Was at a function in the residences patio area. Always a decent view.
Was at a function in the residences patio area. Always a decent view.
This hotel has a very unique design outside, and unique, modern interior design. Behind the hotel is a nice urban park. The wifi worked well, but my T-Mobile cell service did not. There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. There is, however, no free breakfast.
Lovely! PS- right next to a fire station-a bit noisy but I would most definitely stay here again! The views are fantastic and close to many of our favorite attractions.
Room was very nice great view. And restaurant was very quick and food was pretty good. The onions were especially delicious.
It was a great experience. Rooms are very clean with a modern feel. The view is just gorgeous. In a few minutes from the heart of Chicago which makes it a perfect place for the weekend getaway.
This hotel is beautiful to look at inside and out. The staff has bent over backwards to make our stay here special. I would recommend the Blu Aqua to anyone going to Chicago.
Beautiful hotel with all the amenities. Attended a Fintech conference and the space was wonderful. Hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help, and the overall design of the hotel was beautiful.
It was a little pricey for me since I'm from the suburbs, but the drinks and service were really good.
Stayed here with my family during our Spring Break 2014 trip to Chicago. Hotel staff were very friendly and very accommodating. At check-in our room was upgraded to one with a balcony and very nice view of Navy Pier. The room has very limited accommodations for storing clothing so be prepared to live out of your luggage if you have more than a few days worth of cloths. for Our room and all of the facilities were very clean and up to date. The indoor pool is very nice but is a two lane lap pool with one lane reserved for people swimming laps and the other being an open lane. This is great if you are a serious swimmer but not necessarily the best arrangement for kids that want to just play in the pool. The in hotel restaurant is very nice but again not necessarily the best for families with younger children. Our only issue, which was quickly corrected, was getting locked out of our room even though at check-in we had been approved for a late checkout. The staff apologized and quickly reactivated our keys.
Great view but very disappointed with the size and layout of the rooms.
My new favorite Hotel in Chicago...Great Views, helpful friendly staff. Concierge staff was OUTSTANDING!!
Close to everything. Great customer service. Coolest balconies in the city.
Best hotel in Chicago. Rooms are spacious and modem. Staff extremely helpful.
Great service beautiful rooms and the restaurant was the bomb
Very modern looking and clean rooms. Great location near Millennium Park. Nice bar and coffee shop inside. Love this place!
Beautiful balcony view of the city. Attentive housekeeping staff. Speedy checkout was a plus!
This place was awful. The service was so weird. The rooms are trashy/tacky. We stayed in one with a balcony and the cement was covered in dirt so we didn t even use it. The carpets need a major update, I feel like they can afford that considering it s $200 a night. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but it felt like a motel. The bedroom lighting was not good either. The guests were awful too. We were up until 4 am because someone down the hall had a party and they were all out in the hallway screaming and banging on doors. When I called the front desk the lady basically told me to get over it. Like really? The pool towel I was given was covered in brown stains. So gross. I can t think of good things to say about this hotel.
Good business hotel. Compact but comfortable room. There s a sauna, gym, pool, etc. It s also within walking distance from quite a few must-sees like millennium park and must-eats like Wildberry Pancakes. There s a photo-ready waiting area that makes for a nice backdrop for all your selfies
Great location, central to downtown, friendly staff. I love this hotel. Beautiful modern lounge & excellent restaurant / bar. Starbucks in the lobby. Restaurant/Bar in the lobby. Delicious menu & creative cocktails.
The lobby is breathtaking, I love the vibrant colors! We got the salmon on toast for breakfast which was enough for two people, and very tasty.
Amazing rooms, service, and very nice place to stay overall
Underwelming amenities and setting. Beds were uncomfortable. Parking prices is a ripoff.
Great hotel for family get away weekend. So much to do. Breakfast is simply exceptional!
The room was nice, they tried a little too hard to be chic. Staff was very good.
So much magic happened at our wedding this year at The Blu. The locations all around the hotel are stunning for photos just as they are. The staff is AMAZING so helpful and happy. We never were in need of anything. The food people keep talking about! The Bridal suite is HUGE and incredible. Everyone in our party and family were just in awe of the experience they had here.
Fantastic service great location offers an excellent Chicago experience .
Very nice hotel, great location. Only negative is on site parking is expensive.
Great venue, we had or holiday party here. The service and the space were exceptional.
Very clean hotel with a nice restaurant. Location is very odd but extremely close to millennium Park which is super convenient. The only problem I had was the poor internet/gps connection, Wi-Fi seems like a must here.
Great views from my balcony. Able to see he cloud gate sculpture at millennium park.
My stay was Great! The view from my window and the outdoor pool was amazing. The housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room the whole time that I was there. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Chicago.
The service was okay but slow to process. May have been a lunch situation but it was slow. The dining environment was GORGEOUS and the food was exceptional.
Nice room. Service staff was in general not too friendly.
The hotel hosted the technology conference I attended extremely well. The lobby was perfect, with its fire lined wall, to check email and take a phone call. The art gallery and the Vivian Maier photos on the pillars is a great touch.
Five star service for me and my dog , Yes this is a pet friendly Hotel with a park located within a 100 ft for a quick potty break. Rooms are spacious, clean and neat.
Clean rooms, great outdoor deck pool. Underground parking is narrow and difficult to navigate around
Conveniently located. The rooms are neither good nor bad.
Beautiful well kept hotel with the right touch from it's staff.
Lovely stay at hotel, room was modern and comfortable, amenities, food, and staff were excellent. Price is a little high and would love to get better deals so we could come more often. Thanks!
Our room was located on the 8th floor and judging from the musty smells in the hallway, it didn't seem like the room would be as clean but it was! The views in the room are actually spectacular and the sheets were clean, so was the trendy, modern style furniture. Our room faced the buildings off Wilshire. One thing is that the rooms tend to be small. There is not a lot of room to walk in the room as the bed takes up most of the space. Also the walls were gray and concrete styled but it wasn't over powering as you had a large window facing the street.
Best place to stay in Chicago,,,this places even has a basketball court inside the hotel,,,my family had a blast here...
The food was some of the best I've experienced in a banquet setting. Service was generally good, though they were slow to clear the plates. Also, upon asking for a second drink they asked for the glass back to re-use. Probably nit-picky on my part, but a fresh glass would be nice.
Very modern hotel design. The bed was comfortable. It's conveniently placed to a lot of the great Chicago attractions.
Beware they charge you a "urban fee" but will not inform you whether you book directly or a 3rd party. Great location and nice gym. Parking is pricey and weary of hidden fees otherwise decent accommodations.
It was ok. Not very clean the windows were so dirty that it made the view not look great at all. The balcony was dirty. The outside was full of spider webs. Was so disappointed because we paid $300 for this room. The inside was basic I ve been in better rooms for $300.
Here for a wedding, amenities were amazing. Excellent service, clean, accommodating friendly staff.
Central. Nice hotel with nice amenities. Rooms are in good shape.
Very classy flagship Radisson hotel. Great leisure facilities and a really nice Executive Lounge for those who qualify for access. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chicago!
My husband and I booked the ambassador king suite for our honeymoon. We only stayed one night. We spent over $500 on this room for the night and left feeling pretty disappointed. The staff was friendly, so that was not the issue. However, there was only one washcloth in the room, only one robe and no slippers (as advertised with such an expensive room), there was an empty water bottle left in the room, there was only one single disposable coffee cup, there was a bunch of hair underneath the bathroom trash can (which I accidentally knocked over & noticed it), only one complimentary bottle of water (again, advertised with the room that we would have water bottles), and it just overall was NOT worth the money at all. This was really a disappointment as this was our one night that we had to get away to spend our honeymoon. We wish the room would have been actually stocked, as well as cleaned. We ve unfortunately had a better experience at a motel.
Nice building. Mediocre everything else, from the rooms, to the service, to the views, which are not there because the hotel does not go beyond the eighteenth floor and the buildings around it occlude. Definitely not worth the money
Staying at the Radisson Blu Aqua was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the concierge Al, who blew our minds. Very kind. Always remembered who we were. Always had a smile on his face. Got us a cab. Made suggestions. He was an amazing part of our stay. A reason we will be back. The location was perfect. Walking distance from every major attraction. The room was really nice. Smaller than I thought it would be, but nice non the less. Over all, I'm very happy with our stay! We will be coming back again.
They charged our card without telling us for the pool and the gym. And won t give us a refund. The amenities and we didn t even use them. I asked to talk to the manager and the lady told me she was the manager but couldn t help me she was very rude.
Room services did not cook, the foot. Chicken tenders
Great property! Great view, location beside Millennium Park, staff, clean room. The bar was a little too bright, I am certain I could have appeared more attractive at 50% brightness.
Area felt safe, near other hotels, restaurants, and I love that a CVS is next door (plus they sell booze). Fire department nearby as well, don't worry NOT a noise issue.
Indoor pool and a great sitting area outside. My only 'gripe' was that the elevator required a key.
Great hotel. Great service.. Marta Kozlowska is one of the best. Also thanks to Anthony on night duty.
Beautiful scenery in the Heart of downtown perfect place for your family or just for you and your spouse ..i loved it
