I had a great place in bolinao where was the best place or resort I've ever been to. It's pretty much rocky but it's all part of the bolinao or pangasinan area unless you go with the ilocos. But here are nice facilities enjoy my kids.
Awesome location.The beautiful beach is right in front of the hotel.They have this very cool restaurant right in front of the beach so you get an amazing view of the ocean.There is staff/ waiter close by who is ready to attend to all your needs.Excellent service. They have numerous selection of delicious, mouthwatering and fresh seafood in their menu prepared by excellent chef for sure :) Excellent food.We did not stay for the night but i went for a swim in their pools which was not bad.We went on a weekday so it's not crowded. The beach side was clean and well taken cared of with cabanas/huts for rent for the day if you dont intend to stay .It won't hurt to check out if you're looking for a summer getaway this year or any celebration or just want to chill out. Be trying their rooms next time I'm around there for sure.
Good resort. Staff has been very helpful. Food is okay. Beach is okay. Facilities are considered the best in the Bolinao area. They also have generators that will power the room ACs. Here are my not so good things to say:
1. They need to clean the hot tub as it stinks badly. It is also cold and not hot, it should be called cold tub instead.
2. They need to fix the toilet hardwares in the washroom. Shower heads are dilapidated and rusting.
3. Questionable door locks on the sliding doors.
If they fix those three items then I would rate it 5 stars. I will still come back there in a heart beat if Pangasinan is the only option for a beach retreat.
TIP:
Before you book call the resort and ask how many people will be staying to the dates you are thinking of booking. If the people are less than 40 or 50 there wont be any buffet.
Loved the place! Very relaxing. Complete with music by the infinity pool. Everything was thought of to make our stay secure and enjoyable. Great food. Great service
Nice property but signal is weak. Intercom is not working so we had a hard time contacting the front desk when we needed something. Also I think they should be more flexible in terms of how they charge extra person. Room rate is only good for 2 persons. I find it impractical specially that this is a resort, they must expect families would be staying and for them to set their rate to a maximum of 2 persons only is quite not reasonable. Housekeeping and restaurant staffs are nice.
Staff is friendly, however the beach is too shallow. At high tide, the water is up to the ankles only so most of the guests utilize the pool. With all the number of guests, you can just imagine how dirty the pool gets. We drove all the way from manila to be disappointed withe shallow waters and unkempt pool. :(
Love the place. Been there with my family 2x already. Very accomodating staff and complete with amenities like pools, jacuzzi, parks, and indoor games (billiards, darts, ping pong, indoor board games) all in the game room. Although never able to try the kayak because of the low tide. Ideal for those seeking tranquility, solace, enjoyment with family, having a private vehicle to go there and with a mid to high budget. For me the food was great and tasty as I'd expect and having complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner of our stay was a great bonus.
Very accomodating staff. The pools were great and the tour guide we had was very nice to us. Rooms were clean and you could see that there are a lot of staff roaming around the area. Food was amazing. Definitely will return again.
Very nice resort. Unfortunately, there is no evening program, which means that the bar will close at 21:00. It would have been nice if there had been live music or anything else. The resort is very expensive for Filipino standards. Outside the resort, you pay about a third of the prices as inside, but be careful - if you introduce something from outside, you have to pay the difference + a penalty. I did not like that at all, which is why I rate here only with 3 stars. We have in the hotel about 30 000 peso for drinks and when we on the last day 10 beers from outside the hotel wanted to take we were "punished". I have not experienced anything like this before. The staff is poorly paid and the tourists forced to pay high prices. One can imagine where all the money finally ends up ...
3 days and 2 nights we stayed from december 31, 2017 to january 2, 2018 where we had a new year but something else happened to enjoy our holidays..just all the staff are all good..the ambiance is beautiful, except at foods..the kitchen is so time-consuming that when we want to order for midnight snacks and foods we are no longer ordering as we just sleep on our hungry kids..here 24hrs the service comes to food because that's the most important At anytime the guest is hungry with the menu option in each room. I begged to cook even if my foreign husband hamburger because of the distance we did not go to the restaurant but we did not give it. 4pm I asked for an order but could not possibly end up hungry until dinner at 7pm. And the food is over and over once recycled when the night is still cooking tomorrow. Please try to get an idea on how to get the baler coming
in the buffet? One more thing, lacking in activities like surfing etc. Excursion tours are very expensive, they try to get a boat tour but we are very frightened as we are in the dark and we just made our shade so hard. I just want to comment on you. That's all and 1st and last we're going to be dissappoint ung foods ...
Beautiful beachfront resort with huge lush gardens and two big swimming pools in the middle of the villas. We stayed at the casitas (two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, small living room with fridge and TV) which were facing the beach and just a few steps from the water. Very comfortable and homey, quite kid friendly.
Beachfront is wide and sand is soft and a nice pinkish beige color that I've only ever found in Bolinao. At low tide you can walk out quite a distance and still only be in shin - deep water. Wait till high tide for the real water sports.
Restaurant is lovely and thoughtfully designed but the food quality is hit or miss, with some dishes very tasty and others tough and a bit bland. Service though is very solicitous all around, from the room attendants to security to lifeguards and maintenence.
Note that WiFi is only available in common areas so stock up on data plans before you get to your room.
We had a wonderful time and would come back.
From Manila, this place will take 7-9 hours drive. Accommodation - big rooms at Sitio Amore where we stayed. Infinity pool is in front of Sitio Amore, they also have main pool, jacuzzi, facilities are good. They have spa and water activities includes beach volleyball & kayak, but the beach during our stay went on a low tide, so no good for kayak.They allow karaoke at night and beach side dinner. The food is scrumptuous. Our team building package included a side trip to Bolinao Falls which is about an hour drive from/to Puerto Del Sol resort. Overall, good option at Patar, Bolinao.
The place is ok. The food is somewhat bland. We requested 2x service water in our room and we were given a water jug which we really appreciated. We requested again prior to check-out, and water now is for sale. Toinks! And it is a 9k/night unit ha.
Their servings services foods etc.. Is Good! And I'm happy with it.
A wonderful place with a lovely and white beach, perfect for a weekend (or longer) getaway from the busy city. The hosts are very welcoming and the venue is just what you need, it has all comforts. Warmly recommended :-)
We took the accomodation for casitas. It had a homey vibe. The place was good. The was good. Good staff attitude. The beach was okay but there were rocks under the sea so make sure to wear your slippers
It is a lovely quite resort. The rooms are clean. The water is pretty shallow during high tide. As long as you don't want to swim it is pretty to look at. There are only a few things to do in the area but you can be in another city in 45 min. My husband & I had a massage on the beach that was amazing.
The resort is decent and clean. The staff are courteous and attentive. Amenities are nice - they have a decent-sized pool, game room that includes billiards, darts, table hockey, they also offer tours. The breakfast is okay. You have to ask them to clean your room though.
Perhaps Puerto Del Sol in Bolinao, Pangasinan is one of the most beautiful and hospitable places here on Luzon that I've ever stayed yet in for two days and one night to relax and enjoy at a beach to beat the heat on a hot summer season. Hospitable crews and staffs, the yellowish-white beach, clean and beautiful surroundings, and the pricey food was great and satisfying. The wind that flows here are cold rather than hot especially this summer -- this is one of the beaches that I find the wind cold not hot. The public toilets and sinks are clean and the hot-and-cold option from my shower and sinks in my hotel room works well. But the things that I didn't find great was the water from the shower and sinks of my hotel room was salty and will make your skin and hair dry rather than silky smooth, the Wi-Fi connection is not fixed (sometimes its signal is high sometimes its low) and the less and blurry definition of the channels on the TV in my hotel room -- looks like powered by antenna connection rather than cable connection. Overall, everything else was great. I recommend this to everyone rather than Subic or Baler, the waters here are clear and unpolluted compared to Subic and Baler.

It took a long time to get to but totally worth it. The location was beautiful and the service was great! The staff were super friendly.
We loved the pools and jacuzzi. The food was terrific (although a bit pricey) and the rooms were very nice.
My only complaint... The jacuzzi was open at odd hours and not for long. Install a timer switch to turn it on it you want to keep costs down!
Place is very peaceful and clean. The gardens and flowers as you can see in my photos are all very well maintained and just gorgeous. The sunset here is mesmerizing (see photo thats not edited at all). The pools are big and plenty and since i was there on a weekday the place wasnt crowded and grounds are really big. They have a good sized playground for your little ones on a sand (safer) and near the pool so u xan look after your kids.theyr also have games room for the bigger kids! and kids at heart. The rooms are a bit pricey but came with free (set) dinner and breakfast. I believe we all have different standards to how good is good enough when it comes to food and this place wasnt so bad. I'll point out the good stuff first. Coffee is good and you can refill as much as you want. (i love coffee!!!) not the instant 3in1 kind. I never had the Filipino breakfast so i dont know wha thats like. But for the american breakfast eggs pancakes and even the fruits are great but sausage and hams were not good. The dinners i chose to buy from their alacarte after the first night of the not so satisfying limited complimentary dinner. And The sizzling gambas and seafood vegetable (broccoli cauliflower ) was good and really tasty.
Shame i didnt take a photo of the room. But it was a good sized room with a big bathroom. Bathtub tho with shower im NOT A FAN! getting on and off if you're not so young anymore could be dangerous. For a lovely place its weird that they used thin ugly rag in the bathroom (thats has got to go!!!) Another thing i like about this place is that you feel safe and secure they have many security very discreetly placed and also very efficient meaning do not just standing there they actually do their jobs in checking and assisting both At the entrance on the beach also the parking lot your cars will be safe and looked after. In the morning before breakfast the security actually approached us to inform us that our car has a flat tire and that they will send some of their staff to help us which they did and we are truly grateful for that!!! It made the job 10 times faster. So overall i was really happy with the place i could stay here if i'm ever visiting this area again, they are near awesome waterfalls and caves that are really worth exploring.(which we did) will review that too. They also keep their beach nice and clean every morning they get rid of sea weeds and rubbish. And they have volleyball net setbup thats cool! I hope they can also get rid of all those people selling you pearls all the time. To everyone Well done thank you!
Good place to enjoy your vacation with family and friends. Staff in here are courteous and welcoming. Rooms are nice since it gives a tropical beach experience because its over looking the sea. The food also they make in here is also good.

this place is very memorable to me because this is where my fiance proposed to me. :). we stayed here for two weeks and really made friends with the waiters and other staffs. theyre so friendly especially jerry that has always ready smile on his face. they have a fast room service. and i really appreciate when they gave us fruits for my fiance's birthday. the restaurant manager is kalog. we even have a wacky shot with him.lol. the resort is clean, workers r very very polite. the place is very relaxing. i just didnt like the water coming out of their shower and faucet. it really made my skin and hair dry. ugh! but i really had fun staying here. foods r great except the prices. :)

They have pools, beachfront, clean rooms. Food wasn't that great. Weak network signal.

Extremly Beautiful grounds. Staff was top notch. Food was really well presented and very tasty. Mansion Rooms were terrible. No one was even there during the week. Plenty of empty rooms. We should have been upgraded. No cost for them...this review would have been a five star. Shower curtains were dirty. Shower itself was almost dripping,no pressure whatsoever. Breakfast came with the reservation and is was really good. The Mansion rooms are in need of serious renovation. One more thing. I was trying to book though RCI for the past year. We talked to Management. We found out they only allot 3 rooms for RCI member. They need to reevaluate their business model. With so many empty rooms... they should open it up to more RCI members. That's thousands and thousands of business lost for Puerto Del Sol. That's money lost for renovating the Mansion rooms ... my two cents of a business model!!!
Its a high end hotel resort along Patar road in Bolinao. It prouds of its infinity pool, a serene ambiance with excellent garden for strolling, facilities are readily available. Came there durinf off season with affordable price for corporate groups. its very clean. security men are all around. the beachfront is highly recommendable for team building with pure white sand. the staff are accomodating and pleasant. An image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is imposing at the garden pool.
Price is worth it. 2 days stay should be enough. It has good amenities. Only downside is that, the beach is low tide in the morning. Dont know if everyday is like that. Ask the staffs first so you can plan accordingly.
Recommended place away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Privacy is good. A/C is weak. Foos is disappointing. Beach is dangerously full of corals(be careful when you walk). But customer service is great.

I would have given 2 stars because the personal was nice and the rooms are mostly clean. But Mr. Manager/Supervispr in the reception charged me for a local call to philipine airlines of 25min the same cost as my flight from the city to Palawan and back. A crazy big amount and when giving him my feedback about it, he was just laughing and smiling. Food was 2/5. Internet Very very bad and only at the reception or restaurant. No bar or food after 9pm. I was very dissapointed. Left the place feeling robbed and played because of the supervisor.
Had the resort to ourselves! Recommend going on weekdays to have a quiet resort (if that's your type of thing). Otherwise, weekends are cool. It starts to pick up Thursday and Friday so arrive early!
The food is a little bit expensive but it's a resort so you can't expect cheaper (hence the only food picture I uploaded - but don't get me wrong, it was still bomb!). There are other places outside which are more affordable.
Rooms were comfortable and were cleaned daily.
Outside food is not allowed.
They have the friendliest staff :).
As of October 20, there's construction to expand the resort so don't mind the noise during the day.
View of the beach is awesome, especially from the "infinity pool".
Wi-Fi is not as strong but it shouldn't be a problem if you're there to relax and soak in the sun. Strongest connection is by the bar near the infinity pool and by the Mother Mary statue/gaming area.
Yes it was nice, very cute hotel with a nice garden and swimming pool. But the food is just ok, according to what you order it's even not good.
But the room, yes it's nice, we have the sea front "bungalow", but 150$ for a room where you have to go outside to take your shower... Its little bit to pricey.
Other problem is the staff, they seems to be lost and not well trained.. specially the staff at the breakfast.
For me the best Resort in this area. Wonderful pools very clean with bar aside. Rooms were very clean and close to the pool. really good service personel. Beach is phantastic with astonishing sunsets. Restaurant offers a good selection of food. For me there is more than one reason to go back.
FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY!! My sister inlaw lost the receipt of the reservation fee, we had the bank on the phone to talk to the manager to give her a transaction reference number and tell the account number and name we deposited into the manager refused to talk to the bank the owner refused to talk to us so unfortunatly we lost 10k because of pure laziness the premesis is nice but small i have stayed at much much nicer establishments for a fraction of the price and unfortunatly the beach sits on the reef so you cant swim the lagoon next to the hotel has a bad smell almost as bad of a smell as the overpriced "food" they sell do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stay

Beautiful resorts but staff can still benefit from more training as they are not prompt in cleaning up utensils and plates used in in room dining service. Takes them 24 hours before attending to it.
If you have a good budget, this is one of the best resort to stay. Good food, accomodating staff, and really great views including big and comfortable rooms facing their beautiful pool. They also have a promo where you can visit their seaside cave.

My husband and I tried looking online for resorts in Bolinao where we could stay for our anniversary. The published rates for this resort were extremely expensive and without any first-hand experience in the area, we felt it was too much of a risk to book such an expensive stay. We ended staying in one of the cheaper resorts, which is a totally different story. We did however, decide to have dinner at this resort's restaurant as walk-in guests. I should've realized from the start that they made walk-in guests feel out of place. From the guard who reluctantly let us in to check out the restaurant and menu, to letting us park on the next lot and not even allowing drop off at the hotel's entrance, the waiters repeatedly asking us for our room number when we had already mentioned from the beginning that we were walk-in guests and not getting all of our orders despite the 25-30minute wait, up to the guard who wouldn't let us out the gate because he had no advice from the restaurant that we were cleared. They should know that walk-in guests can help them get more future clients. Clearly though, they were not willing to accommodate the likes of us. I would've wanted to come back to Bolinao and stay at Puerto del Sol but this brief but unpleasant experience has helped me make up my mind. Thanks, but no thanks, Puerto del Sol.
The staff are all very friendly and always greets guests with a smile. The place is very well kept. Very clean. The kitchen was very accommodating to cook something off the menu when we had to request for arroz caldo as my sister wasn't feeling well to eat what's on the menu, so that's a plus for me. They have an in-house wellness service too so you don't have to go outside the resort for a massage or foot spa. Food is awesome! Everything fresh. Although a bit pricey, I think it's worth it since the service is excellent!
We had a Great stay at this hotel for 1 night. Breakfast is awesome lots of selections, staff are friendly and professional, service is 4 stars, room is clean, sheets are smooth I love it, beautiful beach and pools, love to go back and stay longer. Thank you .
Tollers Resort on beautiful sandy beach (Puerto del Soul Beach Resort)
A little expensive, but worth the stay. Hotel is located directly on the wonderful sandy beach near Patar Beach, about 15km outside of Bonilao entfert. Very clean and well-kept hotel area with beautiful well-kept gardens and a very clean swimming pool. The restaurant has a eclectic menu with delicious oceanfront food. The persomal is attentive and very accommodating. Always worth a trip.
