Came from out of town and was happy about how accommodating they were. Great gluten free, and vegan options at the deli. Everything was labeled so we knew what was gluten free. They were open for us to get a late dinner. Everyone who worked there was friendly and polite. The food was tasty. Next time we are in Ojai we will definitely return.

I am grateful to have a health food store in downtown Ojai and to be fair the produce and dairy sections are fine but what kind of store puts half its bulk items in one building and the other half in another building and expects shoppers to run back & forth between two buildings?
Want bulk organic rolled oats? The Main Store stocks non-organic rolled oats I wanted organic so went next door to the "Warehouse". The Warehouse stocks organic "quick" oats and organic "steel cut" oats but no organic rolled oats (i.e. the regular kind).
When I asked, I was told organic rolled oats should be in the main store yep the store I just left because I didn't find them there
Why not put ALL the bulk oats in ONE BUILDING so shoppers can find the type they want?
Do we really need 4-5 different kinds of oats in 2 separate buildings? Really?
Want some bulk rice? Bulk flour? Good luck. Maybe it will be at the main store maybe at the Warehouse.
On the plus side, RB probably has what you're looking for but you may not find it unless you have LOTS of spare time to peruse 2 separate buildings and go through 2 separate check-out lines, etc.
Although I live in downtown Ojai I recommend Farmer & Cook in Meiners Oaks. F&C has smaller selection - but their bulk section is user-friendly. They carry everything you really need for healthy cooking all in one place. Hopefully someday RB will follow the example and fix their fiasco.
Very pricey but it's got nearly every health food item you would need. I love their cafe too. Absolutely love their scones, gluten free lemon cake, smoothies, and most of all, their avocado melt sandwich.
Nice selection for the size of the store, and since Ojai and the surrounding area is so tiny, kinda has everything. Yes it is pricey but produce looked great, and the items were unique and alot of stuff for health conscious folks. I came up here from my drive back to ventura from SB. Was looking for a very specific and "rare" wine, and they had one flavor left! I was stoked at least. I like their little beauty section also. The deli looked yum, but unfortunately I didn't try anything. The stock guys were super personable, not so much the girls at the register tho
I am a disabled Personal Fitness Trainer and have a wonderful Service Dog and I was treated very rudely by the manager and I would like to think that at a place like Ojai would be a little more dog friendly?

The hot bar staff in the back is always extremely rude with the exception of the gentelman, who has always been professional. Why pay extra to be treated like a piece of dirt. Management needs to look into edicate training for their staff, very disappointing. The woman litterly rolled her eyes when I skipped the tip due to here rude demeanor. Unbelievably insulting, get a clue.
Great selection. A tad overpriced, but then again it's in the middle of a touristy town.
Try the food court for dinner. The vegetable lasagna and korma is very good...and I always get a few smoothies.

Rainbow Bridge feels very California Hippy to me - lots of organic food, a decent sized vitamin supplements section, and a great cafe in the back serving healthy food with vegan options.
It seems like wherever you go in America everything looks the same now - KFC , Starbucks, Whole Foods etc. I love that Ojai doesn t have any franchise stores. Places like this give it a unique flavor .

I had a extremely terrible difficult interaction here rude condescending attempted to serve me dried out breakfast potatoes that were cold. When I brought it to their attention....we don't just give refunds. I am travel extensively this store have BAD vibes....don't give them your money. Cashier was hostile when I paid for my fruit...also condescending....WOW
So glad to have a nice health food store in Ojai. Staff in the health and beauty sections are knowledgeable. Staff on the sales floor are helpful too. Prices are understandably higher yet they often have specials.
Didn't realize for a while that there's a small room with cleaning soaps and bulk herbs and teas. Handy.
They also have a deli. (That's still open for take away during covid.)
Best deli/ restaurant ever! Nice natural food, vitamins, homeopathic, produce, packaged goods, dairy, dairy alternatives, gifts & much more! A must visit! It will quickly becaome a regular stop! Excellent, courteous & knowledgeable staff. Their smoothis are the best, bar none! A great restaurant inside! Don't forget to tip!

Good selection, friendly staff, indie and local shop. They also have a nice gift selection. Produce is sometimes a little tired, but if you go on a Sunday morning, you can stop at the farmers market!
For me, this place is more look than buy, and I'll rate it around that aspect - it's a very nice Ojai-feel store in the main area.
I love rainbow Bridge ! They have a little cafe you can order fresh organic vegan food ! The store is clean and it's a bit expensive cause it's a organic store but great products , although I don't buy too much organic I think it's a great store with friendly people who work there . Would come back again .

I NEVER write reviews but today was horrible. I had a horrible experience with the vitamin lady(D) at rainbow bridge. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I was given vitamins that had dairy when I asked for vitamins that didn't contain any dairy. I asked to return and was given a RUDE frustrated answer by the employee there. She was so frustrated with me and I asked to talk to the manager because she was that frustrated.... the manager was great! But this employee had such a bad tone..... SO disappointed.

If you work outside for a living don t bother. Our construction crew went in multiple times this month and the staff was consistently condescending and snotty. Apparently, brown isn t wanted at the rainbow.

From gourmet, hard to find ingredient products to grab and go hot and cold deli, this is by far the best 'mini Whole Foods' I have ever seen in any town. So grateful we have it right here in our little village!
Way too expensive!!! I believe they only get away with it because it is the only act in town in the downtown area. Ojai needs a Sprouts, Trader Joe's or a Health Food Store owner who doesn't gouge the customers!

Very bizarre atmosphere in here. The cafe is plastered with signs telling customers what to do, the staff was very rude, and the smoothie ($7!) tasted like nothing more than a mushy banana. Never again.
This is a great local deli and market. All the foods are freshly made with natural ingredients, and the produce is mostly organic and of very high quality. They have gourmet coffee beans you can grind yourself and exotic and herbal teas. They also sell natural health and beauty products, too. I highly recommend it.
