Don't stay here! Specifically called to confirm if breakfast was included, they confirmed it was, they lied (not the money, the principal). They are renovating, literally working all night!

Rating is for the restaurant. Visited early evening and had a lovely dinner in a quiet restaurant. Bar was well represented (can recommend the milkshakes). Food was interesting and the chef definitely adds local flavour to the dishes (we had rump and fillet - both delicious). Service was friendly. Probably one of the better hotel restaurants.

Reasonable product: poor execution.

Reasonable product: poor execution.
Quirky hotel, but not comfortable. Misleading images portray luxury which isn't evident.

> Bedrooms [4 double rooms viewed] lack space and comfort - laminated wooden floors with simply a bed and single plastic chair (reminiscent of a grand cell);
> Evidence of especially poor maintenance abounds - eg. missing window blind plus faulty venetian blinds;
> Access hours to facilities (eg. small swimming pool/gym) more limited than advertised, rubbish wi-fi;
> Ability of management to resolve problems appeared dilatory, unconcerned or inept;
> Bar service disturbing. Constant noise of blenders/coffee grinders pollutes an otherwise appealing appearance;
> Food service unbelievably slow - we gave up after waiting 50 minutes (so cannot add comment about food quality)!

We should only add reference to a previous reviewer who has indicated the location is handy for Camps Bay/Waterfront. This would be true if you have easy access to a helicopter as Camps Bay is 4 miles away with only a minor obstacle in the way known as Table Mountain/Lions Head.

Dubious grading up to 3 star calibre/price, and definitely ill suited for families.

room service is excellent, very accommodating, room decor very nice but small rooms ,we have a baloney but over looking next building , we can see a corner of table mountain , If you park in underground parking they still charge an extra R40 a day parking in the street is crazy busy , food menu prices are ridiculous too. For the money im not impressed. wouldn't stay here again . my sister tried booking in uk and charged twice the price so i booked in SA..

An average hotel in the picturesque Cape town. The place offers comfortable and budget accommodation with decent housekeeping. They have a nice terrace with great views of Table Mountain which makes the hotel unique. The staff is courteous and friendly. The hotel also has a nice restraunt which provides delicious food.
