Enjoyed two excellent lunches with good friends. Very friendly atmosphere in both the Big Room and dining room.

Very prestige and good course. Everyone is nice and the historic attributes makes it look cool

The first and famous golf club of the world.
Being here is something very special for every golfer. The old square is superbly situated between a row of historic houses and the surf of the sea. The new square is adjacent. For a game it is important to reserve in advance. The waiting time can be shortened wonderfully in the very romantic little university town of St. Andrews.

Everything you see on TV but much more. History, beauty and grace, even in horrible conditions. Was worth the 2.5 hour drive to be on course. Pro shop at site was excellent.

Dunhill Masters fans us like we all travel from Teesside to Dundee and wifey and young uns go charity shopping whilst rest of us follow less popular golfers about on freebie in days. Well behaved dogs also allowed by the way. Love Scotland me like sometimes i even feel like giving the speed traps a cuddle. We stay in Dundee travel lodges cos we cannot really afford owt else.

What a treat! I expected limited access and tons of crowds, but I was very wrong! We played on the ladies putting 18 hole course as a family of 4 and it was amazing! So much fun, not many people, and got to spend time in this incredible course. Staff were lovely as well!

Though it was not a goal, I was impressed by my father's coming here. The view along the beach made me think that it is also the world's best golf course.

Tremendous experience to hand around in such a historical golf attraction.

Great to see such a historical site. I'm sure a golfer would have appreciated it much more than I did.

What a lovely place my first time at St Andrews. And the weather was Great down at beach very nice.

It does not even seem the house of golf but a playground for visitors and tourists .... I was very disappointed .... it is all commodified to earn as much as possible. ... people in the middle of the field that takes pictures both at 1 and 18 ..... but what pleasure should a person have to do 18 HOLES with friends in a place like that? ... just to say there I was and not for the pleasure of playing that field ..... also you book from September for the following year .... cost 125 pounds! ..... but I prefer to come to Scotland to play in wonderful fields in peace and in the silence not in the delirium of mass tourism .... a step must be done and is the reason for the star because anyway everything is born from there but it is very disappointing

Has to be visited, even if only for its historic value alone

Home of golf and heaven on earth for a golfer. I stayed in St.Andrews during the Open Championship 2018 and the town was full of excitement Already making plans to return next year.

Typical Scotland town, famous for the best golf courses

Perfect greens as expected. Greenfee is acceptable for this legendary club.

Beautiful building plenty of history, open to the public one day a year (St Andrews day).

Came up from Glascow for the day just to stand on the famous 18th fairway Swilken bridge.

Great. But don't know why it has to rain so much...

A golf monument next to the beach where one of the scenes of the movie "Chariot On Fire" was shot.

Nothing like playing the game where it was invented.

What can you say, the great home of golf. The officials were friendly and prepared to answer questions.

Fantastic place to visit if you re a golf fanatic! It s also a short train (and a bus) away from Edinburgh, if you just wanna take a quick tour around..

In fact there are two R&A now. Normal golf club and the business one. Quite confusing.

I'm not a golfer myself, but the visit was also very nice. A magnificent and super well-kept area in a wonderful location.

Free entry on St. Andrews Day. There is a lot to see and you learn what made a golf ball.
