Really glad we checked out the showroom. We got to try out all the models and find the best mattress for us. The employees were fantastic, helpful, and great dealing with our 2 little kids. Worth the trip if you're thinking about getting a Purple bed and are nearby.

Showroom is very little, with only two beds to try. But to be honest all the beds are the same, it was more to show off the differences in the powered bed frames. And seemed like an after thought. But it was nice to lay on the mattress before buying it. I'm still going to buy a purple mattress. Don't let the review sway you from the product, it's a great product. Just the showroom needs some work.
I love my mattress, but I ordered a Power Base with the mattress, that was supposed to be set up. Instead I came home to a mattress on the floor and no power base, that was a month ago. I have been sleeping on the floor for a month and every time I call them they say they are working on it . I payed for this very expensive bed, and still have no idea when I will be getting it?
The showroom is very small and at the time we were there very crowded. There is very little parking. Despite all that the beds are supper cozy and you should definitely get one. We did and are sleeping wonderfully.
Came to their showroom to try out their products. The showroom was small and quaint but the service representative s there were very down to earth and friendly. We received a short demonstration and explanation of the products, and were left to try them out as long as we wanted. Any questions we had were answered immediately. It was a pleasant experience and a pressure-free way to try out the purple mattress
Beware! Horrible customer service! I purchased the new purple 3.0 on 2/19/18 and was told the bed would be here in 10 business days . Finally got ahold of delivery agent and the first available delivery was not till March 12th. Ok . But no that didn't work they didn't delivery and then had the gall the next day to tell me I had to wait another 2 days. Now we were Promised the bed would be here today. But alas no bed. AGAIN. and to top it off purple won't help and doesn't care about customer complaints. I will update IF WE EVER GET BED.. and here I was looking forward to getting the bed. Now I don't know if it's worth it. Oh ya a purple won't alow a customer to pick up bed at delivery warehouse if the delivery people take to long. Grr. Katy Oberg
Love the new showroom! If you read previous reviews most are for the old showroom that was really small but the staff made up for it in terrific customer service experience. I recently went to their NEW showroom up at T. Point and it is amazing. It's large, lots of beds to try yes but also a range of other products and some neat gadgets too that explain the bed's unique design as well. Definitely plan to spend some time here with the very helpful employees who clearly believe in Purple's products. We have tried numerous mattresses to alleviate my husband's back pain and Purple Number 3 was the solution finally!!! We recommend their beds to everyone and even let people lay on our bed. Head on over to this new, state of the art showroom and be dazzled, I'm serious! Also the Purple squishies you get to take home are super fun too.
We found the mattress we were wanting to purchase here and the show room person was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend that you come to the showroom during the week and NOT Saturday, the showroom is extremely small so it can get cramped quickly with everyone attempting to try out the beds.
I bought a new mattress because my old one had grooves where my wife and i slept. After only 3-4 months on purple, the grooves are back. Not visible grooves but the bed isnt supportive anymore unless i lay right in the middle where it's not worn out yet. Im tossing and turning all night again. These are junk.... i should have bought a normal mattress.
Worst place to work at (DONT WORK HERE!) I hurt my back last year working here and filled out an incident report when I asked for a copy the coming week after and I was told they never had one and I got lauded off. DWFS has tried More
Unfortunately, Purple sold me a bed frame that they didn't have (and would not have any time soon) and made no attempt to offer a concession for the inconvenience.
Ordered king mattress and frame. Mattress came, but frame didn't despite FedEx showing the product as delivered. Days went by. Emailed Purple but got no response. Called Purple and was told that they didn't have any king frames, had sold out of them several weeks prior to my order, and that I might expect a frame a month or more later (after Thanksgiving). No estimated date given. Was told I might be able to buy a frame from another vendor for double the price.
I am torn on the review. If I was reviewing the product I would give it a full five stars. If I am reviewing the company I would give it three. I averaged to four stars. The purple mattress and the base/mattress pad we got are all fantastic. We actually traveled after getting this mattress and both my husband and I were eager to get back to our mattress (for the first time ever we missed our bed!) I was CRAZY pregnant and did not have any issues with sleep because the bed was so comfy. However, the customer service was ALL over the place. We visited the factory and were told while we were there that we could order and then ask for a hold on our order because we were in the middle of moving. Yet, we wanted to order at a specific time so we could enjoy a promotion the company was having. When we called to order, the customer service rep said there was NO WAY they could hold the order for us and when we finally felt we could order and have the mattress shipped, the deal was over. So we missed out on that. Also, we had been asking about shipping (because we didn't want things arriving at the house before we moved in) and yet no one mentioned to us that they don't ship everything together. So half order came early. Which I suppose most people wouldn't mind, but it was definitely an inconvenience for me. Customer service was just not helpful nor uniform in what they were telling us. Definitely could use a facelift.
The showroom here is very small. It has one of each of their four beds. The sales clerk was very nice. She asked that the children not jump on the bed and other "rules" about trying the beds out. I'm sure they get plenty of families coming in here, so they are trying to get ahead of some of the rowdy behavior they commonly see. I have never heard that in a salesroom, but I can understand why they do it. We had great customer service. They gave each of us a little sample "toy" of the mattress material. The kids really enjoyed that. She explained the differences in each mattress and why each one was popular. She didn't really talk about price too much, but there is a chart that shows it all. She set up a draft order for what we thought we wanted so we didn't have to make the decision right then. We can now just pull up the order and complete the purchase when we are ready. I appreciated the lack of pressure to purchase immediately.
I'm a Purple fangirl for life. I love that they have a local showroom where you can check out all the mattresses they offer. Go on a weekday though, Saturdays are crazy busy and you won't get much time on the mattresses. Purple mattresses have given me the best sleep I've ever gotten, and their customer service is top notch.
Very sparse "showroom". Not really a way to get to know the product in my opinion. I felt like I was the one on display. It was even very hard to find the actual showroom.
It took me three doors to finnally get to the right entrance. Parking was non-existant! The girl (Becca) that helped me was very sweet and attentive so I give her an A+.
It appeared to me that the they have just outgrown their own home and that a showroom was just an afterthought. I think that if some attention and space were given to a customer focused showroom experience that people would go away with a much more positive feeling toward the product. The whole location has the feel of doing it out of your garage.
The product itself still remains high on my quality list but I was hoping for so much more for my 275 mile drive.
This place is a hell hole that seems to have busted machinery and expect miracles . the management makes bad choices. I will never recommend this place ever
Loved the mattress first year, now since we moved, it has not been helpful in preventing the back pain it used to. What happened? It was doing so well, and now I dread going to sleep on it.
Bad customer service. I love the majority of their products, but my experience with their Platform Base was a nightmare. They do the bare minimum of "acceptable", meaning that they will honor the warranty and respond within a reasonable amount of time, but I also might as well have been talking to a brick wall; they don't seem to care about making things right. I recommend anyone considering their products to look at their reviews, and sort by lowest first, so you know what you're in for, worst-case scenario. It will leave an impression.
We have a Purple mattress and several seat cushions. We'll never choose anything else. They work wonders for our aches and pains, and give us a perfect night's sleep.
They stayed open an extra 10 minutes so I could make it there to test out the mattress. They were so nice and welcoming I didn't want to leave. Also, the mattress felt like a cloud while being cradled by heavenly cherubs. I'll definitely be getting a mattress from them when I start my new job!

Great Mattress and great customer service! We bought a platform base with our mattress and it was kind of squeaky. I procrastinated about it, and then emailed them 98 days into our order and they shipped me a new one right away!
Best mattress ever, and you can choose the thickness of the polymer to suit your needs. Returned the 1st mattress through their 100 night guarantee because we wanted the thicker one and they took it back no problem. Can't go wrong with Purple!
Bought the Purple Mattress back in November I believe. We tried all the conventional beds and memory foam. By FAR the Purple was our best choice. We got a queen with the adjustable pedestal. The delivery was a little long but I think a lot of that was us being anxious. Even if you're sleeping on the floor, be patient. A few extra days for the delivery is worth it. I tried the pillow too. It is a little different in material than the mattress but basically the same premise. My wife loves the mattress but thinks the pillow is weird. Great for me 'cause I love the pillow too. I've seen a few negative reviews but to each his own. I'm 56 ears old and this is the best bed I've ever slept on. Give it the 100 day trial. You'll be glad you did. P.S. If you're feeling amorous, this mattress has exactly the right support. :-)
Purple. We love you. I had not heard of Purple until my son showed up some of their very funny commercials on YouTube. Then we read so many reviews of their mattress. We needed a new on badly and visited their showroom in Alpine. The woman who helped us rocked! We played in the display bed for some time and loved the feel. When we decided to purchase we were given all the discounts that they had available so it wasn't nearly as pricey as we expected it to be. They do ship the mattress to you, so expect a several day wait for that.
Setup was super easy. Now after 5+ months we still love our Purple bed. And get their purple sheets. They are awesome! Way better than the other sheets they recommended for the gel beds.
Extremely small "showroom" with their cubicles and office space all in the same area. Very uncomfortable atmosphere and hard to find a person to talk to who works here, too crowded all the time
I went to the showroom to try out the mattress and get a feel for their product. Jessie was extremely helpful and answered every question I had. For some of the more detailed information she was happy to look up everything I needed to know about dimensions, etc. excellent customer service. You can tell the employees enjoy working here and truly believe in their product
INTENTIONALLY DECEPTIVE AND MISLEADING--ALL TO LAND A SALE! Today marks one month since placing an order for two Twin Xl Mattresses totaling $5,327.87. I was apprehensive about dealing with Purple Mattresses because of how many bad reviews there were regarding customer service and delivery times, which I brought up to the sales women at the Purple office in Alpine when I was deciding on whether or not to make the purchase.
The sales women assured me those reviews were a result of a bad delivery partner they were using at the time and they have since changed partners and everything is back on track. She said, "you will be contacted within 1-2 weeks for delivery, but it will likely be much sooner since you are local. I had one customer get his within three days."
I also received an email after the purchase stating the exact same thing If you selected white glove delivery, our in-home delivery partner will contact you via email within 1-2 weeks to schedule a 4 hour window for your in home set up.
Within 3 days from the first order confirmation email, I received a second email that said, due to the overwhelming demand we had over our labor dale sale, we re a little delayed in getting them all out. There s an additional 7-day waiting time for your mattress to be delivered.
If the labor day sale was the day before I purchased my mattress, and it was such a wildly successful sale, was it not possible to inform me of this at time of purchase that there may be a delay? Well the two week period plus the seven-day delay had come and passed with no word, so I call in now at the 22 day mark. The call-center rep tells me that if I don t here back within another 7 days to call back in.
Another 7 days had come and passed, now 30 days in, and still no word. So I call in again, and I am told on the phone it will be at least another 7 days. Unbelievable! I canceled my order. If this is the service you get on the front end, when the order isn t final, imagine trying to handle a problem or return with a used mattress.
Purple, service first sales second, not the reverse. Why on earth is a customer willing to spend premium pricing of $5k on a mattress when there are a thousand $400-$800 options available? Because they expect premium service and are addressing a significant pain point that needs to be solved immediately, like back pain. Charging someone upfront and holding on to their money for 5+ weeks while you try and figure out your supply chain is non-sense. Be transparent. Total joke.
The reps at this location are incredibly nice! I've been here a few times and have yet to see a grumpy rep who is customer facing. I do find it strange, though, that the customer service is on the other side of a curtain and that the show room is so cluttery. I would have expected something a little more high level since they are competing in the luxury rollup mattress industry. But, the the reps makeup for what the building lacks
Horrible Customer Service!! Visited this place on Saturday and was completely dissatisfied with the customer service. Two gals in front I remember one being Tina and can t remember the others name. So we walked in and was greeted with a hello. It s a very very small show room with like 5 different beds. You walk in and that s it the whole showroom. They didn t explained much at all. There s a price list on the wall that the lady was looking at prices so we just went off of that. I thought that s how their customer service was, but a couple went in and so their customer service skills kicked in. Which made me a bit upset that we didn t get that kind of treatment/service. So even though we didn t get a great customer service experience we end up buying a mattress so we are just waiting for it to be shipped hopefully it doesn t take long. Maybe train your employees to not be judgmental and treat everyone who takes the time to drive all the way to the purple store the same. When ordering our mattress she also made mistakes in our address had to go back and get it fixed!
I have to say I am pretty disappointed with my experience with the Purple corporation. I have been your biggest advocate since your product launched and I have been dying to buy a mattress and we had plans to with our upcoming tax return, but I have had terrible experiences with your customer service and company already. First my husband interviewed for a job there and was offered the position and was told to wait for an email from HR the next day. Thankfully my husband didn't put in his 2 weeks that day because we never did get an email and had to reach out to the person who offered the job for him to say that he took back the offer and didn't really give us much of a reason for it. Then I bought a pillow online from someone who said it was brand new and I got it home, opened the bag, and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I sent Purple this chat hoping someone would take pitty on me... "Hi there! I have a problem, but I am not sure if you guys would be willing to help me out. I recently bought a purple pillow online from someone that said it had never been used. We made the exchange at night and they gave it to me in the round bag that purple pillows come in. When I got home sadly enough it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I have done everything I can think of to get the smell out of the gel material with no luck. I have a small case of asthma and I also sleep with a new baby near me and have recently done some research on the dangers of 3rd hand smoke and infants so basically I now have a pillow that I can't use :( I have been dying to try the purple mattress but cannot justify buying it right at this time so I was excited to try out the pillow to help make or break my decision to get one with our tax return. I know since I didn't buy it directly from you that you don't have to help me, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. If not, I understand." Like I said, I knew they didnt have to help, but the chat agent basically (in a more professional way) said too bad with no sympathy and didn't even bother to finish our conversation. If I have had these terrible experiences already I fear giving $2000 to your company and then needing any customer support help in the future. Pretty sure we will be going somewhere else for a mattress.
Really close quarters for a mattress showroom but other than that great! Purple mattress is the best, most comfortable mattresses I've tested out ever. The two ladies there were great with answering questions and recommendations about the mattresses! I'm looking forward to having a Purple at my apartment soon!
They are super helpful and will tell you whatever you need to know about each of the mattresses it is really small but functional for what you need to be able to test everything out that you want!
We bought the Purple mattress before I was pregnant. We loved it right away. However, I didn't know how much I loved it until I was 7 months pregnant and I slept at my parents house for a week. Worse mistake of my life. My hips, butt, legs and back hurt SO BAD, everything was numb and achy even after the first night on one of their regular, what I thought was a decent mattress! I was so excited to go back home to my Purple bed, seriously. I laid down that first night back and it was like she was hugging me, embracing me back into a good night's sleep. I am not kidding, we are talking a huge night and day difference. I refuse to sleep on any other mattress, until at least my baby is born. Pregnant women- do yourself a huge favor and get a Purple mattress now!
The bed is amazing, but customer service is the worst! I couldn t believe how when I reached out a couple months ago regarding my sheet getting a hole, they were unable to help. My sheet was within warranty when the hole was noticed, but due to my wife having another baby, we forgot to contact purple support until right after the warranty expired.
Now, I reached out to see if I could just buy an individual fitted sheet instead of the whole set, and I was told there is nothing that could be done...
I am purchasing my 2nd purple bed, and continue to recommend the bed to my friends and family, but sadly, I can t say the customer service is good at all!
Terrible customer service. If you have any type of issue you will wait weeks for a basic response. They must have thousands of complaints daily.. Still waiting a week for a basic reply. Their beds should be less than $1k based on quality. We have had the bed a little less than 4 months and it is already falling apart and they wont even reply to our support ticket. Buyer Beware they do not stand by their product.
No issue with mattress but company could be nicer. I lost track of the number of days and after having the mattress only three days beyond the 100 day warranty, they said tough luck. They will not accommodate my request to return the mattress. Technically, I understand they are right. However, I thought they were a more customer friendly company. They have fun advertising, but don't mistake that for the hard-nosed company they are after you become a customer. I guess I should've made more of a fuss when it took them three weeks to ship my order. I would suggest you shop elsewhere. There are other companies who have great mattresses and will truly value your business.
It's an awesome manufacturing facility tucked away in beautiful Alpine, Utah. The Purple Mattress is somehow soft and firm/supportive at the same time. They have a big backorder on mattresses (as of 3/30/2017), so you most likely won't be able to leave with a bed, but most of the seat cushions are in stock and can be sold on-site. The seat cushions are perfect for desk jobs, sporting events, or long drives.
The place is tiny and a little hard to find. It seems the public showroom as an afterthought to an office for the company. They only had 3 beds, a classic, then 3 different sizes of the v2 bed(one of them was a half and half). They had a few seat cushions too. The place was busy, and there were not room for the amount of people there. So many people meant you didn't really get to try much for any real period of time.
The people were friendly, but again, they were busy the whole time.
The mattresses themselves were much firmer than expected. Didn't like any of them, decided not to buy.
Purple is an amazing company. Their mattresses are extremely innovative, so much so that new mattress companies have been trying to copy them. They recently came out with a pillow that is THE BEST PILLOW I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON, especially for sleeping on my side. It contains their trademarked Purple material that keeps the pillow cool, but my favorite thing about it is that it s sort of springy and soft. Their seat cushions are also wonderful. I love Purple s products.
The showroom was much smaller than I expected, and felt crowded, so I felt like I was herding my children out of peoples' way more than trying beds.
But the customer service was great and we got to see a lot of products that other stores don't feature.
There's a couple more products available then I saw on the website, via browsing, but a Google search for the specific item brought it up. (Metal bed frame, seat cushions, mattress protector).
Ordered a mattress protector and after waiting two weeks, received a disgusting, mold/mildew stained product that smelled like a damp basement! Made in China partially explains the problem. It's also worth noting that Purple only posts 5-star review on their website. With all of the quality competition in the market, I would not waste your time with this company.
Went to the show room to try out the beds. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The beds felt great to lay on. And you get a free little squishy purple sample to take home.
Worst company to ever deal with. Don't even bother they don't support law enforcement or non profit organizations unless there is something in it for them. GET SOMETHING ELSE
All I wanted to do was call and figure out what mattress would be the softest and order it. I have tried to call 3-4 times put my call back number in and no one ever calls back. I tried the chat line the agent got right to me I explained the problem I ve been having with communication. The agent then went silent for 5-10 min and never helped my issue. I don t understand I just wanted to order a mattress and power base.
I ordered a California King Platform Base by accident, needed the Queen. Called and they offer no returns, exchanges or refunds. They have a non existent return policy on anything BUT their mattresses (Which I tend to believe they only have that to keep up with competitors).
Its really sad because I like this platform base, I just ordered the wrong size. I won't be ordering a queen base from them because of this. BUYER BEWARE OF THEIR RETURN POLICY

Super helpful folks at the Purple Showroom. It's so important to be able to try out the Purple Mattress before you make your purchase. These are not cheap products so it's really important to try before you buy. Angela was knowledgeable, helpful, and sweet. She was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much for the help.
there is nothing "super easy" about the raw egg test. you try suspending a huge plate of glass above your bed that is released by pulling a string and only for the reason of landing completely uniform on top of your mattress to find out if some raw eggs will break upon impact. That has to be one of the least convenient and most complicated ways to find out if your mattress is "complete junk" that I've ever heard of. How about a test that people can actually use to find out if they should buy your product.
