Radisson SAS Bergen Review

Probably the main highlight is the location. That said, the sleep was pleasant, the staff was professional, and the breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel and the location is just perfect..everything within walking distance. Breakfast was also great with a greate choice of various food.

Good place to stay, can't say anything about the breakfast because I left very early. They provided a bag lunch at 4:14 AM, it was quite good. I had dinner with a business partner at the 26 North restaurant. This place is extraordinary expensive, the cod we had was exellent, the side dish, a kind of labskaus, was not quite my "cup of tea". When paying the check don't dare not to "TIP" the waiter, his "politeness" will revert to deafening silence. Very nonprofessionell behaviour!

Room was OK, nothing spectacular. Shower water would be great for a few minutes then alternate between hot and cold. The room itself was a mission to get to, and we had to walk up/down a set of stairs to reach it. Wouldn't normally be a big issue, but when you're hauling luggage around, it's annoying. The saving grace for this place, and keeping it from 2 stars was the included breakfast.

Great place with great rooms and amenities. Service was excellent too.

Window barely opened ,so we had no relief from the heat. The locals assured us that the weather was unseasonably warm.
Kitchen wait staff were quite slow, however the food was adequate.

Only attended a conference here. Ok place, parking garage in basement (not free).

Service poor, room was not set up correctly, bath towel was missing, facial tissues was empty. Beverage glasses in the entrance area stood old and new together and looked unkempt, many details that bothered or negatively noticed. Cleanliness and staff were ok.

Comfortable, nice and clean :-) The breakfast is great, they offer gluten-free food. Nice location.

Over all I have been happy with my stay at the hotel. The location is good, personnel pleasant, rooms are clean and reasonably large. Beds at OK, if a bit on the soft side. Free fruit & biscuits at the reception were appreciated by this late arrival. What keeps me away from a full score are the little things that seem to be missing. The tissue box in my room was empty when I got there and was never replaced. The breakfast and lunch were weirdly laid out, leading to unnecessary lines. Little things that should not happen at a hotel in this price range.

Breakfast was amazing but rooms and corridors could be kept a bit nicer, also could be a bit more modern.

The service was excellent, especially the handyman who provided assistance with the in room coffe macine, the telephone that was not properly programmed and the drain from the bath/shower that was stopped up. The staffing of their outside restaurant was insufficient and therefore slow. A management problem, not a restaurant employee problem. Hence, the 3 stars.

For Norwegian standards, clean, good standard, great service, good food. Have stayed here twice, would def do it again

Very good location, nice breakfast. The internet connection was very slow. The service in the bar was not the fastest. If you request something in the reception, the chance you have to do it more then once is very big. Overall nice rooms, but the biggest benefit is the location

Convenient location. Clean and comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Sauna and steam room are a treat.

Perfect location - you can walk to all the main attractions in Bergen and the hotel itself was very good. We ate at the ground floor restaurant which had good food and a great view.

Unfortunately, poor indoor climate in the rooms, and blue shining lights from a panel that lit up the entire room at night. Otherwise good beds.

The hotel is very nice, the room far less than the rest. Even the fitness room is not up to expectations. Kindness and buffet breakfast are 5-star.

I stayed at this hotel in the business suites as I had work to complete on a night that required an internet connection. The hotel advertises free high speed internet, this is clearly not the case. In my total of 14 nights stay I never once had an internet connection sufficient to download small word documents. Upon making the front desk aware I was told the same story over and over again that the engineers would be in from 9 till 3 the following day to sort out the connection. This never happened and as a result I was left to catch up work in my own hours and having to stay late for many hours each night. The rooms were okay but the TV lost its signal quite a lot. Basically if you are looking for comfort with no means of communication/entertainment then I would recommend this hotel. If you are looking for somewhere with basic modern technology that works for business/work then try elsewhere.

Messy breakfast. Small business rooms. Best thing is the English voice in the elevator. We laughed every time we heard her.

Great Hotel, located on the best tourist area of bergen. The breakfast is wonderful, the rooms are clean and spacious.

Highly recommend. Reasonable price including accommodation and breakfast. Also the location is really good. The airport shuttle bus station is just in front of the hotel.

Comfortable and convenient, if you want to visit Bergen, push this room.

Went by here and grabbed a venison burger and a Gin N Tonic !! Lovely food and drink .... Highly recommended ...

A clean room, though, would have been very nice, too!

Our room was really exceptionally dirty. Dirty glasses in the minibar, clearly no vacuum cleaning done, paper signs ripped to pieces and black hairs(?) in the wardrobe, dirty socks of whoever under the bed...
I can t even think what s more disgusting...

Room in the ridge of the hotel. High room with high ceiling. A small window forms the contact with the outside world. The view? See picture. What do you think about it? In the end it can get worse with a view of a flat roof full of air conditioners. So .. a seagull's nest is also nature if you see it positively.
The staff is friendly.
The breakfast is extensive, even for gluten-free and lactose-free. But be on time because there is cleared off exactly on time.
The shower is great for shower lovers to wake up. Good jet with almost continuous hot water.

Very nice view. Good beer and food. The days ouside service was a bit out of touch compared to the indoor service.

Not good with big groups, chicken was undercooked, and didn't ask for allergies. People were served food that didn't follow their dietery needs

This hotel should not be a 5 star Hotel, they have very unhelpful staff, no Portal service and they don t even offer to help you in anything!! Their house keeping is useless, I would tidy the room better than them!!the room has no slippers no bathroom amenities and when we asked for them we had to call them 3 times to get it done!! Not recommended at all!!

The variety and chef who works the food preparation are magnificently magnificently.
The only negative note on the mini-bar service agent I mentioned was Boyckenig's evaluation of them.

Great place. Good service and the atmosphere is good. And the food tastes fabulous.

The rooms were quite small and a bit cold during the winter season. However the food quality, taste and service was very good.
