I came to NY for my 30th birthday from London and I didn't have my passport on me as it was the only ID I had and didn't want to risk losing it. Manager didn't even listen to what I had to say and refused to let us in.
Absolutely appalling service. Their loss... spent our money elsewhere. I think NYC is missing a trick and I'm still to experience this good old hospitality that Americans are supposed to portray...

This place is so fun!! Get the German IPA and their soft pretzel. The pretzel is $10 and can feed two people! It's huge and sooo amazing. Their sausage is good too, but seriously, try the pretzel.

Takes itself too seriously as a Biergarten to be enjoyable in it s own right. I m sure with the right crowd this place would be a good amount of fun, but not worth the trip for day drinking.

Pretty cool joint in Brooklyn for drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. I can imagine that it can be hard to get a beer here at times and food is good, but not as good as perhaps more authentic German food joints.

Delicious German beer selection, but seemed to be out of quite a few selections we tried to make. Great indoor/outdoor space for large groups and the live music was good too. The pretzel I have to admit was disappointing, it didn't taste very fresh and was kind of burned. Friendly staff - will definitely be back!

Excellent German beer garden, Can get very crowded but it is part of its charm. Plenty of beers to go around. I usually never order of the menu and go directly to the back where they have a grill with amazing burgers and some good sausages.

This restaurant is my favored. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very chummy and the cuisine they cook is so flavorful. I never decline to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

This place has become our new favorite beer garden! Our server (Jonah) was fabulous! He treated a group of 7 of us so great! We got the pretzel and it was delicious. We arrived at around 1:00 on a Sunday and it wasn t packed so we were seated right away. By 2:30 it was packed and people had to stand in some areas so maybe arrive a little earlier than that if you want to sit. But definitely a great experience and I know I ll be back

Yes, it's a beer hall, but I think it has a lot more character than most other beer halls. Maybe I've grown attached to this place due to this being my first here, but it's still pretty great. You can find this place split up into about three sections.

The first, which is where you might find yourself when you enter the place from the front (after being carded), is a nice quaint place where it might seem a bit more appropriate for a "first date". The bar has a nice setup and adds to the decor. The second area is off to the side and has the look and feel of a traditional beer hall with long wooden benches and tables. The third section is in the back and is more of an extension of the beer hall, but is closed off sometimes if it's not packed. There is a traditional menu with a great cheese plate and a fantastic pretzel and then there is grill (cash only) with all the sausage, burgers and fries you might be hankering for after a long stay.

Just a side note, if you are a mustard lover, like myself, this place is going to be for you. They have several different mustards for your tasting pleasure and you might even find yourself bringing a small jar on your next trip.

Brunch wasn t bad but it wasn t really worth the price. We only went because Egg (next door) had an hour long wait. The fritatta was nothing special, though the bread for the curried chicken sandwiches was good.

Great selection of beer and excellent german food make this a favorite especially for large groups (Seating is rarely an issue). Main concern for me has been that the staff is consistently a bit slow to take orders. I'm used to bierhalls that have tons of staff bringing beer consistently and checking in on people reliably. At Radegast that has not been my experience.

Great beer and location. Slow to serve, and they make it impossible to know what they have - the menus are like a trade secret, the staff grab them away as soon as you order if you manage to find a laminated one and the board is unreadable. Very confusing what their goal is with this. Also, very slow. More showy than anything.

Not much to add this place stands up to it's name. It is by far the best European Beer selection, properly cooled not ice cold so you can actually enjoy it. Food is amazing here as well. Aesthetics are fantastic and atmosphere and people always at its best. Not many place like it.

Large selection of beers and good food (pretzel, sausages). Communal tables, so you kinda have to fight for a spot when it's busy. And it's crazy busy on the weekend. Very very loud, so if that's not your thing, don't go there.

Possibly my favorite place in all the Five Boros. It was like nirvana when I discovered this place. When friends come in from out of town or abroad this is where I bring them. Sometimes the entertainment can be mind blowing. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Long, communal wooden tables ala real beir kellers so you can get to make new friends. Highly, highly recommended

Food was super delicious, beer amazing and we had a blast dancing all night long... In addition our waitress was super helpful, professional and nice. Place was crowded and noisy but we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Noisy, crowded, questionable quality of food.

Noisy, crowded, questionable quality of food.
Bad service, they asked us if we wanted to order multiple times but they had trouble with serving water, at the end we had to share one mug of water in two.
During my visit the place was dominated by a mix of rude bros and hipsters. Just not my cup of tea, but probably great for people who love beer, big tables and a certain kind of biergarten aesthetics.

Free and noisy atmosphere. I went to dinner only and ate mainly on snacks. The taste of tempura was not bad. There are many types of beer, so it would be good to taste them one by one. It seems to be a great place to play as a group.

Dope place to go with a friend or group of freidns/family. They offer a nice variety of Polish food and sausages ! Their selection of beers and other drinks are good too. Great mood and vibes to this place. Definitely recommend if you're out in Williamsburg sometime.
