All was great at the Hotel except for receiving an unjust parking ticket from Parking Eye even though my wife and I displayed a blue badge whilst parked on a hotel disability parking bay.

Disaster in the restaurant tonight ........ we were still eating our starters when the waiter who couldn't speak or understand much english just dropped our main course on the table and looked blank at us when we challenged him. Granted we didnt pay for drinks following an apology, but surely TRAIN your staff properly.
Also we didnt get the room we had booked, and had to go back to reception to ask for the airport view room we had booked and paid for.
Usually this hotel is awesome, today was less than average.

I was employed to work as a waiter for a private function at this venue. The way I was treated was extremely appauling and is unfortunately very common in the service industry. They hire staff through external agencies and treat them like they are less than human. Some of the managers here have no class despite the fake facade they show to guests.

A shot of life !!! Only for one night, in business class, at the highest price. All perfect. Dinner and breakfast in the longe .. A single small flaw, at the reception they told us that for breakfast, we had to go down to the ground floor, while instead, reading the brochure on the desk of the room, we discovered that even breakfast could be made in longe and that we had other services available, like the swimming pool etc. For what I paid, 254 per night, minimum information needed to be more detailed. Anyway I'll come back for sure next time. And I bring my swimsuit !!

Hotel was good, stayed in a superior room but was quite surprised at how basic it was. TV didn't have access to a USB peripheral which is usually quite common these days. There were food crumbs around the base of the bed that had clearly been missed by the cleaners. Pillows were incredibly soft which wasn't comfortable, but that's entirely personal preference.

Being kicked out less than 5 minutes after checkin...

Being kicked out less than 5 minutes after checking in and getting to my room was a novel experience I do not ever wish to repeat. My PA booked a room for me so that I could stay overnight and catch a morning flight from Manchester Airport. I arrived after a long day at work, checked in, got to my room and the phone in the room started ringing before I'd had a chance to take my shoes off. It was the duty manager asking me to vacate the room, even though I had just arrived, because someone else was now going to be allocated to it and that they had no other rooms available at the hotel for that night. The hotel claimed that she had booked it as a "day rate", which was something I had never heard of in itself, even though there was nothing in the paperwork my PA showed me afterwards. Apparently, a day rate is checking in during the day then leaving in the afternoon which, to me, made it sound like a seedy arrangement. I was unceremoniously dumped on the street just before 8 pm in the evening with no help at all to find me alternative accommodation. God knows how or why their system decided that the booking was as a day rate as my PA could find no evidence of it in the paperwork she had but at least we got a refund. One of the most appalling hotel experiences I've ever had.

Stayed here for the 1st night of our honeymoon before we jet of to Bali. Got to say the staff have been amazing. The restaurant is well worth checking out it really had a relaxed atmosphere and great food and cocktails. The room was out of this world extremely spacious with the biggest bed we have ever slept on and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommended this hotel.

We had a really great experience during our stay at the Radisson blu. The service was brilliant from the food to the customer service.we had access to the executive lounge and had a executive suite. We had a really great time. My partner had a facial down at the beauty and leasure facility's, which also has access to the swimming pool, steam room and gym. We will definitely be returning on the 17th to stay again.

So on entry of my room I went to try the lamp and that didnt work, i take a look In The mini bar & it was empty, so I went to phone reception, the phone was broken and as this was happening, a woman jist walked in to my room without knocking, saw me and walked out quickly.at this point I was annoyed, so I walked to reception, and I got no help at all, and the best she could do is send maintenance to my room at 10pm at night.
So I'm even more annoyed at this point, I checked the rest of the room, the bed sheet has something on it, there was rubbish under the beds. On this occasion I didn't feel, like I was being looked after or even care about by the staff. I dont know if we will return after this service from such amazing service. *********************************************

Elevators are not intelligent, waiting for a reasonable time to go to 3rd floor for check in,
15 minutes waiting at check in and only 3 of 5 counters open and other staff chatting in the back office, room service pick up in reasonable time and deliver as promise, attentive to detail, however I call back, so they can pick up the trays with dirty dishes, 1 hour later the trays still in the corridor, the toilet does not flush properly!
Good airport hotel to stay overnight.

I would give a rating of zero, if I could. We have just walked out of the hotel after checking in and being given the key to room 665.

We put the key in the door and there was already a couple in the room, undressed!!

The shock was awful. Reception apologised, but if that can happen to us and the couple in the room then it can happen to anyone!!!!

Be careful!!

This hotel is connected to Terminals 1 & 2 at Manchester Airport. My flight arrived at Terminal 3. Therefore, getting to the hotel required an outdoor walk to the Station, an elevator up, and then a fairly long walk on the elevated tunnel. Overall it must've been 15 minutes or so at my walking speed ... and no signage that I could find in T3 so I had to ask for directions.

The hotel itself is a nice airport hotel. My room was comfortable and very serviceable. The restaurant was good for both dinner (liked the fish & chips) and for the breakfast buffet.

One side of the hotel faces the airport. Those rooms carry a price premium unless you are a VIP in the Radisson points program. I chose the airport side and enjoyed the view. Despite being so close to the airport the room was very quiet. No airplane noise.

If I travel again thru Manchester airport I'll choose the Radisson Blu again.

A quick, covered walk from airport train station. Modern, large comfortable room. Fast check in. Free wifi. App to order room service or manage stay which is very good. Good array of charging and connection points. Easy covered walk to airport. Excellent, helpful staff. High quality, plentiful bathroom items. A great hotel all round.

A great way to start a holiday especially when on an early flight. The rooms are warm and comfortable and the staff really helpful and friendly. I noticed that the restaurant menu has been reduced since last year so we chose to have a pizza and salad in the bar. It was good although we would have preferred dinner had there been more options ( they used to offer curry, spare ribs ). We just love the bar. The atmosphere is so welcoming. Only a short walk to T2. Will continue to use this hotel in the future.

Ideally located, great rooms especially the Superior class. The staff are incredibly attentive, the service really is very good. If you need to stay near Manchester airport, this is the hotel you should use.
