I toured a property with Proulx Real Estate. The realtor did not have any business cards so I called Erin to submit an offer 16K over the asking price. I never received a return phone call. House sold.
To further clarify to the Realtor's response to my post (below). I called the owner of the business (Erin Proulx) the same afternoon as the showing and requested a call back to get some questions answered and wanting to make an offer. The owner never called back and I finally received a call back from a begging listing agent after posting a review outlining my frustration. I told her I saw no reason to remove the post as it simply states fact.
It is also possible that the realtor only wanted to show the house to their own clients so that all commissions could be kept with their firm. I am not saying that it is the case here however I am saying that it is possible.
Another unfortunate part could be for the sellers involved as they missed out on another potential well qualified bidder in the process.
