Quick Paws Hiking Company Review

Hands down the best grooming job my pup has ever had. Fantastic place, highly recommend to others.

Brought my senior kitty in after she started having issues grooming herself. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My girl is soft and pretty again. She really seems much happier since our visit. Thank you!

Charla and Quick Paws are AMAZING! They greet my dog and I both by name practically before we even have the door open and are so kind and compassionate with my older, often nervous pooch. I will never board anywhere else!

Above and beyond caring. The staff is incredible. The grooming service is awesome. Our dog knows when we are getting close and flies our the car when we pull up.

I'd like to preface by saying my GF and I have no children and never will; our Boston Terrier is really our "child" for all intents and purposes. We've been to a lot of daycare's in Missoula including ones much closer to our home, but this is by far our favorite.

Some may be intimidated by the "waiting list" they often have, but take that as a sign they care about the balance of their environment. They are extremely kind to the dogs and it wont be long at all before they call your dog for retrieval the moment your car pulls up.

Our Boston Cicero is extremely cautious - for the last few months my GF has worked from home often so he gets the attention he needs. That said, we still like to take him in at least once a month. When we do, he immediately wants to run into the area with other dogs as much as the dog park.

5/5 - if you're not just looking for a place to drop your dog and consider it an important part of the family, this is the place to match that expectation. The cost is well worth when looked at that angle. The pet food store attached is an extra bonus.

My dog has been going to Quick Paws for years and they entire staff does an amazing job!! Recently my dog had some health issues on a hike and they notified me immediately and where there to help. They checked in with his us in the following days and the staff showed that they truly care. I would HIGHLY recommend Quick Paws to any person that loves their pet.

Quick Paws is beyond awesome. I have tried about eight grooming places for my little dog, Oreo and have found Quick Paws to be by far the best. I tried other places here in Missoula and was not very satisfied with the cuts. I also tried to get in to other places, but no one ever returned my call.

The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I could not be happier and never plan to go to another groomer!!!

Super easy for the humans, super fun for the dogs.

Fantastic first boarding experience. The staff took great care of our dogs Maple and Aspen and had very detailed descriptions of their stay there and how everything went. Our dogs are exhausted from having so much fun playing, we are beyond pleased!

Employees are very nice to me and my fur babies!

This review is long overdue. Quick Paws is my favorite small business in Missoula. My dog Blue has been going to Quick Paws consistently for almost 4 years. He hikes twice a week, boards a few times a year when we vacation/travel for work, and gets groomed regularly there. I'd estimate that Blue has done over 360 hikes with Quick Paws! We have NEVER had a bad experience, which kind of blows my mind. Charla, and her staff, are wonderful people who truly love my dog. If you have a dog who enjoys other dogs, and especially a dog who enjoys hiking, Quick Paws will add a lot of happiness to your dog's life. It's a genius business, and Blue's twice weekly doggy hikes have helped transform him into a socialized and content dog. My biggest compliment of Quick Paws is that I truly believe they all sincerely enjoy my dog, and that makes me happy. Once I was home sick when Blue got dropped off after his hike. Quick Paws let him into my house and neither Quick Paws nor Blue knew I was upstairs in bed. I heard the hiker say to Blue "I had such a good time with you buddy...thanks for a great hike!" and then he locked up my house and left. So pleasant. Quick Paws is just a great place with an even greater staff, and we are fortunate to have them in Missoula. I know that if we ever moved, we would truly miss them. I highly recommend Quick Paws to anyone who has a dog who enjoys spending time with other dogs.

Love the groomers, love the daycare. This is the best in town, hands down

Our dog has been a customer for years and he always raves about the friendly staff and the excellent treatment he receives. He loves hanging out and playing with the other clients! Charla and her staff are wonderful to the humans too! We have always had an excellent experience.

Very pleased with the whole experience. Great ladies that took great care of my unruly cat. The price was way better than I expected. Other places asked about our cats temperament and said, we can't do it because it will need to be sedated. For that and a shave I would have been looking at $120 at Cats on Broaway and probably more with a bath. Michelle, the groomer, who was knowledgeable and showed concern for my girls' cat said, let me see what I can do. She was able to shave the mats off but wasn't able give it a bath but I am totally pleased. The bath was an extra bonus anyway because I was mostly worried about the mats. I was only charged $25!!! My cat is happy, my wife and kids are happy and I am even happier. Lol. If you are looking for a place to take your pet I bet you would have good luck too. - Wade

My poor mother took her labradoodle to be "groomed" here. Bless her heart, she almost cried when she saw what they did- I think they handed a kid a pair of clippers and told them to go to town. Her beautiful, sweet, curly-haired labradoodle came back looking like a greyhound. They straight-up SHAVED her, nose to tail, and were proud to show my mother the picture of the FLEECE they sheared off the dog. THAT'S NOT A GROOMING JOB. What they did took no skill at all. It's horrific. We could have bought clippers and done that ourselves, but she thought she was paying for a professional haircut for her dog. Ha. I'm absolutely stunned. Also, it's April, and the poor dog is now freezing. My mother had already paid by the time they brought out the dog, and was too horrified and shocked to say anything. I can't blame her. Every dollar she spent was a dollar well wasted. I'm absolutely disgusted with this place.

The staff that you deal with here (and clearly the workers behind the scenes too) are some of the best people I've ever done business with.

Michelle at Quick Paws is the best groomer in town! My poodle is given great service, treated like royalty and each time her cut is done to perfection. I have tried many places in Missoula but only Quick Paws will do!

We take our German Shepard here and are always impressed with the level of care the give to each dog they care for!

I brought my young cat in for grooming and removal of mats in her fur. The staff were very kind and good with both me and my cat. They were gentle and considerate of potential scares with noises for my cat. She was very well taken care of and I am very happy with the grooming. I will definitely be going back to Quick Paws for our grooming needs.

If you are looking for quality TLC for your fur baby, look no further. Charla and her team were fabulous. Our dog LOVED his dogcation and made a ton of new friends. The communication is top notch and proactive. I really appreciated the great care and attention provided by the team. Highly recommend!

We have been bringing our border collie there for a while now and have been nothing but impressed with the service, convenience and overall quality of he staff/facility. I was very apprehensive about leaving our boy at first but after seeing how well he's taken care of and how much fun he has, we are completely comfortable. The staff is always friendly, the premises are always very clean and the fact that I can just drop off and pick up whenever is super convenient. We've used their grooming and boarding services as well and have been equally impressed. I have knack for spotting quality operations and this is definitely that... Highly recommended, local business!

This is the best boarding & daycare facility in missoula they have taken the best care of our dog and provided help and advice during our most recent trip to Missoula

My dog and myself love the daycare. though as for the Hiking. my dog has allergies I know this.. never had a problem hiking until recently when one of their staff Let him eat a carcass. their was no.. I am am sorry. the conversation went more "we can't be responsible for you dog while he hikes " I'll never forget that statement, I will never send my dog to hike again. because you should be completely responsible for every dog in your charge and trained to-do so.

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Took my dog here last year on his birthday and will be doing it again this year. I m not going to lie I was very nervous leaving him for the first time at the groomers. I looked at about 7 groomers in town before I decided on this place. The poor staff were so kind to me and answered all my overbearing questions with a smile on their face. The building was nice and clean and they truly care about the animals. My handsome little boy loved it there and I can t wait to bring him back. Thank you Quick Paws for unbelievable costumer service and your love of pets!!!!

I love the grooming services at Quick Paws. I have a small dog with a lot of hair, and taking her to Petsmart was awful. Whenever we went to Petsmart, my dog would tremble the whole time it was so loud.
Then I found Susan Burke. Now my dog loves to be groomed. She even knows what street we are turning on to go to Quick Paws. My dog actually gets excited when we come into the building and Susan comes out to meet us. The whole staff is wonderful, but Susan speaks "dog".
The prices are are roughly $20 dollars cheaper than at PetsMart, and the stress level is nonexistent. Thank You Susan. Thank You Quick Paws.

Best grooming experience! I do a lot of dog training and was worried that a bad grooming experience or nail trim would undo all the work we have done with our dog. The groomer said she would not continue if he became nervous or seemed shut-down, but there was no need to worry. The groomer was professional and answered all our questions upon drop-off. Our dog was happy and comfortable when we picked him up, and she groomed him just as we asked. We will definitely go back. PS: hikes, daycare and boarding are also excellent, but everyone knows that already:)

Had our Maltese in for a grooming, while traveling. Great service, friendly staff, super clean building.

The business owner told me I was no longer welcome at her grooming salon when I simply asked to trim my schnauzers' ears with a 40 blade which is standard. She said it was dangerous which is absolutely absurd. Additionally they will not blade the bottom of the feet which is also very standard schnauzer groom!!! I told her I have never been asked to leave over something so frivolous and I was very courteous about the whole thing

Quick Paws is amazing, being placed on the wait-list for 8 months was definitely worth the wait. We have a very energetic 2 year old Lab, he loves the hikes, and comes home exhausted. The Disney customer service keeps amazing me; from post card and picture updates, to QPaw dog tags on collars in case they stray during the hike. They always answer the phone with a smile. Definitely worth the money for your furry family member.

I am the proud mother of a sweet Pit Bull, and when a sudden change in my life circumstances required last minute boarding I was thrilled that QP was willing to give him a chance! Having never boarding him before, I was anxious and called frequently to check on him. The staff could always tell me who he had played with, whether he had eaten, and how he was doing. I know he is in good and loving hands whenever he is at QP! Now, I even let him go to daycare and he LOVES it! He always greets the staff before waiting to be let into the play area-so I know that they must love on him when I am gone! Bramble and I are both big fans of QP and are so grateful that not only do they not discriminate, they take excellent care of any dog who walks through their doors!

Used them for over two years have always felt prices where high but they did a good job (dogs smelled amazing) so I was willing to pay it. My last interaction I was running a few min late. They told me I could pay them an extra $30.00 per dog to still get them groomed (so 83.00 total a dog) or a $56.00 cancel fee for two dogs. My money is going elsewhere.

Charla and the crew are fantastic! My boxer cross has been going to QP since I adopted him at 4 months. He LOVES the hikes and I know he is in good hands while enjoying himself. His Scottie brother loves to play while at the QP and it lets the two of them have some time without the other. The groomers do the best job with my scottie's trim. They listen to what I like on him and he comes out so happy and cute as well as non-tramatized. I can't say enough praise for the Quick Paws crew!!!!
