Dangerous, drivers have no sleep schedule, get called at random and are so desperate for work they take calls when sleep deprived. Rail crews literally make them pull over on long runs for fear of their lives.

The lack of professionalism in the Memphis branch management don't stand behind their drivers, was threatened by a conductor and engineer that was already mad at another situation and took it out on the driver, saying that they would get the driver fired. Well lo and behold they fired somebody I know. Shouldn't be able to keep people from working because they were already short handed as it is.

Signed from a concerned person.

Corporate staff not fair as usual.

Good day sir.

I did try to find a more personal means of communicating this issue with you but there was no means other than this, and I did want to reply as best I could.

The issue that I am referring to happened when I reported to your HR manager I believe her name is Tara, that the information contained in my letter of separation which was sent to the GA Department of Labor stating that I quit for another job was inaccurate. She asked me for details, which we discussed and then stated to me that she would make a note in my file but that Rail crew doesn't and will not send any retraction letters. I offered proof of my 3 month communications with our Manger here requesting work/more hours, but your HR manger was not interested in seeing them.

As a result my ongoing unemployment benefits were denied and have stopped causing me serious hardship. It has been 11 weeks where I have been without ANY needed assistance when I really needed it. It was bad enough that because of the covid-19 Pandemic, I was removed from my full time position as the primary 3rd shift hotel driver after 3 years of service when CSX cut back on RailCrew drivers on each shift.

This was not the only time I reached out to Corporate as I have wanted to submit a copy of my resume for consideration for other positions that I felt I might be a good candidate for on several occasions. I enjoyed my position with Rail crew and often worked extra hrs when needed. I know that I was one of the most reliable, hard working, employees in the Atlanta workforce, and expected better from what I thought was one of the best companies I have ever worked for.

They really need to train their drivers a whole lot better than what they do. Dealt with one this evening that wanted to play cat and mouse going down the highway and cutting off a big truck. Keep in mind I'm hauling a hazmat load. I sure hope whoever was driving unit number 118948 sure enjoyed his movie he was watching on his tablet that was setting right in the middle of his speed odometer.

Under paid, some yards have such seniority that the new people only get terrible shifts. Drive places do not even have management, just another driver that they won't promote to be full time. Surely you can find a better job than this one

So I was contacted for an interview for the driving position. Day of the person conducting the interview Sheila called me while I was on the way to confirm I was coming. The address she gave me led me to some sketch dead end road that clearly wasn t the right place. So I called her and got somewhat of a clarification on the directions. She told me to wait in a parking lot and that she would be there in 10-15 minutes. At that point she would ve been late to the interview but i m generally an understanding person so it was no big deal. I waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes before I just decided to not let these people waste anymore of my time. If they re this unprofessional during the interview process I could only imagine how it would be actually working there. I don t appreciate having my time wasted.

The drivers are usually awesome. The problem is upper management. They are the worst. They treat their employees poorly and have really no concern for true safety. They have a huge turn over because of it. Also their business model is horrible.

Avoid this company, even if you are looking to supplement your income. They'll be happy to "rehire" me if I send them $228.00 by personal check or money order.

When I inquired what this fee is for, no answer.

In my full time position I see people scammed, and people attempting to scam my employer ever day, gift cards, western union, on and on and on, nine times out of ten my team succeeds at stopping them.

As they have not responded to my inquiry as to what the fee is for, I am sharing this with everyone.
