The Radisson Blu Hotel is very nice and admirable and the reception was excellent, especially the professorship of the top quality in ethics and good deal.
We you go there. The area parkings is 99% of the time are full. The is a parking service there but if you are a visitor they will charge you 50 Aed per hour unless you spend above 70 Aed on hotel's facilities inside.
Historic hotel in the "old" Dubai, overlooking the creek. Large reception and friendly, professional staff. Pleasant dining area with internal shops. Room 629 assigned to me was sufficiently large, clean, comfortable and equipped with a small balcony. Positive experience even if at a significant price: 143 Euro for a double single use in October 2016.
Very welcoming staff. Rooms very neat and clean. Breakfast has a good variety. Enjoying my stay Close to shops, malls, and metro. Easily accessible Comfortable beds
Beautiful hotel with absolutely fantastic staff that were super welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were great and the hotel is super close to other activities and locations. Without a doubt will be returning here on my next visit.
Loved my stay here! I was here for a week for work and the hotel is fantastic. Check in experience was quick and pleasant. Their breakfast spread is generous, but gets repetitive. Maybe just a couple of variations here and there. Restaurant is decently sized but gets full between 830 and 930am. I opted for the superior room and was allocated the last room on the right wing on the 6th floor which is quiet and gives an amazing view from the balcony. They somehow thought it was ok to ziptie the refrigerator if a guest doesn't want to use the mini bar. What if one needs to chill water? Bathrooms are small for the amount of money you pay but is also we'll equipped. Indians don't stress, they have bidets (hand jet) in each bathroom. The entrance to the shower is quite high and senior guests may find it difficult to get in and out. There is a large size tv in the room that supports apple airplay mirroring. The bed is soft but my pillows smell weird. Despite changing the covers thrice.
Can you believe it this is Dubai's first 5 Star hotel. It use to be the Intercontinental hotel until the mid 90s when it became a Radisson Hotel. Most popular for its legendary F&B offerings with a wide choice of award winning international cuisine restaurants. Worth a visit to enjoy great food.
We did lunch at this place during our visit to Dubai. My experience was very good. Everything was perfect.....the presentation and taste of food....was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. So overall felt great and will go again .
Perfect location facing the creek, walking distant subways, eateries. Good choices on buffet meals, great view from the room some facing the pool. Nice large room space. Hotel interior never an eye sore, attached to smal stretch shops selling unique antiques, watches, custom carpets and many more.
Good and modern hotel. Quite large rooms with a small balcony. I like the lighting in the room, most hotels have dark rooms but here, the lighting in the ceiling makes the room very bright. Room has most amenities required, except in the bathroom where things like toothbrushes are not provided as standard, although may be requested. It shouldn't be necessary in a 5*hotel. The minibar is empty, can be filled upon request. Breakfast has a large selection of international and local dishes. The only minus point about this hotel is the service and attention to detail. Long queue at the reception counter that seems to be mostly manned by a single person. I wanted to change some Dhs500 notes that I got from the ATM into smaller denominations, after waiting for more than 20 minutes to be attended, I'm told that they don't have any change and that I may try at the restaurant. Really? no change for $500 at a place where I've seen many people paying cash?. Two times I wanted to ask something at the concierge only to find his desk empty, mind you , it was during working hours. 3 times I've requested an ashtray to use it at the balcony (1 to reception, 1 to house keeping, 1 directly to the cleaner ) and I've never got it despite being promised. I was assigned a table for breakfast by one of the staff. After I got my food, come back to find out that another staff member has given my table away... all no big deals, but issues that show a lack of attention to service by the staff and their management and that should not happen at a 5* hotel. Location is good, near the creek with plenty of cheap options to eat and a metro station around 200m away.
Nice stay near the creek as long as you are fine with busy surroundings and a lot of pedestrians. Very close to airport. Bunch of decent restaurants including Japanese, Chinese and Persian food.
