What a great tour ! lovely and friendly staff with great view of the whales, also learnt a lot about the whales from the lady on the deck and she explained so many details about the whales' activity. Highly recommended ! Thank you so much @ Whales In Paradise

Really great tour. Plenty of seating & very generous with the free tea, coffee & biscuits. I also appreciate that they sold sea sickness pills for $3. The photo at the start of the cruise is a nice touch as well for $20.

Crew was very friendly & we had some great whale sightings. We went on the 2:30 cruise and it was so beautiful to see the sunset as we were heading back.

I'm not a big tour person, but this one is run really well.

Bring sunscreen and a cap. Great way to see whales in the wild. Chances to spot orcas , him back whales and dolphins. We saw dolphins and pod of whales. On the way to ocean you will see many celebrities houses. Specially loved jacky Chan s house.

The tour can be quite choppy if the weather is not good. Strongly recommend to get the premium to secure your ticket money if you cant see any whales at all.

Highly recommended. There is plenty of parking nearby and the ticket office is easily accessible near the wharf. The crew are very helpful & are skilled in finding whales. I took my elderly mum on a cruise a while back with Whales in Paradise also & everyone was so kind to her given she wasn t used to being on a boat. Thank you for the awesome whale memories.

What an experience, from the moment the 9 of us boarded we new we were in good hands...
The crew welcomed us aboard with smiles and laughter and a quick family portrait photo.
With confidence and assurance we cruised out to the Pacific Ocean ready to see some humpback whales.
A magic morning had set the scene for what was about to unfold.
2 whales had decided to go human watching and we were their decided few.
As we learned we got 'mugged'.
For half an hour these 2 humpbacks were swimming under and around the Whales in Paradise boat, 'Spy hoping' tail slapping and just being playful all the while we humans had eyes and lenses locked, capturing these magical moments for a life time of memories.
Thanks to all the crew at Whales in Paradise for such a wonderful adventure.

Up close and personal, saw so many Whales and the staff run a friendly and informative commentary on the whales and got everyone involved in the spotting. Great fun and a great whale watching tour.

Amazing day out so many whales, dolphins and beautiful scenery too!! Friendly crew and an awesome vessel built especially for extra viewing at different levels. All round a great family trip in the great outdoors.....

Great whale watching trip, very good crew, highly recommended

Fantastic afternoon out on the water. The vessel was clean, well maintained, and fit for purpose. Despite having around 100 guests on board, there are more than enough vantage points for viewing. The crew where efficient and friendly, and the skipper kept us entertained with both factual commentary and comedic banter. Great way to get out and awe at these majestic giants of the sea.

Totally awesome experience one I will never forget . Crew Wayne ,Toby and Sheridan were amazing. Allowing my partner Troy to suprise me on board with a proposal. Totally unexpected and memorable. Whales and dolphins approached our vessel, the dolphins interacted, playing and jumping out of the water. I got amazing pictures of the whales flute. Thanks guys for topping off our surfers paradise experience.

A sunny day and perfect conditions. Saw many whales doing their "tricks". The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. It was great to learn so much about whales and their behaviors. A very enjoyable afternoon.

I was very skeptical about this trip. But it was really good. Decent boat with a good ride, free tea and coffee and some snacks. We spotted quite a few whales with informative and capable staff

Whale watching that can be organised same day and departs from surfers paradise river, so close to tram and hotels. An experience not to be missed.

Far too many people on one boat. Hardly saw a thing with everyone trying to see. 90% got sea sick!!! Less people would have been so much better

Great crew and boat. Saw loads of whales and we were lucky enough to see a couple of breaches as well. Perfect day out for the family, a must do activity whilst visiting the Gold Coast.

Best day ever. Went in August and saw soooo many whales, had a couple come right up to the boat. It was such a surreal experience. The staff were really kind and informative, I recommend this to everyone. 10/10

A really great trip, highly recommended! Thanks to the crew for making it a great day out. Everything was enjoyable, from the friendly booking staff to the actual trip itself. Commentary from Aaron was appreciated and made the trip interesting and informative. Even early on in the season the crew managed to find the whales without any problems.

Fabulous day out seeing numerous whales at very close encounters. Even saw a huge school of fish and dolphins on the journey home. Only down side was lots of other passengers being sick as it was quite rough on the way out to the dolphins otherwise terrific

Lovely, friendly, down to earth crew/staff! Makes the experience that bit more personal and I enjoyed every moment of it!! They were putting on an amazing show. Love love loved it! TAKE MY MONEY!

P.s tried to capture photos but also wanted to experience it without being glued to a screen. So the photo is poor quality but I do have a video I will comb through!

Every year is always special and so worthwhile doing..No it's not the same as seeing from your hotel window. Every experience is different.

Very strange experience with this staff. Did not want to help us book or understand the trip at all - just said anything we wanted to know should already be online. Very impatient, bordering on rude.

This whale watch cruise was the best thing we have done on our holiday! The crew members were very welcoming and the driver was so funny! Loved all his jokes! The whales we saw were unreal! Got to see a mum whale and a baby flapping it's tale and jumping out of the water! Recommend this cruise to anyone that wants a good time and a laugh!! Good job

We had an excellent time whale watching on Whales in Paradise. The boat is nicely appointed and clean, and the crew were professional and very personable throughout the trip. There aren't really any poor seats on the boat, but generally sitting towards the front was better, since once a whale is spotted in the distance, the captain will turn the boat to approach and those sitting up front have the best viewpoint. Highly recommend taking some anti-nausea medicine prior to boarding, as once you are out in the swells and not underway, the boat does move quite a bit and caused some other passengers to become sick. The crew had tablets for sale on board for a few dollars, which is well worth it. On our afternoon tour we saw at least a dozen humpback whales, including tail slaps and a few breaches. Lovely way to spend the afternoon out on the water.

Amazing! We saw lots of whales . The staff are great and really friendly. The free tea and coffee, along with the free biscuits are a welcome treat.

My wife and I managed to reserve the last trip 14:30 on September 23,2018 the night before. With the guide from friendly and dedicated staff, we learned that two groups of whales including one with a visible wound on its back were in the vicinity. Apart from showing their tail fins, a whale did two acrobatic displays and my patient wife captured the sights in her video!

Best way to start the day! Beautiful boat, fun people, great atmosphere, good coffee & amazing scenery. We were fortunate enough to see on our trip a number of whales including a baby, a sleeping whale and a number of whale pods (including some massive guys!). Luck was on our side also getting a spectacular show by a massive pod of dolphins who loved playing on the front of the boat. Lucky enough to see a turtle too. Amazing morning out, I will definitely be going again and can highly recommend whales in paradise. Thank you crew for a great Sunday!

Wow - what a wonderful experience. We went on the 8.30am cruise with Skipper Wayne. The tour was informative, friendly and very professional. We saw loads of whales and had an awesome time. The kids loved it as well.

had an amazing trip out whale watching, saw whales within the first 10 minutes being out on the water. The crew were very friendly and knowledgable, had a fantastic time, would recommend it to anyone

It was a pretty good experience and we had a lot of fun, Thier commentary was good and staff members were very helpful. They also served us complimentary tea and coffee, but both of them were really cold and not good in taste. While the trip there were cold breezes so we were given blankets that helped a lot. They had chips, chocolates and others things on payment but they didn't have any variety. Other than this, we got to see a bunch of whales breaching, and all of them were pretty close... So our experience was quite fun and worth going.

One of the best parts of our trip was whale watching.

Amazing team and the excursion was fantastic. The 2 little points I could raise is probably the quality of the food and the time between activities but in general I recommend the tour suitable for children and adults. The captain was explaining a lot about the island and the neighborhood.

These guys were very good. The whales came good just as our time was ending and they extended the time for our trip by half hour to make sure we got the experience. This indicates they wee focused on giving us a great time rather than rushing to get another group out. Thanks guys

I went to the camera with a camera and turned out to be an idiot. I put it in the car ...
The whole process is three hours in case everyone swallows seasickness medicine (the staff will ask every question if they need to follow Yiyi)
It s so dangerous to eat, it s really dazzling ... I did n t have the energy to look out after going to the end of the medicine and fell asleep for almost an hour and a half.

My wife and I booked the Dolphin Snorkel tour and it was Brilliant!
Fantastic Value. Great lunch. The whole crew was amazing! We booked the transfer which was also good value! Special shout to Julian Millichamp.
Don t hang around they book up fast!!

Had the most amazing morning with Whales in Paradise. They waisted no time in locating a pod of 16 whales and we stayed with them for almost an hour, it was breathtaking. The company were easy to deal with, super friendly and knowledgeable staff and the boat was perfect with lots of viewing areas. The tour left from The river in Surfers Paradise and parking was really easy in the big car park near by. Had the bonus of viewing some amazing waterfront homes on our way out to the sea. A must do when visiting the Gold Coast.

Great service and very fun crew! Had a really great time whale watching with this team. We almost did not manage to catch any whales but the captain and team persevered and even stayer much later to ensure that we'll be able to see them. Very dedicated to what they do. Commentary by matt was very funny and made waiting for whales to show up so much more bearable. Will definitely use this service again if I'm going back to gold coast.

Surfers Paradise always a great place to spend one or two days. We were told by the nice assistant at Whales in Paradise that whales in summer do migrate therefore it s impossible for whale watchers to see them in Gold Coast before the month of May. Let s wait then!

Food quality was so bad they served forzen roasted chicken. Staff people was good but overall nothing to watch there excited

The staff are all good people. Customers come from many countries. I did not see a lot of whales at my time, whales in front of eyes as I expected! ! It was not. I think according to the timing.
