Excellent place to eat dinner if you are willing to shell out some dough. White tablecloths, elegant environment. Very urban feel. Tables are a little close together, so not much privacy.

Great neighborhood restaurant! I love walking up here and having a few drinks and dinner with friends. Great atmosphere and very good food.
Innovative offerings, very well executed. Both visits so far have been top quality.
Great ambiance if you like darkly lit places. Bartender's have been attentive and friendly both time we've been there. Only sat at the bar and had food haven't actually sat at a restaurant table. Give it a try.
A nice place for a special occasion dinner. Drinks are a bit pricey, but good. Service was great. One of the many hidden gems in Mariemont.
The service was great! Antoine was our server. The food was perfectly cooked too.
This place has become our permanent anniversary dinner. The food is unmatched, service is the best I've had in the whole city. They never cease to amaze us. We eat out at high end restaurants every 2 months, and Quarter Bistro has them all beat.
Service was really off the night we went...midweek. Maybe new bar staff just hasn't gotten it's sea legs yet. And dinner order wasn't right.
I love Quarte Bistro! I picked it for our anniversary celebration tonight after a movie. The food was great and so was the service. Our waiter brought us a complimentary prosecco and the best dessert ever!
We loved it and can't wait to go back! The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. I had duck with a blueberry jalapeno sauce and my husband had pork cheek Bolognese. The dishes were so unique and perfectly prepared, their chef is killing it!
I ordered the Scottish Salmon, it was a flavorful meal. Quarter Bristro has a classy atmosphere, yet a feasible meal. Sitting arrangements were not ideal, overall a good first experience.
We had a wonderful meal. Food is consistently good. Unfortunately they still drag garbage from the bar through the restaurant.
Very nice restaurant! I have not had a bad meal here! The halibut special was excellent.
4 different entrees, 4 excellent meals! We will be back!
My husband and I visited here within the last month or so. We are trying to visit local Cincy restaurants more versus the chains we are always going to so my husband found this on Open Table. It has a cute atmosphere but it quickly became less charming when we were literally seated next to another couple along a wall...literally a plant between the tables and the other woman moved her coat so as to not impose on my space on the bench seat a foot away from her. It was like we were having a double date with a couple we didn t know.
The moscato was good and our server was a very polite gentleman. The food was ok for the price.
You could tell it is very popular with the older crowd and it was filling up with regulars the entire time we were there on a Friday night.
It wasn t awful but we probably wouldn t go back.
The ambiance was fabulous and the food was even better ! With chic interiors and a patio seating, it's a great place for a date or special occasion. The service was prompt and very genial. A tad bit on the pricy side, but it's well worth it.
Our favorite evening is a movie at The Mariemont Theater and dinner at The Quarter Bistro. After our 2 most recent visits, we are very disappointed; the Tomato Basil Soup has been changed with too much spice and no basil flavors and the beet salad had hard beet pickle instead of fresh beets. Last night we went to a different restaurant.
Great place to eat and have drinks, little expensive though
Environment 10/10
Food pricey but absolutely delicious 10/10
Service 15/10 waitress named Ashley best I've ever had
Will definitely be back
Food was super flavorful. The service was very helpful and observant. It has a nice feel to it. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
Food and service was top notch. Really cool place and the bartenders know how to mix a drink
BE WARNED - booked 2 weeks in advance and only discovered when we got there that bookings are only good for INSIDE. I was not told this at time of booking and then told wait for table was 1 hr. Poor customer service, won't be back.
Excellent food, pricey but worth every penny, lovely environment
Awesome! Great atmosphere and amazing food. Found a hidden gem here.
A touch pricy but super delicious, good music, nice classy setting, I'll be there again.
Me and my wife had our anniversary dinner here. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and our food was fantastic.
If you're looking for a great meal this is a great place to check out. The atmosphere is very unique and offers a neat setting to enjoy a meal. I would highly recommend the waygu steak sandwich and their tomato soup. While the cocktails here are more traditional, they are well made and delicious. They also have a good wine selection, especially by the glass. Also, if you want to do a dinner and a movie, the Mariemont theatre is right next door. Definitely check this place out.
Very good! I would recommend it. We went for my mom's birthday and had the rack of lamb, steak frites, and the short ribs. Both the steak and lamb were a bit under done (more rare than medium rare), but I thought the lamb was good. The salad that I got (apple and gorgonzola) was very over dressed, to the point where all you could taste was blue cheese and vinegar. I loved the short ribs and that was what really made the experience for me.
Came for Cincy Restaurant Week and I regret my choice. We re still hungry, the food quality is trash, they CLEARLY use cheap ingredients, and the service is slow with a smile. Not to mention the clash between classy and cheap in terms of decor. The only reason they have two stars is because the food wasn t nasty. They advertised shrimp and scallops on the menu but it was the cheap baby ones that were used. The steak was poorly seasoned and the fries were small and cold. This place is for old affluent people that like to waste money because this food is deplorable.
Steak tartar is fantastic as well as our entrees. Service was spot on and atmosphere had energy without being too loud.
Great food and experience. Excellent staff. Will be back.
Cozy, fine food and warm, friendly service. Get the special whatever it is.
Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection
Very enjoyable, relaxing evening on the patio. Service by Samantha was perfect! All our food was well-prepared and tasty. Only minor glitch was the Steak Frites. Although cooked to perfection (medium-rare), the steak (probably sirloin but no certain) was a bit tough. This seems to be common for this dish however wherever you go.
Old fashioned menu but very well executed. Super waitstaff.
It was incredible. The fish tacos were delicious and the truffle fries were otherworldly. My wife had the veggie tacos and couldn't get enough. The key lime tart was a perfect end to the meal. Ask for Ashley, she knows her stuff!
My boyfriend surprised me and took me here for Valentine's Day. He made a reservation so we wouldn't have to wait. We walked in surprised that it was a ghost town, which started my bad feelings. We sit down and they bring us a menu. Half a page (literally 8 items for all courses) of stuff you've never heard of. Of course no one told us there was such a limited menu when making the reservation. Then the waiter came over smelling like an ash tray only to tell us that we could order one item instead of paying EIGHTY DOLLARS A PERSON for the disgusting courses, but could only do so if we moved to the bar (mind you we were the only people in the restaurant on VALENTINE'S DAY). So I got to spend the rest of my romantic evening waiting 2 hours for a table at a local steakhouse. Thanks for the horrible experience, will never be back.
Lovely dinner with family. There where a few things that happened that made me want to post the review. Soup was luck warm - warmed up at our request. The other items order where great other than the mac n cheese. Great you use 4 cheese - but when you reheat to serve you can not over heat. That broke the rue which caused a pile of oil to form at the bottom of the dish. Overly hot pasta, oil at the bottom of the dish and cheese baked to the sides. Not lovely.
Perfect. Superb service. Delicious food. warm atmosphere. Definitely coming back here
Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Our waitress was great.
First things first, the Quarter Bistro has excellent food. We loved our dinner and appreciated the wine list, especially the half-bottle options since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary on a weeknight. I had the Gerber Chicken and my wife had the Shrimp & Bay Scallop Angel Hair. Both were excellent given our personal preferences. The plating was very nice as well. We also opted for the margherita flatbread, it was nice and crisp with good cuts of tomato and delicious mozzarella. We opted for a half-bottle of malbec which we found to have a great taste and a nice level of spice to it. Though we didn't say for dessert, the Graeter's around the corner proved too tempting, I now wish we had. Second, the ambiance was a bit strange at first. The interior dinning area where we sat had a strange reminiscence to the 'honey moon' suite you typically see in movies. Reds, mirrors, and dark wood. This is, of course, not a negative. It certainly had a romantic vibe and felt like a special occasion. We sat in a two person corner booth and so were seated next to each other rather than across; it was great. Finally, the service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Side note: had it not been a muggy/hot day in Cincinnati, we would definitely have sat on the patio. They have a wonderful location on the square and have the added date-night benefit of being attached to the movie theater. I would certainly recommend Quarter Bistro to anyone looking for a romantic night out (with a movie?) and anyone looking for a spot to celebrate an anniversary. We'll definitely be going back.
The atmosphere was great and our server, Matt was incredible. The food was excellent and drink options plentiful.
Says one thing, does another - holds tables for special customers - does not honor first available seating for outside patio - think twice about this one.
Great food and service. The short ribs and truffle fries are amazing.
To sum up my experience
I reserved for 2 on valentine's day, try something different it looked and sounded good by photos and reviews online.
Once I was sat I was handed a menu with 4 main courses to choose from not the menu posted. Because they decided on all night to limit the menu to do it on valentine's so looking at the menu my date would not eat 85% of what was listed. I was upset 5:30 on valentine's and we were just handed nothing I saw online. We were denied the options for regular menu but we had the choice to sit at the bar and order ala carte from the menu they had for the night ( the same $80 for each person dissapoint of a menu ) so I was happy to hear that from the waiter who smelled like a cigarette factory. So call ahead and make sure what you are looking forward to is on the menu that night and they are not deciding to switch it up that night. As I was told by the cigarette factory they tend to do that on holidays. Thank you for letting me know when I reserved my table. My experience was terrible and I'll choose not to go back but maybe it was another day I would go for it but I wouldn't spend a holiday event here.
Decent food, although overpriced
Service was a bit slow this time.
Visiting from out of town and brought here by my host. What a treat! The decor is lovely and the atmosphere relaxed. The menu was interesting and I highly recommend the guac and corn salsa for an app. The filet was tender enough to cut with a butter knife and the bread pudding was delicious. Our server, Shelby, was beyond delightful and we enjoyed chatting with her. I appreciated how the whole floor staff worked together to make sure every table had what they needed. I will definitely come here again in my next visit!
Every meal has been spectacular and the main female bar tender is outstanding! She always makes killer drinks and knows the ins and outs of the menu and restaurant. Just tonight, i left my wallet on the table and as we were walking to the car she came running to catch us so i could get my wallet!... we also LOVE the talented guitar player
The Quarter was really cute, however the service was a bit slow and the tables are really close. The food was well-cooked and flavorful. I felt the mussels were a bit large but the bisque and steak were near perfect.
These guys are incredible! They were at Stepping Stones Bloom event and they were fun, knowledgeable, and willing to make adjustments based on dietary restrictions. The bacon-jalapeno jam? It could send me straight to heaven!
I didnt like my apple crisp cheesecake dessert. Otherwise everything was fine.
Fancy. Food , fancy locale. Etc. good tasty food. Portions small portions though. Friendly and helpful staff.
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere and great friends!
A diamond in a coal mine. So good I hate to share! Lovely thoughtful craft cocktails served in a beautiful and elegant bar or outside on a shaded patio just private enough to keep your anonymity while watching the streetscape go by. My favorite evenings have included simple martini and a gorgeous steak tartare, or perhaps a glass of Cabernet with a rich mushroom pasta. It's the first restaurant in Cincinnati to truly remind me of the bistros in New York City in terms of vibe and Neighbourhood feel. Don't be surprised if you run into friends there and combine your tables for a lovely evening.
Service staff is great. Very accommodating. Food is stellar and unexpected for being called a Bistro. Chicken Gerber and Duck Cheek were amazing. The risotto with fig and bacon Demi was the best I've ever had. You can't go wrong with this place. Recommend the duck flat bread.
