I adopted two of my sweet kitties from this place, in addition to giving me a complete medical and personal history for both my cats at the time of their adoption they also recommended a vet for me to use for them AND did a follow-up call to make sure all of us had settled in and were doing well. I continue to donate money to this organization and I fully support all their efforts to help cats and kittens accross Washington state. They genuinely care for the animals they foster and adopt out and I was impressed not just by their compassion but also the professionalism of their staff. If you are looking to add a cat or two to your family I can think of no better organization than this one to help with that.

I was impressed with their number and variety of cat rooms, information, and friendly staff. They went out of their way to work with us, and we got the perfect fit for our family! I'd recommend them to anyone I know.

We have two cats from Purrfect Pals, and support the shelter with donations. They do a great job of making sure fewer cats are abandoned or killed.

CALL AHEAD to find out what's available for adoption at the moment. Things change every day. And please, consider older cats, not just kittens. They all need homes.

I've volunteered for Purrfect Pals for over a year and you will never find a more conscientious and caring rescue organization. Although they do occasionally have kittens, they specialize in bringing in special needs and senior kitties from local shelters that are no longer able to keep them. Another thing I love is that they will never separate a bonded pair; if two senior cats come in because their elderly owner has passed away or is no longer able to care for them, I know those cats will be able to live out their lives together. Best yet, every cat adopted from Purrfect Pals is a Purrfect Pals cat for life and will always have a home with them if needed. Each kitty is micro-chipped prior to adoption and if a Purrfect Pals cat is ever found as a stray or returned to a local shelter, they go straight back to Purrfect Pals and they stay with the organization until they are adopted.

This place is amazing. The kitties are actually "housed" in a house. The sanctuary is clean and well cared for, as are the kitties. Lots of toys and beds. They day I went, they were low on cats, which is good unless your trying to find a cat. Kitten season is coming soon and I'm sure they'll have an influx of guests. If you're looking to adopt, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I have over the last 18 years adopted 6 cats from Purfect Pals. We also fostered one of there longest resident cats until her passing ( Peaches was 25). My children did 4-H showing cats for many years and all with our kitties from PP. These cats often took first place and were often part of local news stories that included their background from PP.They have been excellent at matching our family with right cats over the years and we cannot thank this shelter enough for all the good times and memories we have had with their kitties as our own. I have nothing but respect for the job this shelter does that includes long hours, hard work and little money.

It's hard not to fall in love each time you visit. Zelda would've been my pick if I could've adopted, she has gorgeous markings and eyes. Also there was one of the fattest kitties I've seen who was just a snuggle bug. I appreciate what the staff and volunteers have done and will continue to do here for all the cats. Make a donation or adopt!

I LOVE Purrfect Pals. A few years ago, I was looking to adopt a kitty to share a home with a dog who LOVED cats. The previous cat hated the dog and I wanted to prevent a repeat of the same scenario with the new cat.

I took the dog up to the shelter (leaving her in the car, parked a ways away from the building so as not to upset the cats with the smell of dog) and went inside to explain approximately what I was looking for in a cat and that most of my requests were negotiable, but the cat at least tolerating, preferably liking the dog was not. They got several volunteers together to discuss the situation, and gave us an idea for a cat that they felt would work well, and explained that all cats are returnable if they don't work out.

Now here is where they went above and beyond. When I explained that the dog was in the car, and would there be a possibility of a meet and greet right then, to save the cat the stress of being returned if it didn't work out, they were thrilled I had brought the dog. They cleared out some stuff from a cat escape proof laundry room (in case she saw the dog and went ballistic) and had us bring the dog in there and then a volunteer brought the cat in to see her. After a few minutes, it was clear it would work out (they actually ended up being the best of friends for the rest of the dog's life) and we took the cat home.

I am absolutely FLOORED by the reviews that say Purrfect Pals is just out to make money and complain about the adoption fees. Honestly, have you people priced the services they provide at a veterinarian? Yes, the "free kitten" in front of Safeway is cheaper initially, but then you need to get it spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, etc. Considering the amount of services Purrfect Pals put into each cat, they are basically PAYING you to adopt a cat.

I think this is a great place and I hope they're around for a very long time.

You can't help falling in love with that place that started with humble dreams. The reality this shelter has become is astounding. A cat Haven that should be the model of every cat shelter.

Claimed my cat could eat dry food even though he had no teeth. He had problems with it, so we switched to wet food, had problems with that too, even put a laxative in it. We decided to take him to the vet and he had colon failure issues and he needed to be put down. We only around 5 months with him...

No kill kitty shelter with a very friendly staff. We adopted our sweet Molly from them, after visiting all of the kitties there. The cats have room to roam and thier areas all have comfy beds and toys. There was an office kitty roaming around as well. Once our forms for adoption were done, we got to take Molly home with food, a goodie bag with toys and a blanket, and a free vet visit.

A wonderful shelter with friendly and helpful staff. I have acted as a volunteer foster parent on their behalf and they have been great about maintaining communication and providing everything I need to successfully care for a mother cat and her litter. They recently finished expanding their facility, and the cats they take in are well taken care of in a healthy environment with an on-site veterinarian and separate enclosures for felines with conditions such as FIV.

They have a variety of programs to help make sure you find the right cat (and that the cats find the right homes) and they will take back adopted cats in case the placement doesn't work out.

I have now adopted one cat here and fully intend to do so again.

Have adopted several cats from here and they have all been wonderful. The average Joe cat show and black cat ball fundraisers they host are great fun every year. They care very much for all of the cats that pass through their doors and it's great to read all of the updates of adopted cats in their newsletter and social media. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cat.

I used to think this was the most compassionate place on earth. Recent events have made me believe otherwise. I recently surrendered my kitten thinking that my boyfriend was allergic and when I say recent I mean yesterday afternoon. I immediately called afterwards, literally 6 hours later when I found out that it was a upper respiratory infection and our circumstances allowed us to keep her. I offered to pay any money knowing that all they did was a blood test but for any services they did and any services that they think she needs. I was so happy when I heard back from the coordinator Susan that there was no reason she could see that we wouldn't be able to take her home. I waited all day patiently for a phone call however, Instead of calling me back I received an email saying that they are not going to give me back my kitten because they don't think that she should live with me since I thought he was allergic. What?? This was an honest mistake, people mis diagnose things all the time. I never heard such a stupid reason in my life and I'm so disappointed in purrfect pals for not reuniting us with our kitten and being reasonable and understanding that this stuff happens and nobody deserves to be punished. We are heartbroken and missing a member of our family and nobody there seems to care. I will never recommend purrfect pals ever again and I highly suggest that if you're looking for a place with heart that you search a little further. This place is about making money they have no heart for people and their pets. Money was no issue for us we just wanted our girl to come home. We are devastated.

A no kill cat shelter and cat sanctuary. A new building has been added to their property. It's been finished beautifully with the cats in mind 100% of the time. The cats have great views, great patios, great rooms and good volunteers to help hold it together. Definitely a shelter worth investing in.

This group blocked reviews on their facebook page and reading through this page, it's clear that Hilda isn't the only person to lose a beloved family member to shady dealings. Their response to the public has been nothing short of appalling. I can't believe the city of Arlington supports this organization and the atrocities it commits.

We had to bring back a pet once. It was one of the most painful things we've ever had to do, but he was maladjusted to say the least. He tore up my husband's legs and they are still scarred to this day. They made us feel terrible and as if that wasn't enough they wrote us up in their newsletter introducing the pat to new takers and made us look horrible. We were so angry. We had pets our entire lives and have never had problems. Sadly, every once in a while there is such a thing as a psychocat the fact that we kept it as long as we did and I'm talking years was in itself a miracle. All of her friends said they would have gotten rid of him long ago. They tell you that if you ever have trouble with a pet to by all means please bring it back to them because they would rather you would do that. Turns out that's not

These people never got back to me. I called the petsmart location and the actual sanctuary several times to no avail. When applying, I was told I would get a call back within 48 hrs--nope. Couldn't reach anyone for weeks just to learn the cat I applied to adopt was adopted the DAY AFTER I applied. Not only was the petsmart adoption center impossible to reach, the sanctuary manager chose to not call me back.

It's really rude. I just wanted an update. I will not be attempting to adopt from this place again. In fact, I have already been able to adopt a cat from a different sanctuary that doesn't give me a 3 week run around.

This is the place to go look at cats.
Very well cared for and they let you know all the ups and sometimes downs on the cats they have a the time.
Love the gift bag they give if you do adopt a new family member.
I will definitely tell people I know if they talk about getting a new cat to go check this place out.

What a great place. The staff is friendly, warm reception, they really care and do so much for the cats. It's a community service operating from donations and I have been invited to be a part of the growth/ redesign. If cats could talk, they would have to voice thier love of this place. It's absolutely for them!

My husband and I went to Purrfect Pals a couple times to make donations. We got to meet Kathy Centala who showed us her bedroom where she keeps special needs cats and she was happy to answers all of our questions. A girl who works there showed us the entire shelter which took about 2 hours. We saw the special rooms they have for FIV, Leukemia, Feral Cats, Chronic, and senior cats. The cats are friendly there; one of my favorites was named Handsome. He has a FIV but he is the sweetest cat I have ever met. The people there are doing the best job they can and truly care. They are putting forth a huge effort to save as many cats as they can.
