I would like you to know I am cancelling your services.

Up until today I have been very happy with the service I have received but i don't appreciate being told I am a liar.

I have been so impressed up until today to the point were I have recommended your service to multiple people and will be contacting them all to tell them not to use your services.

I called after I received a bill in November for only $14 and thought this was a mistake.

I called to speak to someone at Black Box Power (Pulse Energy) and they told me this was because my last bill was estimated and nothing to worry about.

I then got emailed a bill today saying I have $270 outstanding from a previous bill. I went back through my emails to see if I had missed something and there is no bill emailed since the bill I queried in early November.

I then called today to get clarification on why I was never sent the correct bill. The woman on the phone told me this was definitely sent out and I missed it. But I a looking at my email (which I do not delete any of) and there is no email on this date.

I requested that she forward me proof of the email (so it would include date and time stamp) of when this email was sent. I keep records of everything as I am in charge of our flat account. She then sent a new email just with the bill i received today.

I explained that this wasn't what I asked for and she said I definitely received the email but would not provide me with any proof. At this point I am obviously very frustrated and state I have not received the bill in question.

She then told me i'm confused and don't know whats going on. And she said that i was lying because she can see the bill has been posted online. At this point I hung because although I may have been frustrated that is simply an unacceptable way to talk to a customer.

Just lots of problems within the customer service dept.

They are the first power company that gave me so much problems.

1) When moving to new unit, they didn't inform me that the place is on pre-paid power(They knew this prior to switching me over), I had to get another power company to give me answers.

2) Over charged my bill on 2 occasions

3) When I decided to leave and had given them the 30 days notice, they still charged me an early termination fee in my last bill.

4) And what made it worst was they gave me 2 different final payment amount via email(How am I going to trust you are giving me the right quote?)

Very Disappointed by the services. Never returning as a customer.

Had a guy knock on our door promising that pulse is cheaper and we will save more money, transparent with their charges etc. It's all rubbish!! Beware of the hidden costs. I don't think they know exactly what they're charging for. I got charged $345 for this month's bill. No one home during the day, no heating , double glazed, fully insulated, lights not on until 8pm. I've never paid more than $300 in winter being with genesis for 10 odd years. These guys are a bloody joke!!! Not sure why we even trusted a door knocker! Lesson learnt, thats for sure!

Even though we paid on or before due date pulse energy deducting extra amount than the invoice .. when I contacted them they said there is a surcharge for debit card .... funny to hear surcharge for debit ... it .. if it is a single cent or a dollar They are chart means they have to mention on the invoice ... for me personally very poor experience

Would not recommend at all. Have been with pulse for a while now and they are far more expensive than any other company I have been with in the past. They tell you they have cheap power but fail to explain all the extra costs they add. I have now closed my account with pulse and have been trying to sort out a payment plan for outstanding account for the last month and have no correspondence from them other than when I called them or the letters threatening debt collection!I Have been told on three separate occasions they will call me back to sort and have now been waiting two weeks for a return call I have called again today and been told to wait for call again!! Worse customer service!!

Omg!!! Signed up a week ago got a $50 credit on account and for first day apparently $38.00 was used of power. I have no idea why the lady at customer service works here she couldnt explain why that was. My power company I was with wise power was better.. using 50 per week of power with 6 kids in a 4 bedroom house that was amazing. I wish I had never changed. I asked the door sales guy if i wanted to go back to wise within a week or 2 are there charges he replied no.. just to find out I have to pay $150 to leave.. Not HAPPY AT ALL

I have been very happy with Pulse. My experience is that the terms of use are transparent from the outset. There is no 'reward' for paying your bill in time - instead it seems like my power was just what it should be - affordable. When I had times of difficulty with my budget, I would let them know and they were patient and it wasn't a problem, no 'late fee'. I noticed a couple of other reviews say there were hidden fees, but I'm not sure what they mean, that hasn't happened to me and I've been with them for more than three years. Thanks for a great service.

Absolute rubbish company - I wish I could give a negative five star. I'm switching this month and would recommend all the future customers to not signing up specially with their door to door person; as all promises are fake and the customer service will come up with ridiculous excuses to back it up. When I was with other power company I never had to pay more than $150 but soon I signed up my bill is sky high but no change in my usual usage. This company was good at first. Watch out for the bill when you give them notice your leaving. They will quadruple! Then when you work out a payment plan, or even ask to, the will send it to a credit bureau no notice what so ever!

I was interested in pulse energy, until I had a bad experience with one of your employees who identified herself as rosie. She said she was fairly new to the job, that's no excuse for the way she treated me.ive now decided to go in another direction with another company. In my opinion, she seriously needs more training or shes just not right for representing your company.
