Radium had previously fitted two alarms for offices I have had over the years and were great. I was looking to get CCTV fitted at home and they sorted this out within a few days of my enquiry. Within an hour of ringing them with our initial enquiry they had an engineer at our house to listen to what we wanted. We then a had a very reasonable quote within a few hours and then a couple of days later it was installed and fitted perfectly. The two guys who fitted it were really polite and very obliging. Nothing was too much trouble even when they were struggling getting the app working due to a strange configuration I had set up at home on our Broadband. It was soon sorted and I would recommend them for any type of security system. This is the third time I have used them and would not now use anybody else.

Radium recently upgraded my domestic alarm and installed a CCTV system. Paul provided a very competitive quotation and once I'd given them the go ahead they were able to begin the work relatively quickly. Although it wasn't a straightforward job, Danny and the team carried out the work in an efficient and professional manner and I was very happy with the quality of the work and the job as a whole once they'd finished. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Been using radium for all my alarm and security needs since 2014 when i bought my own home, as my parents have used them for the last 25+ years. As it s hard to find people to trust and decide who to let in to your home, i thought i would write this review. They ve never put a foot wrong, and are always at the end of the phone to help. We have recently had a 4 camera HIKVISION system installed by Radium and I cannot fault the service. The location of the cameras was carefully planned and they were installed so as to minimise the impact on the look of the house.
The operation of the system and associated smartphone app was also thoughly explained.
I was also most impressed to learn that Radium replace the hard drives in the HIKVISION DVRs with better quality units. HIKVISION have a poor reputation for using cheap drives that don't last very long but this will not be a problem with the drives designed for CCTV systems that Radium install.
We have used Radium for years now and their products and service are fantastic - would recommend!

We recently had an alarm system fitted by Radium. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Another company had fitted a cheaper wireless alarm system a few months before, but we had numerous problems with it and ended up having the system taken out. After Googling I found Radium Security Systems website and was impressed right away. I emailed my inquiry and had an instant response.
The managing director himself, Paul Robinson visited us the following day as promised and did a survey. Paul was friendly and professional, he explained everything in simple terms with no pushy sales language and gave us a few options to choose from.
As promised the following day his quote arrived and we booked the installation for the next week. Ian and his team arrived on time on the day, they replaced the old system and installed all the new equipment in just a few hours. Again Ian was friendly, polite and left no mess. He tested everything and explained how to use it, which is so much easier compared to the old system and it looks super hi-tech but also very discrete inside all the rooms etc. The exterior bell box looks superb especially at night as the main panel is backlit with the Radium logo and alternating green LED's below, very nice.

Had originally bought a Yell Security system online. However having received a call from Karen @ Radium Security I decided to get a quote to see how it all went.
I should say I was a bit sceptical using a local security firm Vs installing a trusted brand like Yell. However there was no harm in giving it a go.
Entire service provided right from the initial call from Karen, to the survey carried out by Paul Robinson and installation carried out by their engineers was extremely hassle free and as per our needs and requirements. Nothing requested was too much of an hassle, which I think has been the main quality of this company. I will certainly not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Radium fitted a CCTV and full wireless alarm system for our home.

Radium have provided me with both residential and commercial security services for a number of years now. I have found them to be very professional and reliable. They are easy to deal with too. They are sufficiently large to be excellent at what they do yet of a size where you can speak with the same individual when it is needed. Price-wise, they are reassuringly competitive. After all, you get what you pay for and, personally speaking, I wouldn't want a 'cheap' solution.
I have never written a bad review about a company but after my experience with radium security I thought I had to...a man in his mid 60s arrived at my home to quote me for a professional alarm system. there was nothing professional about his sale tactics. he didn't seem to know what he was trying to sell me and also insulted my disabled daughter!!! I have since had an alarm system installed by a professional company.

Logistically they turned up at the time specified for the initial meeting (others didn't, even if they turned up at all)

Their quotes arrived when promised (others didn't even bother sending them out).
They were more than happy to work around our changing plans without fuss and because of delay with another part of the chain came back to swap out the temporary fix.
There was constant communication from the Office team throughout and the installation team were booked in around us and worked hard, tidied up after themselves and as the face of the company were professional and courteous at all times.

I looked into Radium, due to the number of people who had installed Radium systems, on the estate that I live. Paul arrived promptly, in order to discuss my options and ideas.
With having a dog, a mix of pressure systems and pir worked for me. I got my quote later that day which I found to be highly competitive. I agreed on the price and installation date arranged.
My new alarm was installed today. I'm well pleased, Paul and Paul, his son arrived on Q and completed the job in a timeless manner. At the end, young Paul was able to give me a full demonstration. They left shortly after, not before cleaning up througherly.

I just wanted to take the time to write this review. I rang Radium Security last week and Paul Robinson came out to survey the house. Paul took the time to explain the best system for our requirements and answered any questions I had. There was no sales pressure and Paul e-mailed the quote when he returned to the office on the same day. The installer, (Ian) turned up at the arranged time and installed the alarm in a few hours. Ian is smashing lad, very friendly, chatty and tidy. He even hoovered up, you'd never know he'd been. Radium at least provided a quote, unlike other installers in Widnes, albeit not covering all the areas I asked for. Their contact and quote system is convoluted, involving verifying contact details and viewing quotes online. Just send me a PDF to the e-mail address I contacted you on. They also seemed more interested in how I found them than anything else; to the point where I almost replied with a Let Me Google That For You link.
Just had my home security system updated by Radium, the engineers were very pleasant, polite and professional,. They did a great job, and even cleaned up after. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Radium to anyone who needs home security.
