Because you people need to flag opiate user hospital ER are ruining my relationship

Got admitted to the ER late night and Dr. Wang treated me. He is an excellent doctor who took the time during a busy ER night shift and actually diligently dealt with my condition and explained everything, also answered my questions. He is very dedicated to his patients, did everything that mt PCP didn't ever do and even asked me to come back for follow ups, which is way beyond his capacity as ER doctor, but it really shows how diligent he is. Went back for follow ups few days later and he was working at another section yet still took the time to see me and discuss how I feel and what my next steps should be. Very knowledgeable, great doctor and also very diligent human being who just makes you feel comfortable around him and his team. Very grateful that he made my bad experience with my illness a little better! Also ER team in Tarzana Hospital is very nice, professional and diligent!

Let me start off by saying ive been to this hospital twice. First time for a miscarriage which took forever to get results back. But the doctor was extremely nice and caring. The nurse not so much asking me "your only here to see how far along you are huh"? I said no ive been bleeding all day. Second time for abdominal pain and the doctor and nurse on the floor were very nice. The "rn" behind the computer doing nothing was very rude and gave me the worst attitude ive ever encountered, 8:30pm june 6th 2017, the white lady. Doctors are nice and alright but some nurses need to be fired.

Used to be such a great hospital, now it's horrible!

Our 97 year-old friend fell. We visited with her doctor, in his office, and he made arrangements for her to be admitted to Providence Tarzana Medical Center. (hospital)

There is much construction at the hospital. The best way to enter is from Reseda Boulevard, turning into Clark Street. Lots of signs provide directions. Paid and valet parking is available. The multi-story parking structure has elevators.

After passing through a magnetometer my friend, in a wheelchair, was wheeled to the emergency room. I was provided an ID badge and followed. The emergency room is buried deep in the hospital and requires following a circuitous path, posted on floor tiles. Luckily we had a guide.

We were greeted at the Emergency Room. Her information had been transmitted by the doctor's office. She was immediately admitted. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The emergency rooms are small, only one visitor is allowed at a time. This rule is strictly enforced.

The waiting room has a phone charger, tv, and uncomfortable chairs. The nearest bathroom is to the right and just around the corner. The cafeteria is to left, down the hall.

Of course, everything is ADA compliant.

Update: Three days later, our friend was transferred to a rehabilitation center. The doctor says, she is showing amazing progress and should be able to return to her past life style.

Dr Holtz is such a sweetheart. I went in when I had a cough that wouldn t go away she prescribed me medicine and was courteous and nice to me

Went to visit ER. Nursing staff will not give a hoot if you're not having code blue. They didn't show us the call light nor instruct us where is it. The nurses only came back twice on 8 hour period. We had IV going and the nurses have not returned. The blood is flowing back in IV tubing. We asked for nurse nothing. They could care less. And we came in very early in morning with not much patient around. And they call it emergency nursing or nursing for that part.

I had a small surgery here. Staff is highly professional, kind and caring. I had an issue with payment, but it was resolved quickly.

when i was checking in there i had to wait an hour just for a room to be available =( that was so horrible but. but i became happy again on january 11.2013 i delivered my baby boy here. the nurses and doctor's where so nice during my delivery even though i was alone i felt like i was in heaven. i would definitely deliver all my children here. after my son was born i was so weak & had high blood pressure and fell in the hallway the nurses didn't even laugh they helped me up and comforted me they felt like family - after my circumcision my doctor came to check on me and my son he was such a sweet man ! the food was good - the janitors where so nice i really had a wonderful experience here :) however my delivery room was warm & had a nice tv in it but when they moved me to my 3rd room (the room i was to stay at until discharge) was so freakin cold the air conditioners where broken on that floor i did not like that at all =( . . . i only know about the maternity ward .

I was transferred there by my insurance for emergency Gallbladder Surgery. They are awesome ! They took care of me perfectly. Dr. Chandra did the operation great. He is the best.
Nurses are so kind and professional. Lara is one of the best nurses there.

After my surgery I was not prepared for the healing process and all the pain. I thank God for Aneesa,Leticia, Jessica, Diane, Michelle and Myrtle.
These nurses are amazing.! They are so supportive and extremely attentive. I don't know what I would have done without their help. Anyone who says anything negative about this hospital weren't fortunate enough to be cared for by these wonderful women. Thank you ladies.

My son was admitted to this hospital for a high jaundice level only days after being born. We got transferred over from Providence in Mission Hills. Our nurse Randy from the night shift in the PICU, was AAAAMAZING. Literally nothing short of that, he himself deserves 5+ stars!! He was so kind and compassionate towards my son, my husband & I. He is a true definition of a nurse! Everyone from the night shift in the PICU was nice! The doctor (caucasian woman) was very informative & treated us with dignity. She told us that our sons jaundice was not on the rise and that he was going to be just fine. On the other hand... The day shift in the PICU was not compassionate and did not treat us with dignity. The doctor (tall-ish older short haired woman) was the complete worst!!!!!!!!! And her accomplice nurse (tall skinny older asain woman)!! I can't even imagine how that doctor was able to be given the privilege to work with babies. This hospital needs to reevaluate her asap. She literally forced what she wanted, upon me and my husband. She did not care for our feelings or that she was not our sons legal guardian. She forcefully made the decision to feed my son formula, when he was a breastfed baby. She had me in tears because she made my son sound as if he was going to die, as if there was no other choice & we HAD to. Then when she saw that I was upset, she went and called some social worker?? This doctor actually covered her ass by calling a social worker to come and speak to me, and justify the ignorance that was going on. Its completely ridiculous that I was forced to change my sons food just so they could get rid of us faster! It breaks my heart to know that there is a doctor walking around pushing parents into a corner, and forcing what she wants down their throats. I will be forever scarred by both of these woman, because when I was already fearful they made matters so so very much worse.

My father was admitted to this hospital for a stroke and the care we received was excellent! The nurses and staff are attentive, knowledgeable, caring and did everything possible to ensure my dad was well taken care of. I am so very pleased to have this hospital in our neighborhood. Thank you Providence Tarzana for everything.

Took my mom to the emergency room this morning. The service was impeccable, she was taken in right away, blood and urinalysis came in 1hr, she was given antibiotics and was sent home after having stayed a couple hours total at the ER! Dr Susan Ernstein and nurses and phlebotomist were top notch, and very friendly!
What a great experience!

Horrible experiences at the E.R. time and time again. The staff (specifically nurses/nurse's assistants) are rude and completely unprofessional. I think some sort of sensitivity training is in order. They treat the patients as if they are filth, and beneath them, and sadly this is the closest hospital to my home.
I am so disgusted by this facility, that In the future, when in need of emergency medical assistance, I will be taking the additional 10 minute trip to the next nearest hospital.

I was seen almost immediately, not even a 1 minute wait. The staff who took care of me were great; almost made me feel at home. The ER doctor, Dr. Catherine Park, was impressive. From the information she got from me, she told me she believed it was a pinched nerve. The pinched nerve diagnosis was confirmed by an orthopedic surgeon a couple of days later.

The Staff is beyond amazing, when I was hospitalized in March they took great care of me and were the best, and were all so sweet, helpful, and professional too. Thank you Providence Medical Center!:)

I just stay there for 5 days all the nurses and people that work on the 3 foor are very nice and I enjoy my stay there I i hope I well see you all again some time but not to soon lol

I just recently moved to the valley from Wisconsin. This hospital seems older and not up to date and the room wasn t in the greatest condition COMPARED to Wisconsin hospitals and clinics. Wisconsin has very nice hospitals brand new up to date all there clinics are ran like that. They re very clean and just look very nice and not outdate. So it s just a huge change for someone who just moved here.. The intake nurse was kind of short with me and not really rude just seemed like she didn t care what I had to say. Everyone else was great, the doctor listened to me and checked me out thoroughly, the respiratory therapist who came in 2 different males were both very friendly and helped me out. They don t have a call button in the room? So not sure how you call for help if you need help? This was something we had in Wisconsin. Overall they helped me out prescribed the medication I needed and was friendly so I don t have any complaints just trying to give a informed review.

I called the medical records line and I tried to get my medical records for a court case. The woman who answered the phone was the most rude person I have ever talked to. She told me that she wouldn't fax it or e-mail it to me, why she couldn't do that she refused to say. She told me the only way I could get them was to drive 50 miles down to Torrance to pick them up. She was so short with me and quick to hang up the phone it was infuriating, she was totally disinterested in helping me in any way. If this is how the employees at a hospital are acting something is seriously wrong.

This place is the worst hospital I've ever been in! The Nurse staff is horrible. They said after my back surgery that my pain would never go above a 3. Well i was in constance pain and always having to ask for my meds. Almost got into it with a CNA. And i could go on, I WOULD STAY AWAY IF POSSIBLE

Horrible!!! Don't come here unless you are a Dr yourself. The Dr lied to the nurse and me about my mother's ct scan. He lied to the nurse about talking to me about my mother's condition! My mother only recieved test ONLY after we asked about it. She only recieved antibiotics ONLY after we asked about it.

I can't tell you how wonderful the staff, doctors, and facilities are at Tarzana Hospital. I had major surgery and the doctors and nurses kept me comfortable for my whole stay which was a week long. Even the beds are fantastic!!!!!!!!

I delivered my baby here 6 months ago and it was a very positive experience. The room was giant, there was a bed for my husband in both - the delivery room and the recovery room, which was excellent. The delivery room also had a shower and tub in the room. The nurses were amazing, very caring, helpful, patient and calm! They really make you feel at ease, which can be hard to achieve, especially during labour. And even though I had a total of three doctors checking up on me and the baby through the labour, they were all very friendly. The hospital food was pretty good and because I was at the hospital on my birthday, they even sent up a birthday dessert with my lunch! Overall I felt very at ease here, everyone was very attentive, friendly and professional and made giving birth a pretty seamless and stress-free experience, which is AMAZING! I would highly recommend delivering your baby here!

The first room is not clean no paper on the sit where they check you out and people look like you bothering them to come disturb they conversation between them) very charming environment !! 'I go for a chest pain HBP pain in my arm ,history of blood clogs ,they take my blood but they run any blood test to get my results ????just X tray of my chest ( in necessary because if you got clogs they can't not see it ) and a ekg abnormal but he say no change from the last time ok the doctor was very nice but that going to help for my healt ???

Its absolutely the worst Hospital they dont answer the call buttons in a timeley manor when assistance is needed to go to the bathroom they dont come they just tell you to go ahead and poop and pee in the bed they will clean it up then it takes hours before they clean you up

I called the Nurses Station to leave a message for my brother so that he would not be disturbed and was told that she could not take a message. That's a first! It is no wonder that the reviews are less than outstanding!

Tarzana Medical Center is in the process of expansion. There is a joint agreement between Providence Saint Joseph and Cedar Sinai, which is great for its patients. It is in a great location and the influx of money b is great for the institution and it's patients.

Got there because my friend fell over at breakfast because his leg had been hurting for a couple of months. Waited 3 hours to be seen. Never got asked by anyone if he needed medicine for pain. They did an X-ray and referred him to somewhere else. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

A good clinic (in the 100 best), there are no big queues in the atmosphere, everything is done clearly, the wife here gave birth, a separate room with a couch for her husband (his presence is obligatory) toilet / shower, discharged on the 2nd day, in my case even participated, when the nurse left for a minute, asked her to hold her leg in a certain position)
Parking is paid, you can put in front of not a miter, or a little further in the pharmacy parking lot cvs.

I had my daughter at this hospital the service is amazing they made me feel safe when I was so scared....my next child will be born there as well I love them .

I just had a surgery at Providence , the staff is truly amazing and the nurses care of you in a professional but carrying way. the check in and check our process was easy and fast!

The pediatrics department was awesome. We had nurse Debbie for much of the time and she was wonderful. Everyone there was attentive and helpful even though the pediatrics ward was completely full and busy.

72 hour watch ends up with the patient alone to their own devices. The ineptitude of the staff and Dr. Lopez astounds me. If you want your loved ones in good hands I recommend Northridge Hospital and Kaiser Woodland Hills.

Advised a 94 year old friend to go after having suffered a fall and had a large lump on her head. She is on blood thinners. She had a terrible experience; nurse couldn't draw blood, they refused to let her caregiver in the room with her, they loaded her on a gurney completely ignoring the fact she had fallen and hurt herself. Finally got an MRI after two hours wait. Was told, "everything is fine", and sent home with no further information.

I delivered my baby boy at this hospital 6 months ago. I previously had delivered by daughter in 2013 and was expecting to have the same awesome experience. Unfortunately this time around wasn't as great. The anesthesiologist poked me 3 times with the spinal blockage . The Dr. Or the assistant Dr. Weren't even in the hospital. It took almost 10 minutes for them to locate them. So they had to update my spinal again. This was supposed to be a planned c-section. It was so unorganized. I got so nauseous and felt so out of it during the c-section. This was my 3rd c-section (2nd at this hospital) and my experience was worse than my first unplanned c section. Thank God I'm not having any more children.

Spent two nights after a stroke. Great care , and everyone--nurses, assistants and doctorswas very pleasant and helpful. Roommate was a screamer, abusive and combative with the nurses who ended up sedating him..

Wonder service they claim to provide, but takes to long to execute and when they make an error you are back to ground zero

I gave birth here in the woman s pavilion 6 years ago staff was really great and helpful in that department !
However went several times to ER, and they did not accommodate well my daughter needed itch cream that I couldn t afford over the counter, and the doctor refused to prescribe it ! When I know any urgent care or medical center would. That s a very messed up thing to do to not give when people don t have money to buy something ,when medical can pay and help that what it there for peoples medical needs! I don t think I ll be returning here for help , it s my nearest hospital but I don t like their services! They don t provide adequate care!

The worse Hospital i have ever seen, County hospital treat you better than these people, Honestly, i wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place. My father was taken to this hospital do to a urinary infection and they did not provide him with the meds for his Parkinson, on top of that he kept on asking them for water and they refused it most of the time. when we picked him up he was prescribed a medication that was making him shake and fall on the floor.

I Just came into the Emergency room I was in the waiting room less the 15 minutes I got into a room right away the nurses are amazing in the ER! From getting my blood drawn to getting a iv I didn't have any issues. I had all male nurses they where amazing as well as Dr. Wang. Thank you for taking such great care of me!

I feel so blessed for all the caring and attention my baby and i had from all the staff Thanks to Dr Eshaghian i had an amazing delivery and thanks to the beautiful lady that helped him to bring my baby girl to this world she was very kind i just forgot her name ! They will charge you a fortune for that.$6,000 FOR ONE CAT SCAN LESS THEN 10 IMAGES.
you can get it outside the hospital for $500-$1000.like any other thing you should shop around!!!

Recently had a hysterectomy. The OR staff and nurses were AMAZING!!! However in recovery and my overnight stay, was a NIGHTMARE! Whomever the "Charge Nurse" was that night, was SOOOOOOOOOO RUDE, I couldn't even believe it! I was having trouble sleeping, throwing up, etc, My chart had on it that I suffer from "general anxiety disorder" So later that night, while I called for the nurse who was "attending" to me that night to let her know I had vomitted, the "charge nurse" proceeded to come in and lectured me for about 20 minutes on me having an anxiety disorder and that was causing me to vomit (no it was the morphine) and as anxiety causung my blood pressure to soar. So she decided to take my bp for herself, took her 15 minutes to even figure out how to work the machine! I've never been treated so awfully by a NURSE in my entire life! Found out later, she had been very rude to my husband earlier, when I was still groggy, coming out of surgery. He couldn't even get out a question to another nurse, because she jumped in and jumped down his throat! !! Until she found out it was my husband because he raised his voice (which he never does!) saying "she is my WIFE!". She sure changed her tune after that. Then found out, she was rude to my father, down in the cafeteria (she didn't know he was my father, until later on, then her attitude changed!) She ALSO made the mistake of giving me a medication I was allergic to! I don't know her name, never cared to learn, but if you see a woman "nurse" on the 2nd floor, with cat eye shaped glasses, RUN! I honestly don't know how she has a job there!

Ran away from West Hills Hospital because of incompetence, only to land at Tarzana and get every single thing I needed in a super timely basis. Nurses were kind and had a sense of humor; doctors intelligent and understood the pathophysiology of my illness after a tragic car accident 8 years ago.

I'm going to Tarzana Medical Center from now on. It took me 5 years after moving to this area, but Tarzana is IT for me. A pleasure to write a Review, because they are worth the time and effort.

Poor , very unhelpful in billing, wont let you know what your share (even an estimate) will be, the doctors office and the health care provider all said they are the ones to tell you the amount,when I called they pass the buck and say" The doctors office and health provider should know the amount we charge " Why should they know your prices and you wont tell us. and then we get a Bad surprise after !!!! you SUCK !!!!!!

I gave birth to my daughter here and the nurses and doctor made it a amazing experience. I felt the love and right at home. Great hospital and staff.

well this hospital can set the example for all the other hospitals in the country. everybody is very nice and helpfull the medical team is just so nice and professional and they really take good care of you .

Great place to go to the E.R. But they make you pay for parking which is automated and I only had a hundred which the machine didn't take. .. so I was sick and stuck there with no change, so one of the attendants told me to walk to CVS to get change. .....Crazy

I have had surgery here in the past and several ER visits. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Had to wait for a room for 1/2 with racing heart and high BP. But I think this hospital is a great hospital. My only wish is that the nurses not be so loud when they are chit chatting (laughing) at the nurses station. I don't think they realize that when people are trying to sleep or are in pain, that sounds are heightened. They often yelled down the halls in the ER for something humorous. I could not sleep at all due to the noise. However, the hospital called me twice after I was discharged to see how I was, to make sure I was taking my meds and had made a follow up appt with my doctor. They answer any questions you have and seem to really care about your well-being. After care is important too.

Friendly front desk, except the security guards but that makes sense since they're job is to be suspicious and the detective type in order to provide a safe environment.
Otherwise, overall good service when it comes to waiting.

Great nurses, physicians and staff. If you want top medical care this is the best place in the valley.
Non responsive billing department. They simply do not care. They do not return calls. They 100% misrepresented what was covered and what would not be covered by my specific insurance carrier.

Unexperienced staff, messy floors and hallways, and patient rooms. Overall, Holy Cross is much much cleaner

The nurses in the cardiac unit are absolutely amazing! Especially Jet in the cardiac ICU. David and Shirley were top notch and definitely are caring and very smart. If it wasn't for those 3 nurses going above and beyond their duties, I would've had a really miserable time.

They called me five times after midnight to come pick.up.my father from ER since they diagnosed him and they don't have an available bed. Not to mention I was frightened that he may have passed as being a cancer patient.
How is that my problem when I called and you still had him at ER after couple of hours of taking him there. You had the nerve to scare the heck out of me and my elderly mother that I needed to call and woke up.to bring him home.
Sandy, the nurse thinks she is the god by ordering me around. Are you going to put my father on the street at 1230 am or you gonna transport him home.
She doesn't know people don't live at health workers mercy. I hire and fire your profession for a Living.

I stay here for 2 day I wanted to say thank you to every one on the four foor the doctor was very nice and all the nurses where to if I have to come again I hope I well be on the sane foor they really care thank you and God bless all of you

The radiology bookings people are worse than useless. I've tried for a month to make an appointment, had my doctor fax through multiple papers, I've even faxed it and emailed it yet every time I call they can't find it or can't figure out how to make an appointment based on the information on the sheet that I'm giving them over the phone.

Staff and accommodations for the L and D (Labor and Delivery) were very professional. My wife and I felt very comfortable.

It is not like hospital, vary noisy, The people are laughing and laughing, and nobody takes care of the patients. Hospital officials do not pay attention at all.

What a wonderful experience! I had to get my blood drawn and then mail the blood to a special Laboratory. From the host at the entrance to the people in Admittance to the people working on my test, all of them were kind, patient and efficient. Thank you!

very fast, courteous, and knowledgeable. I always go here. I get seen quickly and good treatment. I work at another hospital, and even though I live on the other side of the valley, I come to this hospital.

What a horrible horrible experience. I came to get help when I was diagnosed with COVID 19 and they just released me and told me I d be fine when I was gasping for breath. I ended up in a near by hospital in the ICU 1 hour later!
