Derek Conley Review of Railcrew xpress
Corporate staff not fair as usual.
Corporate staff not fair as usual.
Good day sir.
I did try to find a more personal means of communicating this issue with you but there was no means other than this, and I did want to reply as best I could.
The issue that I am referring to happened when I reported to your HR manager I believe her name is Tara, that the information contained in my letter of separation which was sent to the GA Department of Labor stating that I quit for another job was inaccurate. She asked me for details, which we discussed and then stated to me that she would make a note in my file but that Rail crew doesn't and will not send any retraction letters. I offered proof of my 3 month communications with our Manger here requesting work/more hours, but your HR manger was not interested in seeing them.
As a result my ongoing unemployment benefits were denied and have stopped causing me serious hardship. It has been 11 weeks where I have been without ANY needed assistance when I really needed it. It was bad enough that because of the covid-19 Pandemic, I was removed from my full time position as the primary 3rd shift hotel driver after 3 years of service when CSX cut back on RailCrew drivers on each shift.
This was not the only time I reached out to Corporate as I have wanted to submit a copy of my resume for consideration for other positions that I felt I might be a good candidate for on several occasions. I enjoyed my position with Rail crew and often worked extra hrs when needed. I know that I was one of the most reliable, hard working, employees in the Atlanta workforce, and expected better from what I thought was one of the best companies I have ever worked for.
