Publix Super Markets Review

It's a wonder to buy here and for me it's special because I do not speak English and there's always someone who helps me looking for Latino employees to be interpreters

This is my least favorite Publix in town! They never seem to get it right in their deli!! This is not my first rodeo with them either however today 9/6/16 I order a sub at 1:45pm to be ready at 2:10pm. I always online order my subs because I get a limited lunch break. I get there at 2:20pm sub is not ready so I ask the boy behind the deli counter if I'm in the right place he tells me I am, so continue to ask about my sub that obviously is not in the pick up area. He asks around never telling me that they would get on it... So I wait paitiently until I finally ask again after seeing the guy making subs, continue to make subs for customers and even for employees on their lunch break but not me. I said "is anyone going to be making my sub!?" So finally he gets a lady to come an do it. She then tells me she is out of the kind of bread I wanted... At that point I was over it. I just said I had to get back to work so forget about it. She didn't really seem to care. I guess to her that was just one less thing she had to do.
I had ordered early enough in the day that she or whoever could have made fresh bread or called and told me they would be out so I didn't drive all the way there to waste my lunch break. I would have still gotten the sub it was just the point. Every other Publix that messes up in this way (which has happened I don't expect everyone to be perfect) they make sure they get right on it and always going above and beyond for their customers, apologizing up and down but not this Publix... Not even an apology for not having it made. I have even gotten free subs before from Publix's (not ever this Publix) that may have been late getting ready or what not . I really hope this manager reads this as I would have liked to have spoken to one personally however I have a limited time for lunch.

Every time i come to this Publix i feel uncomfortable. I spend my money/ foodstamps/whatever i have and still get disrespected and have people bother me.

They need to change. Not me all i want is to purchase my food and leave without the friction and people judging.

It is clean and we'll stocked. I like the recipe tastings they hav. They even will cook Lobster and crab legs to go.

I went to the bakery and asked for a freshly baked apple pie and it was no problem. Great customer service!

Most of the staff is great, I definitely like the managers... I guess we're never going to have disinfectant wipes again, I've been looking for them for weeks.. not much in the way of cleaning supplies.. not much for hot dogs or bacon or frozen dinners... Really not sure why the shelves are so bare.. no one offered to take my groceries out,also saw a few older than myself taking their own groceries out to their car and they could barely walk.. so I understand there's covid-19 but I don't see why they're not helping people put their groceries away..

Had a problem but management quickly went above and beyond to fix the issue. This is a great store!

Publix is history to me. Always clean and we'll ordered. Now expanding their services to provide the excellent customer service they are known from. From childhood I've always seen faces working there that looked like me. Everyone is important at publix.

Shopping w/ my 15 yr old in a wheelchair can be quiet a hassle, but not at THIS Publix. While walking out to my car ( pushing a wheelchair & buggy) I had 2 employees see me struggling & go out of their way to help! Truly refreshing & the EXACT reason I shop here.

Food was cold , took 30 mins to make 3 plates ....sucked.

Always bright an extremely clean looking. All the employees are always polite. Never any random carts stashed all over the place. And way less people in the way then at Walmart. I wish you wouldn't have to find the coupons as you shop, but definitely better then no coupons lol.

I am a customer for many years in public, so this experience I had today was definitely very unpleasant since the cashier had a very bad attitude and was very rude. I explained to her that there were some offers to buy one and the other for free and with a very bad attitude she told to the bagger to go and find out looking badly to the sides with a very very very bad attitude so I am discouraged to return to this Publix again.!!!! Cashier name: Destiny M.....!

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The pharmacy. Is helpful and respect your wants and needs.we enjoy our shopping trips to Publix . Very clean and well stocked

I went to publix like always and an employee name Ray was so rude to me for no reason. He spoke to me with out giving me eye contacts, he was extremely rude and he was not professional . He asked me if I want to purchase something from the lottery place or I am going to check my tickets. I told him i have to check the tickets. I handle my tickets to Ray and he was not giving eye contact. he couldn't scan one of my tickets , He told me with an attitude that next time i suppose not to band the tickets. rude and awkward, he did give me $ 12 . i did not ask for the money I want more tickets but Mr Ray decided for me what to have. no professional at all. I was mad i went and I spoke to the manager , he was next to one of the ails he was I think a different department manager. He was polite he did apologize he empathy and he told me that he will follow up with the situation. When i went out to my car I called the store manager and told him the story he did apologize and he told me that Ray is one of his best employee. At that moment I was shocked to have a employee like Ray as the best employee, is a disaster for Publix. Shopping with pleasure is not any more with employee like Ray at publix .

Very disappointed with this visit, the young woman at customer service was quite rude, certainly did not make me feel like a valued customer.

Public Super Market has a lot of non GMO products and the staff are friendly courteous and helpful. Needs more fresh organic vegetables.

I can truly say this is MY Publix because I have been employed here for 14 years. We have a Store Manager and Assistant Manager who truly care about both the associates and the customers. We carry a very wide variety of housewares and health/beauty items as well as nearly every food item you can think of. We are also continually expanding our selection of organic fruit and vegetables. I can get everything I need for my healthy lifestyle, and for my cat, Willie, without making an extra stop! ,Come shop with us soon!

Publix Pharmacy, today's visit, as well as all the other departments in Publix has always been helpful and a efficiently run, with great pride taken in customer service.
I've lived in Florida since 1977 and I can sincerely say without any doubt of mind Publix is the by far the best food store in south Florida. I only limit myself to South Florida because I haven't lived north of the Big Pond in the center of this Fantastic State of ours and I can truthfully say I feel like Plublix is part of the reason why Florida is such a great place to live work and play.

A mother's nightmare when her adult son leaves home to move to Florida to begin a new job and gets very sick. Him home alone with no food and me distraight at the realization no one can take of him. No food in the house and flat on his back. Being a loyal Publix customer I relied on my instincts that somehow Publix could help. And they did. In short time they arranged a short list of itemsto be delivered to him. This is what makes Publix excel above the rest. Customer service that goes above and beyond. This place offers great quality products but the service is not the best. Today I passed by with my family and we were kindly waiting to get assisted. She seemed busy so we asked if it was alright to cash out there. She responded very rudely and we were forced to walk away and go into another lane.

Publix is exceptionaly friendly, excellent customer service. The store is extremely clean.

I always enjoy myself when I visit public my grandbaby waving hi to everyone it took me a minute to realize that's why everyone that pass ideas speaking to her an than I went to the customer service and ask where they keep the charcoal the person that waited on me said I'll go get it now what I left out was was looking for one of the electronic wheel chair an the customer service person said you can sit over there on the bench until one comes in I told her thank you but I told her I was alright so I had my grandbaby by the hand trying to get a regular cart of course she wasn't trying move some lady was talking to her so I let her an went and got a cart so of course while I tried to put her in the cart she didn't want to get in the cart struggling to get her in the cart and she gets in the cart and she loved it by than the young lady that was helping me comes back with the charcoal an it was a really big bag so I ask her her was there a smaller bag she said an gladly went and got the smaller one that's why I love public you can't be there customer service

Excellent and made to order subs. Bakery fresh breads and sweets.

I Love Publix, they are all excellent places to shop, Every Single Store has the friendliest employees and the different departments are ALWAYS knowledgeable and efficient.

YoYo in the deli is an awesome sandwich artist! She knows how to make them and the way she does it shows she cares. Give that girl a raise and have her train the others!!

I purchased a hummus wrap That was delicious! Amanda in the deli was very nice and very speedy It always makes for a great experience when people are smiling and happy I will definitely go to this public's again and order from the deli thank you Amanda!

Let me start by saying "I prefer to shop at publix and spend more money because the store is always clean and employees are all very nice and helpful."
My visit this morning started normal and ended much different.. the store was slow, most employees were standing around smiling and saying hi!
I only had a few things and went to express check out. I said Good Morning.
The young man never responded or looked at me while he rung up the groceries. He pushed all the items down while I paid. As I put my card back in my wallet I glanced at the young man while he pushed the items further towards me. I started bagging them as I put the first bag in my cart he pushed the rest down again, he actually moved the bags he had out of the way so he could push them further down. He never looked at me or said a word as he turned and started fidgeting with his phone. I got the same feeling that I get the few times I have to go to walmart. This kid had an attitude, clearly did not want to be where he was and surely made me aware he did not care!

Publix... please do not grow past the care for your customers! This may have been a once in a blue moon issue, but for the first time in my 20 year shopping experience in one of your stores I felt like I was in the way and just part of a process and left angry!

Nice store very clean. Easy to find what you need. Easy quick checkout.

Great customer service all around from stockers to deli help, checkers and baggers. I am always in one of the shopping scotters and everyone is alway so helpful and help take out my groceries all the way to the car.

I've been shopping at this Publix for about 3 or 4 months now and have found from the service of the employees, the quality and freshness of the food I am not willing to settle for less elsewhere. Thank you Publix for making shopping what it should be.

Well, strike 2 I usually shop at publixs and have a good experience. This time however the deli department let me down again. We ordered 5 subs@ 3:17 , they confirmed the order for pick up @ 4:10 . I got to the counter 4:11 and they said my order wasn t ready. They told me it would be another 10 minutes. 25 minutes latter I had my order. During this waiting period I watch other customers order and leave with their 6 subs in a basket. This is the second time this has happened. Why do you take orders online if you re going to wait to make the order, once people show up. The best part was the sub I ordered an Italian was not made, they made an ultimate sub instead. So here s your order 25 minutes late and it s also incorrect. Thanks for shopping at Publix s

They are not as big as some of the other Publix, and that's what I like, cause I can go and get what I need more quicker, friendly, helpful customer service.

Everything about Publix makes it superior to other grocery stores. From it's smooth rolling carts and friendly staff to their variety and quality.

Somehow My meds kept coming up missing. A pill here and there. Then the last time I had 13 missing. So I said something to them. Their answer go somewhere else to get your meds. You don't get an audit from the DEA for no reason.

Love the cleanliness of the store and friendly staff. Id shop there more if the prices were lower

Came here to get a chicken tender meal. I waited 5 minutes and I was yet to be served before the sandwich makers used up all the chicken tenders before I could order any. People ordering meals have the least priority everytime I go here because I constantly have to wait to be served even if I'm first in line.

Fantastic there were plenty of clerks not like Harveys with a skeleton crew. I love my publix. Would even like to work for them.

If I am in the area of Northgate Publix, I always make a point to stop if I need to do some shopping. It is never crowded and it still has the same high quality Publix is known for.

probably one of the best pizzas I've ever gotten from Pizza Hut. The crust was outstanding. Just the right amount of sauce. Top Notch job. Thanks guys!
