Publix Review

Hey, so-called deli. Ran out of bread at 8pm. Maybe you can get some more at the store, wait you are the damn store. Try making some bread, how 'bout that....Also, been to a lot of Publix Stores, crazy slow employees. Publix you can do much better.

Jarod, one heck of a guy, saved my baby while in the parking lot from a near tragic collision. Thank you Publix and thank you Jarod for your quick reflexes and eagle eyes.

Everything great as always EXCEPT...when I checked out, the kid (male) did the checking while the man (special needs) and very very slow bagged....painfully slow....and I had to ask the checker to help the bagger. #1 He should know to help. #2 If you can't bag groceries at a reasonable pace, why are we forcing these people into the workplace? The bagger clearly doesn't have the capacity to do the job. Sorry if that's harsh.

It's a little pricey but sometimes it's worth it not to deal with the denizens of Walmart.

Great place. Staff is so friendly and considerate. And they have some terrific sales.

This is the place if you are looking for exceptional customer service. They carry every grocery item you could ever ask for. If they dont have somethibg they will order it for you. Employers are friendly and extremly helpful, from the shelf stockers to the employees who will push you cart to you car and load it for you (no tipping allowed). I only wish all stores and businesses treated their customers half ad goid as Public

Best Publix around! Staff are very helpful and kind. They make some of the best subs and are always offering new things they think I may like based on my previous orders.

I was actually dreading going today to shop with all the hurricane craziness. But I came to Winter Haven Square Publix and it was actually an enjoyable experience. They had everything on the shelves that I needed and everyone there was very friendly. Even the other customers were nice, probably because that was the whole atmosphere. Thank you Publix for having enough people to help and enough aisles open for checking out and for constantly stocking your shelves. Great job!

Such an incredible grocery store. Everything is organized and clean. The food choices are vast and prices are competitive. Every employee, and I do mean EVERY employee, is knowledgable and willing to help out. I don't how how they do it but they employ the best of the best. Would gladly pay double for this kind of quality!!

I have never been to a Publix store ever. I didn t even know what it was. We don t have Publix in Hawaii. I moved here in September of last year. So when I was told this is where you get the best fried chicken.. so I ventured out. So I googled the store and found one that wasn t too far away. I had gone to one in Lakeland and was like wow. But then I went to the one in winter Haven. From the moment I walked into that store I was even more impressed. Very clean. Well stocked with so many different things. The chicken is fantastic. The sandwiches are out of this world. But most importantly.... the people that work there. Everyone was so friendly and smiling. You also employ some special needs people for which they are the most kindest people always smiling and wanting to help take my groceries to my car. Even the guys that gather the carts are like I will take your cart. There have been times I ve been sad about things going on in my life.. that particular store always makes me smile. I look forward to my shopping days to that store. Makes me smile because I m treated so well there. Even during the pandemic. I make sure I thank everyone for what they are doing for us keeping us safe. From the checkers to the stockers and most importantly the ones who wipe done the carts for us so we are safe. The first time I thanked the cashier for all they do.. she looked at me and said wow thank you for saying that. She said most don t say thank you.. I do every time I go. Which is once a week. Love the buy one get one free deals. But all and all kudos Publix for always making me smile and thank you for what you do.

Very, very nice store. Employees are. great, and very helpful in many ways. Product shelves are very well arranged, neat, and attended for refill as needed.

Poorly stocked, poor quality produce section with minimal choices of rotting, withered produce. High priced groceries, overall. My LEAST favorite place to go grocery shopping in FL. See any Walmart Superstore in FL or Aldi as an alternative. #missmyKroger

Told the "manager" there was 5 people with full carts in one open register. Finally she opened up.

Friendly hometown grocery store feeling, my store for last 17 years !

I asked for a quarter pound of turkey for a small lunch salad. The deli lady slices up .57 lbs which to me seems like well over half a pound. I'm no genius tho so i asked "is this a QUARTER pound?" She said yes so i thought there was a secret Publix code in the weight system. So here i am with an excessive amount of meat on a tiny amount of romaine thanks to the dear old lady who either can't hear or is filling in for someone else in the meat department.

just what I've come to expect from their deli department slow unresponsive and unprepared. If it wasn't for the fact that I love Publix chicken I would never set foot in this place again

The pharmacy employees are so rude and arrogants with the clients.

Very good, I live closer to the other store on cypess garden Blvd. It's terrible any many ways.no good comments.

You know what I find sad about this company I just came here just for the ATM but as I walked to my car I see an older gentleman pushing carts in this crazy forsaken heat. Meanwhile young people all inside.

It's like any other Publix. Not much of a beer selection, though.

Shopping here really is a pleasure. Stores are always clean and personnel are knowledgeable and helpful. Everything in all departments is fresh - and tasty!

I luv Publix ! ...but I didn't like that I couldn't buy just 1/4 chicken smoked white meat ...I don't eat dark meat

Always friendly employees and so close to home, I go there for their fresh produce and their weekly deals on things I love like Blue Bell Christmas Cookies Ice-cream

I was visiting Winter Haven and had ordered several different items chicken tender, wings and sandwiches. They had the wrong date and was quite upset. Mindy jumped into action and got the order within 20 min. Thank You Mindy.

Take a company years to build a reputation and 1 pharmacists 3 seconds to ruin it.
I was at Publix at 7:15pm on12/10/19, as Dr. Lambert told me that an antibiotic was ready to be picked up at Publix and that my mother MUST IMMEDIATELY begin taking. The pharmacists was immensely rude and had NO answers that even made sense. Not even enough space here to explain. Will be cimplaining to manager, district manager and to ANYONE that would consider listeng. This lications pharmacists totally sucks and is over the top rude!!

I love my Publix. Everyone for the most part is amazing the only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 is the deli . It's hit or miss with them. Sometimes I get friendly associates and sometimes not . There is a girl named Franny . When I see her working I avoid the deli because she is disconnected from the entire operation and rude , but everyone else is amazing in this store .

I just to give out a shout out to amber the assistant store manager and everyone else that helped her in my dilemma.... I am a truck driver, always out on the road and this morning my beautiful baby girl had a beautiful baby boy at winterhaven hospital...I called and talked to amber and helped me send her the most amazing gift basket, flowers, cake and snacks that I could had only imagined...she and her associates worked very hard and did and amazing job...and even sent me pics of it before delivering it to the hospital...thank you, thank you everyone at publix and especially amber who made it all perfect...kudos to you all..!!!..from a very proud mother and grandmother...

My favorite local grocery store. Fresh bread, wonderful deli and bakery, always fresh fruit and veggies and I buy all my meat and fish there. But the best thing about my Publix on Cypress Gardens Boulevard across from Legoland is the superior customer service. Staff is always friendly and helpful and appreciates my business.

Merchandise is plentiful. Lots of choices. Clean. Associates are polite and professional.

Tired of new stuff replacing my std products, but the music had gotten better
