When it comes to guaranteeing an amazingly fun, safe, and wonderful learning environment for your child over the summer, Purchase Day Camp is by far the BEST day camp in all of Westchester, NY. There is no other camp that I would trust with my child, who has attended Purchase Day Camp since she was 3. My husband is in law enforcement, and safety while swimming, at play, at drop off and pick-up was a high priority. As a teacher, I looked for a highly professional staff that would nurture our daughter while keeping her enthusiastically active and engaged in all the activities that PDC has to offer. On all accounts, Purchase Day Camp far exceeds all of our expectations. One more important aspect of the camp is that it can accommodate all campers indoors, with very little interruption to their camp schedule, if the weather is inclement. Our daughter is eager to get to camp to see what fun awaits rain or shine! We all just LOVE it here!! Ruthann & Michael Olsen
My sons both went to this camp many years ago, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Both were given excellent swim instruction and went on to become swim team member in high school and life guards throughout their late teenage lives. The only criticism is the crazy sign up for the camp. Perhaps that has changed, but I recall camping out in my minivan overnight to be in line for the opening application process at 8 am. Hopefully the registration has improved since the late 90's and early 2000's
