Quality Inn Pearl Review

When we opened the door to the room, the heat hit us. The temperature had to be in excess of ninety degrees. We turned on the A/C, and after an hour, the temperature was reduced to miserable. We sat huddled next to the A/C just to watch TV. The front desk indicated that there were no pre-cooled rooms available.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Great location near airport and highway. Rooms are a bit noisy.

The air-conditioning did not work, the room smelled bad, and the room was dirty.

If you want a smoking room you better get a reservation. I stay atleast once a month and never do they have a smoking room available. Platinum member and can't even get a smoking room. Won't come here again. Might even change hotel chains bc this is ridiculous

Nothing to look at from outside no beauty.
But the inside is soo comfortable and clean. I was able to take a tub bath my first night. Thank you Choice Hotels

There hotel is old and needs some updating although it was clean. Towels are thin, and unless you ask, they don't give new towels for 3 days. Don't know if we stay here again

I got a great deal on a room here thru Priceline. Showering is a must with their shampoo and conditioner, magnificent, front desk clerk was rude when I needed coffee and a replacement coffee maker. The room was very nice and the bed was super comfy!!!

Ok good room and close for a truck shop not breakfast due to civid-19 semi friendly semi helpful ..dimm hallways rooms are clean waffle house across 4 lane highway gas station next door small area to park in and close to interstate

We had a spacious and very clean room. No complaints at all. We were very happy with our choice.

This was the worst stay we ever had,my friend wanted to be moved to the first floor cause his legs were bothering him and we tried to be closer to the the outside so he could smoke,but they lied and said there were no rooms on the first floor available,and the house keeper had just clean some rooms,bottom line the whole front desk staff are very rude with nasty attitude,the only ones that were nice were the housekeeping staff,the guy at the front desk very rude not only to us but with other guests to,they need to get all new front desk staff,the complimentary coffee is always cold they never change it l had to go across the street to get fresh coffee.please don't stay there unless you are really tired

1 hour phone booking while in the outer foyer. Then I walked in and they didn't have the room. I had watched the lobby while making the booking and nobody came in. Then the desk clerk couldn't have cared less about making amends or helping us find a room at another hotel in the group. Disappointed is an understatement.

Average stay, rooms were just ok, they do have breakfast buffet, that was too just ok, rooms and food was not as good as holiday inns.

The rooms were large, clean and quiet. The air conditioner worked great. The bed was very comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. I would stay again.

The guy that checked us in was really nice. The room though, the fridge was leveled out by a folded card board box because it was missing a leg. The coffee pot was in the bathroom. There were no extra ammenities, like a shower cap or anything that most hotels that charge $60.00 would have. The tissue and toilet paper had not been replaced since its previous guests. Apparently they did not want to waste anything. The bed had other people's hair in it. The bed skirt under the head board that sits on top of the box spring, when you look down there behind the pillow, SO DIRTY!!! you can tell they have NOT taken that off to wash it. Dirt, hair and other stuff was down there. It was gross. The comforter had cigarette holes in it and we had the non smoking room. They offered "HOT" breakfast. Was not hot. The eggs were really cold and the front desk lady was wearing slippers with her uniform. Little unprofessional. I will not be staying at any Quality Inns in the future. I will pay the extra money or the same amount for a better hotel. Not impressed.

Clean well maintained hotel conveniently located off I-20 ; breakfast service needs some improvement in selections ( no fruit, butter, Splenda, etc was available ).

Location is right off of I-20 and very convenient for travel. Room is clean with nice features such as a fridge with a small freezer and a microwave. Lots of TV channels. Very comfortable bed. Would stay here again!

Room was clean. Lobby and room smells good. Staff was friendly. Good hot breakfast in the morning. But hotel still needs some maintenance. Door to bathroom was making squeaky noise and was not looking at all. A/c was making huge noise when goes off /on. And bedsheets was itchy(due to often washing and maybe be quality), they definitely need to be changed. But overall, if you here just for a night this hotel worth the price.

Stopped here after a 12 hour drive and needed somewhere to rest. It was just what I was hoping for out of a budget hotel. Located not far off I-55 freeway, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast (waffles, biscuits and gravy, ham and eggs, etc) was a nice bonus. I'd stay here again.

Two adults and three children. We paid for a room with two beds, and when we got there we got a room with one bed and a broken pull out couch. Asked for a different room and the lady (Melissa) started yelling at us saying she couldnt give us a different room or she would get fired, then proceeded to call the cops on us.

Older hotel, but still nice place to stay. Clean rooms and pleasant staff.

Always have a great time. The staff is always friendly, room clean and really nice amenities. This is my go-to place to refer people when they are visiting the state.

The guy at the front desk name Cedric was really nice and the hotel smelled so good it was very clean and will definitely come back when I stay in the metro area

Smelled funny! Customer service could definitely use some improvement, other then that it was fine!

Nice rooms, bed was comfortable, slept like a baby. Room across from mine was noisy and there tv, and kids and they had people consistently knocking on there door. But other than that noise levels were at a bare minimum. I am not sure why there bathroom counters were so low. Were made for kids and not for adults, even the toilets were low. Actually now that i think about it. But the Night Auditors were nice and friendly. Only desk clerks i saw. As i went in and out to smoke. Needed a bench out front to sit on for there smoking guests.

Had to travel for my brothers funeral. Very strict no early check in policy. After flying overnight we were unable to check in early to shower and get ready for family gathering and visitation.

Friendly staff overall! They could offer a few benches outside for smokers comfort as rooms are all non smoking.

The room is clean with smart lay out, so there is no noise from outside. The bed is softer than other hotel's, the bedsheets is silky and smooth. Location is very convenient, close by highway, restaurants, airport. Overall we are glad to stay in this hotel.

Management not helpful, gets you late to airport, like on purpose. Btw, im a very patient person and got to. Airport 15 minutes before my flight, i missed..

Friendly staff and nice rooms. Think they were having AC problems. Took over an hour for room to cool to a comfortable temperature. Elevator and stairwell were very hot and humid.

Won't refund even for a medical emergency..way to go Quality Inn.

This is a well kept and very well managed hotel, and the staff is courteous and helpful.

The female up front was very rude! I had called before I arrived to ask about a microwave & she said yes & hung up. I also asked if they had any plastic silverware & again rudely said no & said just sign the paper. Also the WiFi password was disgusting & very unprofessional

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was clean and complimentary breakfast was nice. Friendly and accommodating staff.

3.5-4 stars. We booked this hotel as an "only option" when we evacuated Florida for Irma. It had a room available, and the price was right.
The building from the outside is nice, but once you step inside you can tell it is a bit old. The first room we were put in smelled terribly of cigarette smoke, and that wouldn't do with our 8 month old. I called the front desk and they put us into another room without hesitation, which was much better. I was put off by the mugginess and temperature of the room, but once I turned the air on it was much better.
The pillows and bed are incredibly comfortable. My husband and I have our share of hotel and resort stays, and this would rank in my top 5 for comfort. The complimentary breakfast every morning was a definite bonus, and we took full advantage of it. The lobby has round-the-clock coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. The water was very hot (both from the faucet and Shower), though the pressure was lacking a bit.
Most of the staff was very nice and welcoming. All in all, a good stay. When the price is compared to the quality, it's a great deal.

As far as the hotel, it's not a 5 star, but it isn't too bad, either. Probably would have recommended it if not for Cedric! He is very RUDE and disrespectful! I don't appreciate being talked down to! There are too many other hotels to stay where customers are appreciated!

The room I received was essentially immaculate. The staff are pretty friendly and very helpful, especially the early morning staff. The hot breakfast they serve is hearty and satisfying. Quite frankly, when I come to Jackson, MS on my business trips I always look forward to checking in here.

Clean and comfortable and the coffee was good...I love coffee

Ants ate us up and then when i told desk clerk they lyed and came in our room when we left and sprayed the whole room down with chemicals and rhen lied and blamed a rouge housekeeper who worked all night and then moved us into another room that was 94 degrees cause they dont keep a.c. on when rooms are unoccupied. Bottom line is they are lyars and dont know the art of courtesy to paying costumers. Our who company has banned staying here ever again. Do not wast time here.

Beds were uncomfortable, my appliances in the room didn't work and the only thing that was good about the breakfast was the sausage and the eggs.

My only complaint is that terrible dryer in the laundry room. Really needs to be updated. Other than that, everything else was WONDERFUL! 4.8 stars.

Extremely low water pressure. 1st Room they gave me Was not even cleaned. poor parking and not well lit.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very cleaned and so was the hotel in general. The breakfast in the morning was a typical hotel breakfast but still good.

When we got into our room it was so hot no air or fan was running in our room, we were told it was because we were walk ins with no reservations! It was summer time and to have a room that was so hot it took a long time to get the room cool! The positive was the breakfast was good! Call ahead ask to have air turned on!

Fresh, clean, comfortable. Excellent place to stay on your way in or out of town or a whole stay.
