Best private university of POA! The campus is in one place, so everything is very close by making it easier for the student to make chairs at different colleges. They are always innovating and offering new things, both in the physical environment and in courses and disciplines. The service is always good, I recommend 100%.

The infrastructure is OK, but not at all impressive, the prices are very high and the parking is not worth the price it pays for quality, but the college itself is OK, but nothing to be impressive.

University with broad structure. Buildings, computerized and comfortable rooms. However, an educational institution is not limited to this. Many teachers, especially in Humanities courses, are militant and ideologized. They do not comply with the didactic plan, and they preach a lot against the doctrine of the (Catholic) University. This is another point where PUCRS fails a lot, as religious education is almost nil. And even when taught, it occurs from a symbolic perspective, when it is not Marxist or ironic. I regretfully witnessed this attitude that is more widespread than exceptional in college. To those looking for a Catholic University, or Ideologically Exempt, I do not recommend it. Another: teachers miss many classes, without compensating.

Little student support, abusive charges, low infrastructure investments, I DO NOT recommend.

Great structure, the most modern library I have seen. The library is open to visitors, just register at the entrance. Wi-Fi is also available for those who register. In addition there are bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, ATMs.

Unfortunately, the institution did not adapt to the current situation in which we live.
Disrespect to the students regarding the maintenance of the credits' value, and the face-to-face classes now focus on distance learning. The institution has great savings in its structural expenses and does not pass it on to students.
When it comes to negotiating values, the University is irreducible and does not generate opportunity.
More aggressive behavior than financial institutions.
Too bad.
Not to mention that even in the face-to-face education issue, quality is in clear decline. The priority in the physical structure and not focused on teaching quality is visible.

Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, needs comment, among one of the powers of the south, Brazil, the BRICS, Latin America and of course, the World.

Excellent university. I thank God for having this opportunity to participate in it. Ample parking, bike racks, various places for snacks and lunches. Clean and very pleasant environment with plenty of nature. Huge library for studies. Huge infrastructure and quality education.

It had been pretty bad for years. Although currently I still have to change / I do not understand the pq of so much work if it is missing on other sides.

Given everything it offers in all aspects, it is without a doubt the best private HEI in the country.

Best University! Incredible teachers and staff, great places to eat well and have delicious coffee!
Inside there is everything: post office, shops, banks and pharmacies, to be perfect there was only one supermarket inside!
I recommend a trip to the library, a magical place, incredible!

I study at another institution, but I use the Puc library for research, as it has a wide variety of books and other materials.

One of the best and most traditional private universities in Porto Alegre, unfortunately in recent times is not giving due importance to research and what really matters in a university, education. Not to mention the meddling of the rectory in the elections for the directories.

I did not study at PUCRS, but I did the ENADE in building 50, and I was impressed with the structure, places to eat, library. all very broad.

After parking the car, you should find signs for the main locations within the Campus ... but there is not !!!!

Regarding the crime until recently ... ALWAYS HAD things like that (I heard about a robbery in that parking lot in 76!).
And in the mid-90s sexual crimes in the 40's (still under construction).
I don't understand why 'whoever killed the miscreant should be punished / the like'.

Great college, plenty of grove, the university restaurant is not the best but the coffee at 17:30 is great, variety of products!

Best college in RS. Great location in the city which allows residents of all regions to enjoy. It has an updated infrastructure and offers tremendous support to students.

Structure is good, teachers and labs very good. Internet very bad. You are 1 m from the router and the network does not connect. Bar snacks are expensive. It is a very good university, but it takes advantage of those who work all day and ends up having a snack out of necessity rather than choice. Parking is the same thing. Probably in 2017 will increase to $ 6.00 or more if no significant improvement.
