Good place, courteous staffs good food and relaxing environment

Best place middle of the city, business center, best rooms, food, and brand of GRT.

Good food and great buffet spread.. ambience is also fine dining

Felt like a home away from home. Very polite and helpful front office and housekeeping staffs. Especially good work by Housekeeping staffs. Excellent stuff by the Restaurant chefs. Hats off to them. Varieties of Indian and International cuisines, enjoyed a lot. Finally a grand place to stay again, always....

I have visited few years back here. At that time both food quality and cost was very good and reasonable. But now the cost is very high ( for a buffet Rs.1600 ) and the quality of food is not that great. The ambience also was not good. Pretty old sofas, faded sofa covers...or is it the new fashion...we thought of taking couple of family photos but unfortunately not much good pictures or location to take. For the money paid it is not up to the mark.

It's a very beautiful hotel , good tradition food South Indian . I really enjoy it rooms also good is a reasonable price.

I went for a meeting the ambiance of the hotel food quality and everything is good BUT, during the session happening in Emerald Hall there were two or more rats were fighting in the A/c vent with loud sound and could not concentrate in the session. Some time later their own staff in back room talking so loud in the kitchen and we again need to stop and complaint. These kind of mistakes will surely spoil the name of such a wonderful and more respected GRT Hotel.

Five star hotel with very nice ambience with very polite staff buffet was great specially deserts rooms were very specious and luxurious Room service is little bit slow and room service food was not that good.

Absolute luxury from the word go. Courteous staff, had a smooth check-in and the room was huge and spacious. Breakfast spread was humongous and delicious. Ideal for all kind of travelers, a very highly recommend hotel

Very good location. Neatly maintained. Smiling service by their staff members. Coffee & snacks were awesome taste. Their bounce back is commendable after the Vartha cyclone and heavy flood which spoiled their operations for short time period. We had gone to the bazaar...the all day dining restaurant for their Sunday brunch...it was pretty good... wasn't the best but they had their "ups"...the service was a bit flat though...cld be cos v went there a bit late...over all it was a good experience none the less

This is a review of J Hind restaurant in Grand by GRT Hotels.

Fusion food at its best! The menu has been reinvented to give us a Indian cuisine with many twists. Tastes awesome too! One can also find a dash of Oriental cuisine here. The staff is very attentive and handle your request professionally. The decor is funky and cozy. They also have some partitions to give your large group, some privacy. And oh, they serve you liquor too from the adjacent bar, Steam and Barrels. So, don't hesitate to ask if you are feeling tipsy :)

Meal for 2 (without alcohol): INR 3000.

Maintains Covid 19 protocols and adheres to SOP. Buffet spread was good.. Banquet team not adequately trained... Otherwise a good property

Pros -

Location : Right in the middle of everything - T Nagar. It's right next to the arterial road of Chennai - Anna Salai. And very close to the city's CBD - Nungambakkam. Ample options for food and shopping in the vicinity. And if you still have time to kill, take a cab to Marina beach.

Lobby : Grand, spacious, warm and welcoming. Indian fusion restaurant and 24 hour coffee shop that serves much more than cofee. The capsule lifts add to the glamour.

Room : Spacious, clean, modern, and excellently equipped with multi-port charging cables, vga port, hdmi port (for output of your laptop to TV) and usb charging ports. Bedside tables on both sides have a console that controls practically everything electric in the room. See photos.

Food : AWESOME! Breakfast has one of the finest and widest variety I have ever come across - domestic and international. The confectioneries are literally to die for. Whether it's native curd-rice, or the intercontinental donut - everything is cooked to perfection.

Staff : Polite, Professional, Attentive and Prompt. Right from the check-in, all the way till I stepped into the car while leaving - every single person has left a memory in me.

A nice place for stay and for conducting events. You have spacious halls for all your event needs and the food here is so good one should sure taste. The center of attraction is the lounge of this building it is so neat and well organized and looks beautiful. The staffs are so kind and their guests are well attended.

We went for team lunch at J Hind restaurant.The food spread where horrible and the time they take to serve so slow. Totally unsatisfied going to this restaurant. Chef and management had no clue how to manage 10+ people. Starters were served for few and few had to wait. Even having asked to repeat dishes the dishes never made to the table. After horrendous 3 hours came out regrettably visiting this restaurant. If you are a vegetarian please don't even thing about going to this place. The concept was totally ruined as none of the dishes tasted like a Indian dishes. Our entire team mood was ruined by the restaurant Avoid this restaurant at all cost!!
