment... it s easy to navigate because of her eye for organization and display. You will not be disappointed if you stop by. I always leave with far more goodies than I had planned on. If you have your fav resale stores... you have to add this to your list!

I thought it was great. The whole concept of reuse at a reasonable price makes sense. Very helpful staff, too.

Great store!
You can sell or buy used (most of them are in very good condition) staff for your kid.
Their prices are usually lower than the half of the original price.
The cradle swing I bought for $50 is going around $120 online.
I definitely will visit again

I absolutely love this place! They have such amazing lightly used clothes and such an amazing variety of clothing ! Would highly recommend this for everyone!

I ve been shopping/ selling at this location for 4 years now . They always have the best selection for my crew , organized by size. Pay out for selling is fair considering they keep their prices affordable. I ve always had a good customer service experience , even when they are extremely busy.

This is my go to for my 4 kids- dance clothes for my daughter and everything so need for triplets! Amazing. Best kept secret.
